boy I sure forgot alot in two years. I don't know hardly any of those contestants.

GAWD he looks fab fresh scrubbed sans make up. Oh, and that hair, that smile, those perfect teeth, those eyes that show so much better w/out eyeliner.

Don't hit me. That's just my opinion. I work in cosmetics, and it is generally known that light eyes do not need so much to stand out. A little goes a long way or the makeup overpowers the look. On stage, it's fine, and I think that's where Adam lays it on thick.

It's all good. Such a beautiful man in every way.

Yeah, he is all grown up.But the beautiful smile that made me fall in love instantly, plus the voice is and always will still be there. He has accomplished so much even through adversity and will continue to grow and we'll all be there for this exciting ride. Wow I got a tear in my eye just remembering the excitement of watching his journey on AI and beyond.

Adam has matured a lot in the very best way. Sometimes I find him still has this childlike innocent look especially when he smile. Each age stage is the beginning of some wonderful journey in life. Lots of men still wandering around when they are 30 but not Adam. He is smart and beautiful and full of love.

Season 8 seems so long ago, but it brought Adam Lambert to us with his superb vocal talent. He is probably the most versatile performer to have appeared on AI because as we all know, Adam can sing anything from Broadway tunes to rock. You see that fresh, innocent, handsome face and that endearing smile. He had me at the first note he sang at the audition. We have seen a number of changes in Adam since then on his way to superstardom. He seems to know exactly who he is, what he wants, and how to get there. And we were there at the beginning of his journey as he has become one of the most talented vocalists in the music industry today.

Oh that sweet fresh scrubbed face! It melted my heart on Idol and still does, the eyeliner and foundation not so heavy. Now he seems much older, man of the world, but still the boyish playfulness is there with every captivating smile! Wow- I've never missed an episode of idol in 10 years and don't remember any of these people with adam. Adam what have you done to me lol

In first picture in front of Adam is Scott MacIntyre (curly hair) he was on Idol tour with Adam.......nice note, after he was voted off Paula arranged for him to receive a guide dog, since he was visually impaired. Pretty sweet of her.Scott is now engaged.

In last picture another finalist Matt Giraud is still playing his piano and performing....none of the others pictured were finalists......JAK

I'm so mad to myself not following AI 8 two years ago. As I said before, heard on the news about the shocking result. I remember that so well. And that Adam looked so different than anyone before. Then the AMA news. And then beginning of year 2010 Adam came into my life like a tornado! I fell in love with this lovely being! Here we go. I'm totally hooked. Therefore it is somewhat weird to look at those "old" pics of Adam. You all others are like lovers who had a relationship with Adam one year before me. Sigh. Sanni

Only ones I knew were Scott and Matt since they both went on the Adam Lambert Idol Tour. LOL!

I still remember all the Season 8 tour group, but tested myself back to when I started watching. Season 6 only remember Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis and Melinda Doolittle. Season 7 The Davids--Cook and Archuleta, Jason Castro and Brooke White. Season 9 Crystal Bowersox and Lee the oh so wooden winner.

Of all those I've only bought albums of Brookes and Crystal and of course The Adored One Adam.

JAK - You mentioned David Cook. When he performed on Idol this past Thursday I was so glad to see that he had finally joined the Men's Hair Club. He looks great with thick short hair. Too bad he started off so "pitchy" on his song.

Adam is so handsome and gorgeous no matter what look he gives us.

Why is when some of the former AI winners or contestants come to perform on the show, they sound so shaky, pitchy, just off key? David Cook did not start out so great on his new song the other night. The only one who made a good impression was Adam Lambert upon his return and he did not even win during season 8 as we all know. Some people say that Katy Perry was lip synching during her ET performance with Kanye(what was that with the fur vest?). And what is so special about that song? Because so many of them have their songs auto-tuned with all that electronic stuff, and then have these backup dancers jumping and gryrating all over the stage, they just can't perform live and do a good job at all. They seem to be more style than substance in most instances. Right now, just give me Adam and Adele; both are dynamic singers who bring soul and self confidence to their songs. And I really don't have a vested interest in any of this season's Top 11 down to six. I don't think I would buy their CD and I wonder how the group will do during the Idol tour this summer as far as ticket sales. Adam Lambert just has the talent, stage presence,the ability to connect to the audience...the "IT" factor that has made him such a success since Idol. He is the most talented vocalist in the music industry today as far as I am concerned along with all his devoted fans.
