Claude Kelly, who worked with Adam Lambert on his debut single "For Your Entertainment" revealed in a new interview that he is back in the studio with Adam, making pop music.

"I’m also back in the studio Adam Lambert on the Pop side, Kelly Clarkson – working with her again. Some country music with Martina McBride. I’m keeping myself busy, a bunch of UK artists, I’m working with Olly Murs again for his new album, I hope I can get back with Jessie again."

I love that Adam works with top names and also includes his friends..like Alisan....such a sweetheart...

Since I am almost completely ignorant of pop music, I had never heard of Claude Kelly other than as connected with FYE. However the info above was quite a coincidence....re..Martina McBride. Yesterday when my computer was mute, I did a lot of reading.....family research kind of stuff (love that and there's a lot of it) and was surprised to find Martina's husband, John McBride and I are related. Small world and a whole lot of McBrides in it!

Kelly seems to work with quite a variety of artists, hope he and Adam cook up something special. Waiting for this album to be "born" is
a test of endurance........I find myself wishing the weeks and months away and at my age I shouldn't be doing that!!!! ........... JAK

@JAK

Yes it is hard waiting for this album! How exciting ew youe connections - maybe you can use this to get an introduction to Adam. LOL

I am excited about the david Bowie rumour going around - that is Bowie was seen in same area as our boy in Florida - could be coincidence. Bowie has been my idol since I can remember and I thought no one would join him on that pedestal but AL sits up there with him now for me. This would be my ultimate dream for Bowie to work with him and recognise his talent. Please God if there is any justice let this be true..

It is hard, from the grammar used, to understand what Mr. Kelly is saying. Is he meaning he's also back in the studio with Adam Lambert on the Pop side. OR, is he saying he also back in the studio with Adam Lambert. On the pop side, he's working with Kelley Clarkson.

@5:37 I know what you mean. I read it as he is working with Adam on the pop side. Hoping its an amazing song. @JAK I too have been wishing the time to pass quickly, which is not usually my nature especially in the summer. I have never been so excited to hear new music!!!

Each day, my pulse runs faster, just waiting for this new album to come out! I can feel the excitement rise on the sites I visit. Hopefully, when the day comes, they'll be a buying frenzy!

hmm...I read it the other way. On the pop side, Kelly Clarkson. On the country side, Martina McBride.
Either way, I'm sure it will be stellar with all the time Adam is putting into this one.

@Loulou, if an ultimate dream to come true for Adam , I hope it is for Adam & David Bowie to meet & to collaborate. Rather than a duet with CAguilera. I always believe things happen for a reason, & though we feel it would be greatly deserving for Adam to meet his most highly respectable icon, only the higher powers of the universe will know this. I truly believe also, that our beloved Adam deserves this opportunity, .& I hope that David Bowie hears the same magical voice that we hear & love so much! Mwah!! K

Adam is still very busy with his new album, which is prolly one of several reasons that Sauli went back to Finland for a few weeks. He did mention that he doesn't have any friends of his own over here.Adam new he would be gone to the studio a lot, so not much for Sauli to do, it was OK when he was doing the Roadshow, he will be busier when his new radio show starts in August. Sure hope Sauli can get his life filled working and still be with Adam.There was a rumor about the Tutka show continuing with Katri, Sauli said he would like that.

I saw David Cook interviewed the other day and he mentioned he only had 4 months to put together his first album after his AI win. On his new album he took much, much longer because he wanted to get it just right. Adam only had 3 months to put together FYE, most of it during the AI tour. For that amount of time, I think it was a spectacular first album. Now he also is taking his time to work on this second album so it is exactly what he wants it to be. I know all his fans are waiting anxiously for it some time this fall. Hopefully he will release the first single earlier as most performers seem to be doing lately. And if Adam gets the opportunity to work with his idol David Bowie, that would be so great for him and for all of us. Only time will tell.

This is a fabulous post from Adam Official by the man, J.D. Boucharde who accompanied Adam on the keyboards on Father's Day in San Diego. (He's a friend of Eber's..) An a new (and smitten) fan of Adam....Can you imagine being there!

