I have been voting for the past hour or so and Adam is moving up slightly since the Glambert Nation got wind of this contest. Since we had no idea this was coming up today, we will have to play catch up. ADAM ALERT!! VOTE, VOTE, VOTE. How long is this voting open? anyone know?

I have voted from Canada but it seems that you can only vote one time. Am I right? When I try 2nd time, it said I've already voted.

adam cant win this, first you have all the greenday fans voting and then all the haters thatll vote for anyone up against lambert. get real people - should win but wont.

I had just seen this and voted, but yeh, it seems you can only vote once, I seem to remember voting more than once last year though, maybe its every 20mins or somrthing?

First round of voting I was able to vote multiple times (about 12 or 15 votes) then they "locked" me and said they would unlock me after a "cooling off" time. So I tried again after a couple of hours and it said "we've already counted your vote". Waited another couple of hours now and it took my vote! So go figure! IDK! Let's keep trying, okay?

there is something wrong with this voting system.when i started to vote it was 20.51 it went up to 20.58 and down to 20.56 and finally it went to 20.6.

I hate polls when they don't tell you when the voting ends( hrs,days,or what?)I've voted til I got the"we've already received your vote"also.Don't forget to keep voting for the idol of the month,where Adam is winning( unless we get too distracted)...Green Day was so far ahead when we found out about this new poll; a BIG head start..I will keep voting when it lets me,tho.

I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO PIT ONE ARTIST AGAINST ANOTHER (especially when one is a group and the other a solo artist). MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER AND IS JUST DESIGNED TO START FAN WARS. What is MTV trying to accomplish with this? I mean, U2 against Kesha -- What the f...?

I voted numerous times on th Adam vs. Green Day vote the first time. Then I went back and it said my vote was already counted. I will go on again tomorrow. Why would they compare Adam to Green Day, it's weird very different. But also Kesha against U2? U2 very talented, Kesha not so much.

U2 against Kesha. Really? Green Day against Adam....I don't know but the percentage isn't moving for Adam and I don't think it is working - or was it just for the Glambert hits on their site? When the polls don't reflect accurately I sort of get skeptical...sorry. I'll check back to it tomorrow and hope that I am completely wrong.

Do these polls actually MEAN anything? Or is it just to keep fans busy?

What I HATE about this is that Green Day and Adam are my two favorite ones. I LOVE both... I feel guilty for not immediately leaning towards Adam, though.

I think we got started too late with this one,but I like Green Day too after Adam.

I think you have to reload the web site ever time you vote, I try that for about 10 times and I can see the % increase slightly each time .

@ Anomymous @ 5:40pm,yes to vote for Adam for American Idol of the month,& you're not on twitter( like me)vote when you see the "I am human",that's IS where you start,fill in the letters &/or numbers.If you can't make out the letters,etc sometimes,you get another chance..type in those different letters( with a space between the "words"..)you can vote every 20 mins.

These polls are reallhy meaningless but they do keep the performers we like out in the public eye. So I guess it doesn't hurt to do it. I vote just because I'll do anything to support Adam. It's not like there's a "winner" or anything. Just bragging rights.

I went back, in a disguise (dressed as Dusty Madrid), but that MTV site was just too wicked smart for it's own good and said "uh uh, ginger, we know it's you under there!" and told me my vote had already been counted. It's after 1:00 am and Adam has hardly moved for the number of fans at several different sites that say they are voting. MTV completely ignored Adam at their award show and this seems to be a lesson in futility, other than they are getting hits on their site. We've tryied disguises too, aunt, mommy got dressed like a common european striped silver&darkgray cat and I was wearing a white uniform, a chef hat and had a big wood spoon under my arm. Mommy allowed me to vote for sweet Adam first, but then, when she tryied to vote they said: «Your silly talking mom has voted already, now you cook-chef cat go to play with your pink teddy bear». Well at least they got a bit confused and thought mommy was ME! Meaw-ha!

Green Day has an enormous, well-established fan base, and while Adam may not win this one (yet), with our help, I sure we'll see to it that he makes a decent showing. Who knows, one day the fans of some new artist will be saying the same thing when paired off against the hugely popular and internationally famous Adam Lambert. LOL... VOTE with Love, VOTE for Adam.

I was so gun-ho about voting only because it shows adam's incredible fan base and I'm proud of that. On the other hand I agree with 9:21, 10:05 and 10:15. MTV has sucked when it comes to adam and this will probably be fixed (maybe) since we didn't have a head start. But in the long run, voting for adam on this matter because of the fan base out wins my dislike for MTV. mixed emotions, but I'm still going to vote my once a day allowed quota lol

spending my free time LOL,i calculated from 9.10pm yesterday to 7.10am today(my time) a difference of 10 hours there was 1.62% increase. At this rate, it will take around 6-7 days to reach 50% - why such a slow ride?

I haven't been able to vote at all for 3 days ... I just sit here talking back to my computer when it says I've already voted ... BUT THAT WAS THREE DAYS AGO!!!
