Using Google Chrome that translates from German to English I just ordered Sleepwalker. Can't wait to get it. Love the single cover picture so much! Go to the link to place your order using Google Chrome:
I see red roots! The black hair is very dramatic and he couldn't look bad if he tried but I did like some of pre Idol hair colors, rich brown and even the strawberry blond.
Elvis had dyed his hair black by the time he was Adam's age.....big improvement. He and I were 20 when I met him.....yes, I'm THAT OLD! His natural hair color was mousey medium brown with sun streaks.
@ JAK, I remember the mousey brown hair that Elvis had. Loved his black leather look back then and I see such a connection and similarity between Elvis and Adam. Both had humility, charisma and devastating good looks. I think Adam will be the one in this generation to reach the heights of Elvis and beyond. He is more worldly and savvy and has family and friends around him that will hopefully always keep it real. They both seemed to be plugged into a very special outlet in the universe. Opportunists broke that connection for Elvis and he became a prisoner of his fame. I hope with the tragedy of Elvis and MJ that will never happen to Adam and lessons will be learned by all. funbunn40
You are so on target. I interviewed Elvis for my college newspaper when he was just beginning his career. He was shy, inarticulate and flirty all at the same time. Already traveling with a couple of his Memphis cronies. They gave me the creeps.
Elvis was poorly prepared to become the star that he was and I always blamed Col. Tom Parker for not letting Elvis grow.
I think it's a safe bet no one is going to control Adam. Of course Adam is older and better educated than Elvis was.
It's strange Elvis was King but I always felt sorry for him.
OT...@ Jak, I so agree. I think Col. Tom Parker destroyed any real opportunity for a movie career for Elvis, keeping him doing those generic, repetitive movies. Elvis could have played dramatic, meatier parts, but I think the Col. was afraid of losing control of his cash cow and was't savvy enough to be in the entertainment league of the big boys. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Elvis and was so sorry that he became so isolated and out of touch with reality. I hope that Adam won't be forced to live like a hermit in that environment, but think he'll keep it real. What an opportunity for you and great memory to interview Elvis! funbunn40

Off Topic:
@GIOW, I left you two must-see 24/7 links on The Situation thread (just in case you haven't gone back there).
One is the most fabulous, happy, sparkly photo of Adam ever....my new favorite.

Adam said this week that he is moving away from the glitter and glam. Don't give it up completely, Adam. We've all had a lot of fun with it.
