You would think the producers would have informed Paul that Adam did the song. Oh well Paul seems like a nice guy. He was quirky, but I have to say I will miss his dance moves lol. Adam is losing ground in the top idol vote against Jordin Sparks. That's because some are voting against him and not Jordan fans. I just type in q102 top idol vote adam lambert and follow from there. There is the actual website in the older posts.

adam won this week , now the vote is closed but soon is the 3 th week

I would think that someone trying out for Idol would have watched a recap of the performances of the most recent years. Strange with Adam so popular that Paul did not google his performances as a learning tool..
Oh well, Paul still has a nice smile

Adam also won again( & every mo this year) for Idol of the month on the faxo tweeter poll. It's closed for now.I was gonna start the voting over & go to bed,but can't yet( I'm on the East coast)..Peeps on the West coast, etc, who are gonna be on line a while, please check & see if you can vote in an hr or so,ok?Thanks.

I just watched some of his AI8 performances posted here along with Tracks Of My Tears, still so fresh in my mind, though 2 years ago.
Beautiful Adam, beautiful voice control and vibrato.

I often go back and watch Adam on AI-8. It is not like it is this year, these kids are being produced this year. Adam did his own thing, came up with his own ideas, as he did in "Wicked". The Cherry's said Adam did his own stage settings, dancers, lighting, and how he wanted to sing. The only thing they said no to was when he wanted to use something like a fire hat on his head. Adam is pure artist.

Anon 10:40 - totally agree. Adam is an original with foward-thinking ideas and a vision (of his own), unlike much of what has come before or since.

You would think Paul would've known/seen Adam covering this song - or if not, prior, then at least would've looked it up afterwards, so he didn't come off sounding so igonoartant in this clip (oh yeah, ppl told me Adam killed this song - then I watched it, and damn - were they right!!).

Hey - just have to throw in here...I am not watching AI this season, so I just google'd some of the contestant's performances and - wow - must say I am way more impressed with James Durbin than I expected to be...I only ever heard him sing in his audition, then lost interest.

Honestly, all the past Idol contestants created somewhat their own spins on the songs they picked. Although Adam topped all of them with his performances. This year totally contestants are manufactured. The only contestants that really IMO shows growth is Haley. I love her voice and truly she took a huge huge risk of singing one of Adele's song and I think she did a fabulous job. I find this season boring. A little better than last year. But still boring. Seems Idol tried hard to create buzz with the new judges. New judges really don't do their work. God they get paid millions of dollars. They are there to promote their new album and band. The Voice and X Factor will take over Idol and next season Idol is in big trouble.

"a fire hat on his head" Whoa! Must be really really careful though. Wonder if he'll attempt this in his next concert, once at least. Knowing Adam, he seldom takes no for an answer, well.

My favorites on Idol are James and Haley. Maybe they will be the last two standing. I hear the bookies are favoring Scotty, don't know for sure.Anyone can win look what happened in Adam's year.eeek.

Liam McEwan's "The Flea Radio" Adam Lambert Podcasts

For those who missed Liam McEwan of The Flea Radio in New Zealand this weekend (Sunday in New Zealand, but Saturday afternoon Pacific Daylight Time in the US..), here are the links (below) for the Podcasts..in three parts via twaud.io [For those who don't know what this means: Liam is a young man that works for this radio station and who hosts "Adam Lambert Hour" every weekend lately on this radio station.]

He also debuted songs by Scarlett Cherry (from her Labor of Love album), Alisan Porter, and Cassidy Haley. (The first link covers these..)

The theme of this week's show was songs that Adam wrote or co-wrote, from his Citizen Vein band with Monte, to his Zodiac Days, right up to his current music from the Glam Nation Tour. Liam also encouraged fans to tweet requests to him and even asked fans to help find some of the performances. Really fun! Rather like a global love fest for Adam Lambert and Friends! (And pretty amazing that this 15 year old young man put this all together..great guy)

I have to say that when I early on read an interview with Paul in which he admitted never watching the show before OR after he auditioned, I lost respect for and interest in him because -- to be frank -- that is so stupid,I can't wrap my mind around it. I could tell that the guy wasn't interested in winning the show or coming in near the top. I'm all for using every opportunity to advance yourself, but why bother trying half-assed? And his later complaints about not liking to sing covers? Call the Waaaahmbulance. The show IS all about covers. Period. It's like someone taking a job at the vet's office because they like animals and then complaining that they had to handle poop. Guess what? You knew that when you signed up, so shut up. Or you would.... if you ever bothered to watch the show.

I don't watch AI, but I heard today that Haley had sung Blondie's Call Me. It's a classic and I love it, but it's not Haley's type of song at all. Every time I hear Haley sing Lena Zavaroni comes to my mind, singing Mama he's making eyes at me.
