Sasha is such a cutie! Hey Glamily! The Space Needle people have changed their mind and WILL FlY the flag on Pride Day for Pride Parade in Seattle. Thanks to all the help here. They got thousands of votes, so to save face they proposed this: If the community raised $50,000, they would fly the flag and split the $50,ooo raised to 4 gay charities (the Trevor Project that Adam donated to was one of them). So we did it !!

Sasha puts so much into her dancing. I watched it again. I think dancers have to be able to act..just as a great singer does, too. That is what is so stirring about Adam's performances. I cry with him, laugh with him. He allows us to feel what he is singing to us...like he is singing to us individually! Ok...
As for the $ for the Space Needle flag...it has already been raised! I really don't know what happened, but this is what I think. When I saw the comments to keep the flag FROM flying, they were so homophobic and hateful, and then there were comments FOR the flag that were so honest and heartfelt...like the ones people at this site would send, that I think "they" had to come up with something so that the flag would be flown. That is my story, and I'm sticking to it.

There's a lot of support here....our love for Adam has introduced a lot of people to the need for equal rights for gays and lesbians.

OT...@lmb, So thrilled! I voted and then became discouraged, but look what happens when people band together and act! Each single person can make a difference. Another victory and you do so much, lmb! The proposition to arrest and execute gays in Uganda was also stayed because of people caring to vote! Better days are coming. I also was so supportive of the civil rights movement when it wasn't popular to do so, but in a small way, changed some minds, feeling I made a small difference, even one person opening their mind is an accomplishment. I notice more exposure and less caracatures of gays in the media also, or maybe I'm just more aware because of Adam and this site. Good work funbunn40

SYTYCD stated this tuesday here in Sweden so it will be a challenge for me avoiding the spoilers.
I think there are lot of god dancers this season. The first one Melanie Moore from Marietta Georgia was so fantastic I couldn´t believe it. This is truly my favourite show and I´m looking forward to many amazing tuesdays.
I don´t watch AI this season.

I really look forward to this show for my summer entertainment. Yesterday I dusted off my VHS tape I add to each year with my favorites.....all the way back to Benjie, Stitch,Jeanne, Sacha, Dimitri, Lacey, Jacob and of course Travis who now choregraphs for them a lot. Those plus many others....when I need a dance fix I pull out that tape and watch it. Now Sasha is on it and the Broadway ready guy Jess!

Since I'm an old coot I'm a sucker for any one who reminds me of Bob Fosse, Gene Kelly or Gwen
Verdon.....the physical strength and dedication of dancers is inspiring, to torture your body like they do they REALLY want it!!!.......JAK

Adam seems enormously happy with Sauli. How amazing is that?

But seeing Travis Wall choreographing Sasha, made me wistfully remember back when Travis was openly expressing his admiration for Adam, post-AI. I had a fantasy that they might make an incredible couple. Adam's voice, Travis' dancing and choreography... what a creative bonanza... and Travis is short, blonde and gorgeous... totally Adam's type!

Ah well. The world keeps turning, and Sauli and Adam are in love! All's well that ends well. So please forgive me this moment of self-indulgence. :)

I tried for 2 solid hours to vote for sasha last night and all I got was a busy signal, couldn't get through. Did anyone else have this problem?

There are a lot of great dancers on the show. But to be honest, the routine that moved me the most was Travis Wall's statue dance with Melanie and Marko. Did anyone else like it?

Sasha has some strong kicks and and visual connection through audience. She picked up a lot of goodies from Adam's GNC. The dance world is very tough and hope she get to the final.

@6:48 Yes, I thought the statue dance by Melanie and Marko was amazing plus the costumes and make-up were fantastic. When I saw Melanie's audition I actually taped it so I could save it to watch again and again. So Melanie and, of course, our beautifully talented Sasha, are my two favorite girl dancers on the show. Really tough competition this season.

The stress is killing me! So thrilled for Sasha and It's like rooting for one of my kids! The competition is so fierce and strong, I don't want any of them cut! The physical punishment they endure for such beautiful, controlled movement is inspiring.I noticed Melanie at the audition.Her dance with Marko is hard to beat. Watching Sasha dance gave me chills just like I experienced when i first heard Adam sing on Idol. Hope she goes far in the competition. She is an amazon princess. I think that is how Nigel described her.

Just like Adam, who so wisely surrounds himself with talented and NICE people, Sasha has such a great personality and SYTYCD has noticed that and has featured Sasha so much this year, which gives her a certain edge as well. I am just so thrilled for her and hope she wins because she deserves to, although the talent level on that show this season is just unreal...She is definitely getting MY vote, and those of my family.

I was so excited to see Sasha on this show this season (Season 8 coincidentally..) . I was lucky enough to meet her in Hawaii in Oct. at an after party connected to the GNT, and she is just as beautiful and sweet in person as well, and it was so nice that she was willing to come out to meet some fans. Adam really knows how to pick the winners! In addition to being a fabulous singer/human being in his own right, he could have a very successful future as a talent scout..so if this singing career thing doesn't work out......(kidding...) ; )

I am waiting for a song for sasha- I have it already picked out- Soaked- She would be amazing with that- They are playing mars, gaga, ect they have to play BB's song somewhere in this competition- does anyone else feel the thrill when every performer takes the stage- It just might be an adam song- I know I do.

I've watched every season of SYTYCD and I'm always choosing music and choregraphing in my brain...........this early in the season I have, naturally, been concentrating on Adam and the little pixie Sasha. In my mind I've seen her dance to Broken Open............and she was sensational!!!!!
