I hope RCA means it about putting the GNT DVD out in stores & that that involves TV promo gigs for Adam. I think FYE would have sold way more had IT been more available in retail stores (although ALL artists' DVD sales are down from years ago; consumers now primarily download their music). It has not been on shelves anywhere where I live. FYE should be now, especially, with this year's Grammy attention. Oh, that's right, they are doing their darndest at CBS to keep Adam hush hush and off the air.

Hope RCA Ed et al from RCA donate a sizeable amount to Adam's water charity. They should have plenty of cash left over from the money they apparently have NOT spent to promote Adam in the USA & UK. They seem to leave it up to his fans (with what I consider to be a condescending attitude toward us by, i.e. RCA Ed), who do a fabulous job of this--all over the Internet. Love how RCA gets into the swing of things whenever Adam trends on Twitter. Wow. How much does that cost? I'm being snarky. Please correct me with factual information if I'm wrong.

What has RCA been doing to get Adam visible, let alone a performance on CBS' Grammy show?! There is a rumor circulating that Adam's nomination category won't even be televised on the Grammys. Why was he not nominated as Best New Artist?! If his FYE album was great enough to get 2 producers nominated for Best Producer and its singer nominated for Best Male Pop Performance, why isn't FYE nominated for Best Album?! I thought it was the record labels that were supposed to campaign for their artists for Grammy nominations.

Why aren't releases of Sleepwalker and especially Fever or Aftermath going out on USA radio stations?! If TV and radio stations are blacklisting Adam because he is gay, this becomes a Civil Rights/Discrimination/Freedom of Expression issue (in violation of the U.S Constitution). RCA should be fighting for Adam. Otherwise, if they leave promotion and word of mouth advertising totally up to fans via Internet (afterall, his entire GNT was SOLD OUT that way), why does Adam even need RCA?!

I heard Adam had to come up with the money out of his own earnings for not only his videos, but the GNT. Is that true? I suspect Adam is a fabulous businessman in the making.

Major music labels better take note (When you read about the music industry in general, it appears to be at a crossroads, if not crisis, financially). If an uprising of an entire country can be orchestrated over the Internet, so can an artist's career.

Thank you Kentucky Fan.......I too think it's about time RCA stepped up.....they are taking advantage of a good thing....Adam and his fans.

And it seems we are always pushing for the next thing to come out...what's with that, I sure they are getting paid to think about these things.....I wonder when his contract w/RCA runs out...

I have said it before; you are spot on. Why am I feeling that Adams managment doesn´t want him to succeed? That´s crazy. But I can´t help it. Without his fans devoted support he would be out of the picture. The total lack of promotion he got here before the GNT concert in november really pissed me off. He could easilly have played a bigger venue, had anyone (except for hard core fans) known he was coming. And for visibility on TV; I watched Showbiz Tonight, crap gossip TV, and there was this story about Teen Moms on MTV. Adam was the first one critcising that show, but he wasn´t mentioned. It was this bimbo Kim Kardashian who also had opinions about the show who got the headlines. That is just one example. That his GNT and charity work never hits the news is remarkable. But I guess he is "protected from overexposure". We should be thankful for that, shouldn´t we, RCAEd?

Absolutely agree with many of the comments presented about the lack of promotion for Adam and his FYE album. Every time I tuned on the radio all I heard over and over again were songs from Pink, Kesha, Gaga, Katy Perry. Where were WWFM or IIHY on the local stations arouhd this NYC area? If I didn't watch the videos from his GNT on this blog, I would never even know anything about Adam and his tour which was such a success internationally. Also, have not heard one word about his charity/water donation campaign for his birthday in the media. He has the best voice in the music industry today and yet we don't see him on any tv shows talking about the Grammy nomination from FYE. I know he will appear on THE TALK next week, but who really watches that show. I will, of course, to see Adam, but will he perform? Who knows? Bruno Mars, also nominated, gets off basically with a slap on the wrist for the cocaine problem he had in Vegas; that makes the news. Yet Adam with his charity affiliations(Water, Donors.org), gets no mention at all. Thank goodness for all his devoted fans who keep his name, music, and appearances in the picture. Wake up RCA!

Thank you for telling it like it is. It is shameful that he is not promoted more. That Kesha is nominated for anything is a joke (I know he likes her and she may be a good person, but talent? Not!)

At least when FYE came out it was advertised, not like Taylor Swift maybe, but it was always highlighted in the Sunday forums. The new Idols Lee and Crystal aren't being advertised at all that I can see. Idol has a new record producer so interesting to see if they get more promo. Adam is getting more promo than most, he is included in a lot of other records, Now, Dance, etc. Grammy album. I don't think Adam paid for his tour, he said he paid for some of the back drops. This was a huge departure for an Idol star not opening for another act--it was sort of experimental I believe to see if he could bring in the audiences. He did!!!