Re: Interview With J.D.Boucharde Adam Sang With Him On Father's Day
Hey friends:
I'm JD, the guy from the piece. Thank you for posting this page, and alerting me! I hadn't even seen the original article yet: the paper version comes out tomorrow.
Frankly, I was a little disappointed: when I contacted my friend over at the San Diego Reader and e-mailed him a thumbnail of the story, I said several things in the note I would've preferred he hadn't printed (i.e., my dislike of television, and the fact that I thought maybe people-- other than non-hardcore fans such as yourselves, that is-- may not know who he is anymore). Made me sound a little, uh. . . snippy, maybe? That silly rivalry crap between creative humans that always seems to make the papers?
Just the opposite. Adam was warm, friendly, open, and presented such a loving presence about him. No ego, just an all-around great guy. When I asked him if he wanted to sing, I sorta figured he'd probably say no: like singing at a little podunk bar was not as cool as what he was used to. And I totally would've understood. But he responded: "Sure!"
And I wasn't exaggerating about folks' reactions. They were stunned. I said his name, and the place got quiet, like they thought I was putting them on. He walked up, and men and women alike were standing there with their mouths hanging open, like they still couldn't believe what they were seeing. I started playing "Mad World," and, taking the mic, he said: "Slow it down a little bit." I did. "A little more." And he friggin' NAILED it: every high note right on the money. Finished, and the place erupted like it was U2 at the Coliseum.
Anyway, registering and logging in here, I was bracing myself for his fans'--YOUR-- reactions to this non-TV watching, I-wonder-if-people-still-know-who-he-is musician. But everyone here at the site was very cool, and your responses to the article were sincere.
One last thing, as a testament to Adam, the human. After he got done singing, this one really drunk guy started harassing him: hugging him, talking loud in his face, etc. At one point, he was hugging him from the back, definitely without his permission. Gay or not, SO not appropriate. If it were me, I think I woulda clocked the guy, and I'm Mr. Staunch Non-Violence by trade. Adam told him to back off, but didn't react as harshly as he certainly had the right to. A minute or two later, he waved a goodbye to everyone, and was gone.
Though I'm friends with his dad and stepmom, I may never see him again. But it was enough to meet him once to know that he's more than just a talented musician. He's a class guy, and I wish him the deepest blessings in his future creative endeavors. Just know there's one more Adam fan in the world tonight.
Peace and love to you.

Thank you for that piece by JD! It was great to read that.
(I remember the startled look on Adam's face when Kris leaped to give him a hug from behind after the finals)

@Glitzylady

We can always count on you for up to the minute news! What a great story. Thank you! Adam...always a class act.

@JAK

I am connected to Adam in the same way you are! I have a casual friend who is friends with a woman who is very good friends with Leila and, of course, knows Adam! It's like 3 degrees of separation...and I can't seem to close that gap. LOL. So close, yet so far away. :)

There's a small chance that Bowie would not duet with Adam because Adam is a much better vocalist.
Maybe something live but not on an album, altho people would really eat it up on an album. I hope they do meet though.

I'm in Canada and my hairdresser's husband works in LA as a hairdresser whose friends are in Adam's circle. She was a little taken aback by how excited I got when I heard this haha. How many degrees of separation is that.. yes, so far away.

Sister....so close you're practically breathing down his neck!....Now there's a thought!..JAK

Glitzylady....we should pay you a "finder's fee" you find out and share so much Adam news that keeps us going through slow days....Merci...JAK

J.D. Boucharde.....you have no idea how happy it makes us everytime someone praises Adam!!^o^

Now, in regard to David Bowie, I am sure that he has been made aware that Adam is a great fan of his.....the question is..?..has he ever been known to mentor another artist? I have no idea, nor do I know how long it's been since he recorded, I doubt he ever plans to again. So the idea of a duet is definitely out....he doesn't need money or fame, he's got it all!

BUT....just maybe he might be interested in meeting an up and comer and giving a bit of advice. That would be a dream come true for Adam. Let's hope for that!!!!JAK

@Glitzylady-Thank you so much for the excellent review by JD! I love hearing about Adam getting new fans and new respect. I can just imagine how I would feel in that bar when it was announced Adam Lambert would perform! I think I would stop breathing altogether. A performance like that from our sweet Adam would truly be a life altering experience! No one but Adam Lambert could sing like that just on the fly. I can just imagine what it was like!
Wow! how truly awesome for all the people there!
Love and Peace,
