I think Adam said Madonna is his favorite female diva.

I love Adele. "Not drunk enough" is for me her best song. I used to listen to it over and over. Will have to buy her new record.

Adam has good taste! I love her music.

Adam is always so complimentary of other artists. He does have good taste and so do we because we love Adam's music!

Off topic just read where Music Again will be the next single in Hungary. I remember just when Adam released his album Randy Jackson said that should be a single. I love that song. Other countries are getting so lucky to have different singles off FYE put out !

Fuck! It's blocked in my country :(

She has beautiful voice. Love this song and I'm in tears!

Crystal Bowersox comes a little close to her vibes.

Got to buy her album!

Nice of our generous Adam to keep giving kudos to other artists on twitter. Wouldn't it be nice if they RETURNED THE FAVOR when his new CD comes out in the fall? Don't mean this in a snarky way, just wish it would happen.

Adele is fabulous! For those of you old enough to remember the Mommas and the Papas, she reminds me of Mama Katz, not because of her size, but because of the fabulous vocal ability and soul of that diva. Adam has great taste, and I can't wait for his new music. Adam is the master of beauty in song!

Crystal, yes, I hear it.....also a tiny bit of Wynona and a smidge of Allison Iraheta. In other words a strong woman's voice.

Nice change from the twinkie pop singers who tear up the charts. Why Why Why?.........JAK

She was on Ellen Show this morning, very nice vocal.

I love the lyrics...wonder if she wrote the song? She has an interesting voice and a lot of soul. Thanks, Adam, for showing us another great artist!

I'm so glad he tweeted that message. Adele is my absolute favorite female artist. She is incomparable,in my opinion,in the female vocalist field. Adam is still unsurpassed, but she's pretty amazing!!!

Adam, you made me squee with delight! I'm going to buy her album tomorrow.

P.S. I think she would be a great duet partner. Her vioce is soulful,raspy...beautiful!!!

@6:15 Yes, a great duet partner for Adam. It also may give Adam the push he needs for popularity in the UK, since that is where Adele is from.

adam is always complimentary and promotes other peoples music, it is about time other artists to compliment his music, so far, i haven't heard any.

Great soulful voice and sounds to me like a velvety Allison Iraheta.I can also see her doing a soulful ballad with Adam. OT.. @Fan4fun, left you & Icon a note on Tommy's interview thread. Just watched Idol and James Durbin mentioned Adam, trying to bring Adam into his previous performance. Think he's more like Sebastian Bach. Adam just has the ability to build up to the notes in a controlled way. Think the vocal coaches will help him a lot. Adam was already a star when he auditioned. He had the goods and no rough edges. The vocal coaches did do a fantastic job helping Adam with the arrangements, especially Michael Orland. Adam might want to get his input for the new album. funbunn40

This video is not blocked, there she sings one of the most beautiful songs in the album (one of my favorites actually): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78mlPQEmbOA

That was my first thought too...I could her Allison Iraheta in her voice.

You're right. Adam didn't need any polishing or "coaching" when he was on Idol. Not only did he know what he wanted to do, but he could DO IT. Truly one of a kind.

@funbunn40 I thought about Alison also. Amazing voice, great music and lyrics.

Just bought her CD today, and am very impressed..listened to it on my way home after purchasing, and immediately thought that this is one voice that would not be drowned out by Adam's powerful voice, and she also has amazing control over it, as Adam does. So yes, as a hypothetical duet, I think it would be a very good match and could be quite impressive to many. As an aside, I think it would be fabulous to hear Adam do some jazz-y blues-y music at some point in his career, because I think he would be really good, just as he is at everything else... The sky is the limit for this man.

Adam definitely would do a number on a blues song. He easily has the soul for it. I also loved Tracks of my Tears by Smokey Robinson. Loved the meaning of the lyrics as he explained them to Adam . Wish Smokey would write something for Adam. He's timeless for me. ...@Fan4fun Poor Icon must have had a massive hairball! funbunn40

Adele was raw, but in a very beautiful way!

Adele is magnificent. My tween likes her as much as I do, and I think that's saying something, to have that wide ranging appeal... reminds me of someone else we all know and love ;).

ps. @funbunn40 - like the Sebastian Bach reference :)

Adam is so sweet.

I love Adele, and if you haven't heard it, listen to her song "Chasing Pavements" from a few years ago (it finally got play in the U.S. a year ago). It's my favorite and shows off her amazing vocals deliciously.
