TOTALLY OFF TOPIC ALERT - been hoping for a thread about Monte/Tommys gig last Monday nite at The Mint in LA, but guess no one was filming. I was there and thought maybe 1 1/2 of you might be interested in my observations! If not, scroll on by! Stood about 5 feet directly in front of Monte in the first row. It was their best show IMO! The music was great and their last 2 songs were wild, rocking out, hard core rock n' roll! Just like Ryan Tedder said the other day about Adam being a rock star, this is also Monte and Tommys forte!!!!!! I spoke with them both at the end of the evening and told Monte it was evident watching them perform how much they enjoy rocking out. He said that they will be doing more of this kind of music in the future!!!!!! Cant wait! Never seen Monte looking as good as he did - hair, beard, body etc.! Very attractive man and a total sweetheart to talk with. Tommy was his usual hot hot self, surrounded by girls/woman after the show. Females just cant keep their hands off the boy!!!!! Taylor was also there and I'd never met him before so that was fun. My friend took a picture with him and also a great one of Tommy and his roommate. End OF PART 1! . . . Adamluv

OT CONT. PART 2 - Remember the woman from The Talk who had to sing FYE during the contest of singing Adams songs? The first one was Jazzy, a teenager asked to sing IIHY, and the middle one was Tanesha for FYE. I remember a couple of you commenting how much you enjoyed her reaction to being so close to Adam - about the look of sheer joy and admiration for him. She's the one who commented about liking the freckle on his lip. Well, she was at the Mint too and was right next to me. I hadnt seen her since meeting her and Jazzy at Adams b-party at the Hard Rock Hotel back in Jan. She just radiates enthusiam and joy for life! Love being around such positive people. Continuing OT, after Monte and Tommy performed, Mark Ballas came on with a guitar and a drummer guy. Yes, the Mark Ballas who's on DWTS! Didnt know what to expect since I know he's a great professinal dancer, but was pleasantly surprised at his singing. He actually sang well and his entire segment was very entertaining. He said his DWTS friends were in the audience too. BTW, anyone here from the LA area, Monte and Tommy are playing next Sun. nite at the Hotel Cafe. . . . Adamluv

Adamluv, I am just so jealous that I don't live in the LA area. I would enjoy each and every one of these gigs. I am such an Adam fan and it is pure pleasure to hear about the incredible talent that is spawning off his success. Do you live in LA? You are very lucky. So great you are able to go to the LA shows! I loved the show (with you, Suz, and many other Adam friends) in Dec. at Molly Malone's. I too am very jealous of your proximity to LA! Those guys really do put on a great show, and yes, the ladies LOVE Tommy and he LOVES them!

Anyway, just wanted to throw this out there again that Monte, Tommy, and Warren Willis on drums will be in Richland (Tri-Cities) WA on April 28th at Ray's Golden Lion, tickets at the door $15. The venue holds about 300 so reservations are not required, according to my "source". I am hoping to go, as it is within driving distance for me and is about 200 miles east of Seattle.., close to the Oregon border. Still not sure yet..As Adamluv said, its a chance to see the guys again, up close and personal, enjoy their amazing guitar skills, hear Monte sing, and meet a lot of fans. And, by the way, Tri-Cities is hometown to Isaac Carpenter. Just a little bit of Glam Nation trivia..Another super nice guy...So for those in the Northwest, who are wishing they lived closer to LA, here is your chance!

Oh fellow, I so much miss myself, the woman I was 20 years ago at a time I wasn't dependant on cellphone or Internet (no existence for them), no pets depending on me and everything I had could fit in 3 big suitcases... and there was money in my saving account. If I were back, I would take the next flight to Los Glamgeles and you would never ever get rid of me! Neither would sweet Adam and his Glamily!

OT: Last night Adam and Rihanna were at Las Palmas, don't know if they were together. But Markus Molinari ( Adam's friend) said thanks to Rihanna for the welcome home. Adam tweeted Markus with a "welcome home" and Markus tweeted back to Adam "you're everything". Markus was at Adams B-day party and has a lot of Adam on his site. They are friends, along with Katy Perry, Russell Brand, and Ferras. Nobody said Sauli was with Adam. Wouldn't it be great if Adam and Rihanna made some music together?

I am only about 365 miles from LA, but might as well be 3365, because of my health I am stuck.

I have to admit I don't know who Keegan is, I don't watch TV much. I love doing the Sudoku puzzles, and reading. Oh, and lurking tweeter.

And your mentioning Tanesha made me watch the Talk vids again --- man that Lambert Dude gives me palpitations every effin time I watch/hear him LIVE --- and you said it: Tanesha radiates enthusiasm and joy for life (I was one of those thrilled to see it)! Sauli is busy with the Roadshow. I checked Tutka and he and Katri were probably having dinner at the Finland's Honorary Consulate in LA yesterday. They will also go to Conan O'Brien show. It's very popular here in Finland, because Conan likes Finland and jokes about us a lot. We can't see the show on TV at the moment, but they promised that it will start again soon.

Direct translation of "Rakastan" is "I love", it does not say "I love you" (leaves out the object of love, so to speak), but I guess it's obvious now who is the object of his love...
And it does not include the word forever.

"I love you forever" would be "Rakastan sinua ainiaan"... (an overstatement in these modern times, if you ask me...lol)

Thanks for the info about Monte and Tommy playing at the Hotel Cafe next Sun. nite....I love their guitar playing so much and will try to catch the show. I was driving in the car today with a friend and, of course, we were listening to Adam's GNT CD admiring all his vocals but also talking about how blown away we are by Monte's playing! My friend is a musician and said Monte's playing is a lot like Jeff Beck. I know the name but don't know what group he plays with. Anyway, Monte's fantastic!

Jeff Beck was BIG in the 70s played with British group The Yardbirds....He was one of those guys who was so good he played with most of the bands throughout the 80s. Sort of the Slash of his day. So your friend was paying Monte a big compliment.........
