Shop, baby, Shop. I hated the city, but the shopping was nice. We use to bring my brother down from Upstate NY, to college. I hate the traffic, but loved the stores.

Love the old pictures, sometimes. I'm really more interested in Adam and his career. Leave the personal life alone. Go get a National Enquirer or watch TMZ if you're interested in the paperazi stuff.

I am just a romantic...want to see Adam and Sauli having fun in NY - holding hands...maybe even a kiss. They are so adorable - can't get enough...

Ive never been to NY but, since you ask , I think you should send for Tommy and make good on that date to have Tatoos done together . You asked him , remember , and you keep bringing it up-- he says lets do it , then you back off . Whats the problem ? Are you a man of your word or not ? Lots of fans waiting for this to happen !

Fan4fun said...

I don't like NYC at all! Can't wait for the «airport time» and fly out of there. That's it: I like the airports. Ha!

GO SHOPPING. NY is the fashion capital of the country!

Love to go to NYC for the theater, esp. musicals. Then it's the museums for the cultural side. And you can always find some good place to eat. Even though it is the fashion capital of the country, I live in NJ and don't have to pay that outrageous tax on clothing. So come to NJ for shopping at our fantastic malls. And as a teacher, I also noticed the use of WHOM instead of WHO in Adam's message. If he needs or wants anyone to proofread or edit what he has written, I am available for free. As long as he can write and perform those wonderful songs, he has nothing to worry about in a little grammatical slip. Most people don't know the difference anyway. Hope Adam had fun in NYC. From what we have seen so far, it looks like he did.

Theatre, theatre, and theatre. Museums, clubs, and just People WATCHING in the great city! Nothing like the feeling you have walking down the streets of NYC day and night!

Haven't been there in a long time, but loved all of the theater, restaurants, shopping and the idea of being in one of the top cities in the world!

I've been in New York so many times....

8 hours drive from Toronto and here we go shopping and the Liberty of course. My daughter loves it but sometimes it gives me a huge headache. Too commotions and traffic as well.

I also love NYC for all the reasons mentioned above.

Teacher @7:14, I did notice the who/whom usage and I'm only mentioning it because you did. Adam has a little pronoun problem from time to time (like many of us) but he's Adam and is so loved for so many reasons by us so it really doesn't seem to matter.

I hope he really relaxes and has fun in New York.

Never mind about us. Since we're not being innundated with news and pics of you and sexy Sauli strolling hand in hand , stealing little kisses and making heart eyes at each other, I'm assuming the two of you are keeping quite busy doing delicious things in private that are none of our business . I wouldnt mind hearing an official announcement of some kind . You Could elope ! Now that would be NEWS

I miss that hairstyle!

My fav thing to do in NY is going to Central Park. Glorious blossoms feisty birds lazy turtles sunning on rocks and in ponds. And riding the bus meeting the real folks in the city. I actually had a dream about you last night we were chatting on a train. Lovely!

I also miss that hair style! Never been to NY City but was in upstate NY one August and loved how the trees had already begun to change to their fall colors. Here in Calif. I'll drive miles out of my way just to see 1 tree with fall colors! Glad Adam is enjoying his life. ..... Adamluv

So many great love songs about New York. Hope he's living one or all of them. To Adamluv, also live in Sunny California so know what you speak. Although I am in No. CA and every few years my own trees will turn.

Love that face, love that shirt, love that man, used to love that hair style, but it's the early Adam and I Adore the current Adam. Besides, that hair style became too Liza Minelli for me. But the man? I'll keep the man.

This is off the subject of NYC. What about the rumor that you are going to perform in Russia in August?????

Adamluv said...

@3;09, I think that just turned out to be an untrue rumor.

I just remembered a bubble tweet Adam and Kris did from the Idol tour bus on the way to "New York City" Kris's "who's on top " Sooo funny . Im gonna see if I can find it on Youtube . I wonder if Adam remembers it? They always seemed to be having such a good time .

Never been to NY. But you know what's best about this? 2 years ago, he would never have been able to just jet off to the East Coast for some "time off" and take in a show or do some shopping with his love. Ah, sweet success!

I'd take Sauli out to the statue of Liberty. It had a profound effect on me and it's a meaningful sight when you reflect on what it represents. The theatre always captured my fancy and a taxi ride with an old timer cab driver telling tales with NY humour always gave you the city's flavor. My husband traveled a lot and I frequently would fly to meet him at the end of his business week and we would spend the weekend in NY or other places. One time he was tied up in meetings, sick of making decisions and wanted me to plan the weekend. I wasn't that familiar with the city at that time, so I took a Grayline Tour, seeing Chinatown, the Bowery, etc. and had several tales to tell. We chose where to go with the info I gathered and had a great time. We went to Mama Leone's for a great Italian dinner and there were 3 waiters that kept staring at us. Finally our waiter asked us if we were married. I said yes and he said, "to each other? We looked puzzled and he said that most married couples that they served ate and didn't speak to each other. My husband and I had been laughing and really engaged in conversation. They were so tickled, they bought us a fine bottle of wine and they entertained us with hilarious stories. A great trip, meeting great people! funbunn40

coloforadam - HA HA! I've had that same experience, myself. Think it's a NY rite-of-passage. Always love to see your comments!

I tweeted Adam that he should be sure to see the Alexander McQueen retrospective exhibit at The Met, since he loves that brilliant designer, who so sadly committed suicide. Maybe he already saw the exhibit, though, because the picture of the chair he posted (with the skull) totally looks like an Alexander McQueen creation, or something inspired by him...

funbunn40 - OMG, just read your hilarious story about the dinner w/your husband and the waiters asking if you two were married! Sad commentary, that. From your posts, I bet you would be a pleasure to be with, in person. I bet you're quite the conversationalist - smart, witty, compassionate, engaging... Always love to read your posts.

funnbunn40 I loved your story! I am jealous! You sound very happy! Adamluv and The Dark Side, I also live in N Cali and there are trees here everywhere that change color in the fall. We actually have a lot of trees on our property and I love it when the leaves change.

OT but remember that Brooke is supposed to be getting married somewhere, sometime in the Bay Area and guess who will surely be invited don't you think?!! We will have to try to figure out when and where ha ha! I know there are others of you in Cali but your tags escape me...sorry!

Best $15 worth spent in New York City is to take the backstage tour of the Metropolitan Opera. Even if you're not into opera, it's an amazing behind the scenes view of how they stage this enormous productions involving hundreds of people. They start planning 17 years in advance! A must see for anyone interested in music, period.

WHAT is with this old picture??? I remember thinking at the time he looked great. Loved the interview with Michelle Collins (Martini Minute)

Adam has such a beautiful face but that hair just looks odd now-- like a nice but odd (oh-boy) prom picture! Adam/Liz Taylor look/Minelli-hair blast from the past.... beautiful but stange and outdated now...

@Adamfix and Daydreamin, Thanks so much for your kind words. You two, along with others on this site bring me so much pleasure! I thought I'd go blind going to all of the links that I can't resist, reading comments that made me laugh, touched my soul, gave me new insight and made me think. Best of all we can go on about Adam in a way that our real circles may not get. We're free to be as obsessive as we want to be, because we're all in the same boat, nuts about him! funbunn40
