There's a contest on AfterElton's website that asks readers to vote for their favorite "Gay" Celebrity. Looks like Adam is one of the early favorites!

I didn't know #4 was gay, he's on brothers and sisters playing a gay married man, love him but love adam more. Does this mean Adam's in the 9th spot right now?

I went to the site and read the comments, one was very interesting. Would Chaz Bono now qualify for the list? No, because he is considered a straight man now. That amazes me,I would have never thought about it.

I was going to comment on a previous thread, but got busy. It was about Brooke's tweet "wedding". In response, she is getting married. Here is a tweet from her from the 13th of Feb (I live in Norther California, wish I could help her...now wouldn't that be sweet, maybe be invited to the wedding where surely Adam will be attending-HAHA!!):

I never really understood why brides go crazy, until NOW! Come on, who has the inside track on outdoor wedding venues in northern cal?

To be honest some of these men are stunning, like John Barrowman, Luke McFarlane (love him) and Cheyenne Jackson. Of course Adam is in this list.

I didn't know Gandalf was gay. Excellent actor he is. top right corner

Gay, straight, whatever..Adam Lambert is just the best looking man in any category. He looks stunning in this picture from his Grammy awards appearance. I just wish that he would not be referred to as the gay American Idol runner up or the gay rock singer, etc. He is an entertainer, a dynamic performer both musically and visually and should not/does not have to be the" poster child" for any or every gay cause or reference. His career should be about the music as its main focus.

Anon 7:53 Seems like the "gay" label all but went away during Emmy week. I thought it was great.

In this case, it's a gay publication running a poll for a gay favorite so, not a problem for me. Having a gay son, I'm glad these guys are out and in the public eye for my son to look up to.

Wonder who Adam will bring as his guest to Brooke's wedding - hope Sauli.

@Ebbtide, Agree completely with what you said. Most of the men I voted for arent in the top 10- such as Brad Cheeks Bell, Cassidy Haley, Jai Rodriquez, Alec Mapa, Lt. Dan Choi, Nate Berkus, Nathan Lane, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and so on. Am very happy that there are so many out celebrities now that it was difficult to narrow my choices. And to think that every year we will have more and more choices as more gay celebrities come out! "Times, they are a changing".

So Brooke getting married in No. CA. I live in No. CA, but most weddings aren't in my backyard, they are usually in the Napa, Sonoma area where they have great vineyards, hotels and accommodations for celebrity weddings. Still, No. CA is not So. CA and can be very cold this time of the year until Summer. Wonder if Adam will sing at her wedding? Would hope/think so.

Would imagene that Adam singing at a wedding, would take ALL THE ATTENTION away from the bride and groom. BTW, it's to be so cold tonite here in So. Cal. that it might snow in the valleys. This hasnt happened in 70 years. We shall see!

@The Dark Side,I guess I either forgot or didn't realize you were also from N Cali. Are you ready for the possible snow here tonight? I live in foothills, but not sure if it'll make it down to me or not. Exciting stuff around here. It's about the only thing on television now! Last time was 35 years ago on my birthday. I know all you regular snow peeps probably think we are nuts!

@Adam luv - I lived in Huntington Beach where it snowed in 1991, that was only 20 years ago. Also hubby and I were on our way to see his grandmother who lived in LA and it was snowing. That was l984. I made a snowman in Long Beach in 1949. I was seven. Now I live in the Great Northwest and it snows all the time. Love it.

The only bad thing I can see for So Cal to have snow is that the people don't know how to drive in it and if you get an inch on the freeways, watch out! My advice - put on a sweater, make some soup and read a good book, or go back to your younger days and make a snowcone. Good luck and enjoy.:)

I voted for ADAM & other guys but he's the only one that made the list ... guess my choices are more obscure ... don't know. This is a ONE vote only poll I believe ... not sure tho'

@ Adamluv, I used to keep a cheap bag of cat litter in my car in the winter in Chicago in case wheels would keep spinning on ice. It helped me out so many times.I also kept my gas tank full. People would run out of gas on the interstate stuck in traffic and I never did. In Charlotte they close the schools with 1" of snow which always makes me laugh. The city shuts down! funbunn40
