Glad the glamily boys are keeping busy until Adam's next tour! Good that Monte is looking out for Tommy and both live in LA, so will be available when Adam records. funbunn40

Since there is room here to comment I'd like to say something nice about Idol last night. I've only seen it twice, all the way thru this season. I was favorably impressed. Nice variety of styles and voices.

I see James Durbin is no longer making Adam fans foam at the mouth. The boy is a singer. Also, I'll eat crow, I had commented that while I liked Scotty I didn't see him as a solo singer....wrong again.

The show is a good mix-up and the judges actually are getting in the swing of things and giving some solid advice. Yea for Season 10. It won't be a snoozer like Season 9.

Now for MY BEST WISHES to Monte and Company.
Montes a great guitarist and has a lot of mouths to feed, I wish he and the guys the greatest success........JAK

Great to hear news of Adam's band. :)

James Durbin has disabilities but sheesh! He certainly isn't lacking in self-confidence! Wasn't impressed with his performance this week. Then again, the band/orchestra was so loud it nearly drowned everyone out.

Not crazy about this season's Idol wannabes but there are a couple of nice voices.

In regard to AI, I absolutely agree about the band. It is so loud that it does drown out the singers and I actually sat there cringing last night during a few of the performances because the band ruined the song. Doesn't anybody there realize this? There were some good performances last night, but at times they seem overproduced. With the help of the record producers, it just seems that they have already turned these kids into professionals. And, of course, good luck to Monte and the boys in Las Vegas.

I agree that the band is too LOUD the performers seem to have to yell to be heard in some instances. I thought it was just my wonky hearing....all bands are too loud for me, that's why I keep saying "more acoustic!" THAT I can hear perfectly. I miss Ricky Minor....JAK

Agree JAK that I miss Ricky Minor. Was not impressed last night with James Durbin's performance. Mediocre at best, last week he was much better. He was pitchy last night and don't like his personality, disability or not. I like some but don't see an it factor from any of them.

My two choices still remain Pia & Jacob with Stefano & Haley as the dark horses ... I'm sure James D. will be in the top 5 if he stays on but sorry ... guys ... I do not see him as the next Am. Idol ... don't forget he is saving his Aerosmith song for the 'finale' ... never heard ANY of the kids from AI 8 say anything like that ... pretty sure of himself I would say. There is 'confidence' & then there is 'cocky' ... you pick one. ADAM was always confident but NEVER 'tooted' his own horn .... sorry ... JMO .. Love 'n Light to ALL Glamberts Worldwide ... 'specially our fans in Japan ... my prayers are with you ...

I believe one of our clan mentioned that people with James "syndromes" often blurt out inappropriate outbursts, I try to keep that in mind.

The season is definitely better than last year. IMO all it had was Crystal's voice and Casey's looks. Sometimes I'm shallow. Nancy

I have watched idol for 10 years now, OH adam what have you done? I compare all talent to him and no one comes close for me. Yes, they are talented, better than last year, but as a die-hard idol fan I'm forever disappointed, but then again I can't see myself ever getting invested with anyone else no matter how good they are. Hey, I'm going to vegas next month,
(for 1 year late honeymoon) does anyone know if monte or tommy ect will be there then?

Absolutely agree with previous comment. I, too, compare all the talent to Adam from season 8. He set the bar so high that no one will ever come close to him. Adam Lambert is in a league of his own. Season 9 was a lackluster one and this one seems too over the top with a loud band, and much more movement on the stage by the contestants who might think they are better than they actually are. At this time it is very hard to pick who will be the winner. On point, hope Monte and the boys have a great time in Vegas. I guess they will be working on Adam's new album when it is ready for production.

Lovely to see them all stick together.

Love with big hug! xxx

1. Tommy loose in Vegas needs to be recorded. Are they performing or partying or both?
2. Last night's Idol was so so, a little bit boring.
3. Still shaking my head over Tyler's floral chiffon blouse and Jlo's tigeress hair.
4. Personal opinion, the claim this is the best group of contestants ever, nope not by a long shot!

@the Dark Side,
agree about last night. I really don't think the producers and Jimmy Iovine are helping, bring back the guest mentors (preferably adam...) and bring back theme weeks, then maybe Pia won't pick Witney everyweek, and Scotty won't sing the same song every week. At least Jlo gave some critique last night.

Agree HK fan,I don't like the producer thing. Is it really even helping them? Imagine Adam on this season, he would not need anyone to tell him how to sing a song. He has that special gift to pick great songs and sing them perfectly. Never remember him having any pitch problems. I know James has a disability, but I just can't get past his comment about singing Aerosmith in the finale. Seems Steven Tyler sees him as doing no wrong. Then again he said Naomi sang beautifully when she was totally off key.

They should let JLO comment last, then she won't interrupt or overtalk Randy or Steven. Steven finally got some cojones last night after he realized it was ok to critique the performers. Kinda sick of everyone being JLO's "Baby". Love the timbre in Scotty's voice. Sefano was 'da bomb!'

Notice how they keep Jacob last or toward the end of the performances. Now I know why Adam called him Sister.

Hope TJR has fun in Vegas. They have a show tomorrow night in San Diego so he might not get to celebrate St Patrick's day too much.

I tried to get tickets to see Monte and Tommy at the Winking Lizard in Cleveland but they are sold out. The concert is in June, a very small venue, it would have been so much fun.
