What happened? I'm gone for 10 days and the Adam World has turned DARK! C'est Moi! JAK !
I have been suffering the most dreadful withdrawal pains. DELL-A was lousy with viruses and my personal geek squad had to strip her completely......she has now been returned to me, once more a virgin! All my hundreds of favorites are gone.....sob!......I lost all my silly poems and my very most favorite Adam photo and performance collection. I will rebuild!

So, what's new? Are Adam and Sauli still an item or has The Bachman Clinic prayed away Adam's gay and he is now dating Kelly Clarkson?
.......I have been forced to revert to my political TV channels and therefore have been pulling out large clumps of my fluffy white hair.
Sorry to play politics but when the convention arrives in Tampa next year, I'm leaving town for a week or so!!!
.......I have missed everyone terribly and will be busy going back and "catching up". I didn't worry about Adam, I knew he was in good hands, so to speak!

New Interview in "InRock" magazine (August-2011) from Japan: Talks about album, etc.. Nice! Here's the translation and the link.

Interview by Yuko Kato/INROCK, over the phone, June 28, 2011 (LA, USA) Summary: - Adam will probably come to Japan next year - He has been working on his second album for three months now - He has already recorded 25 songs or so - The album will probably be completed in October (or around that time) - The second album will be more "personal" (not just about himself but about everyone) - All the tracks of the second album will be the songs he wrote (he'll write all the songs) - He's been able to spend a lot more time for this second album, both for writing the songs and recording the vocals - The second album will be more realistic, closer to the earth (than FYE, which was kind of "in the universe") - "Working with Christina Aguilera" was just a rumor, it's Adam Levine who's been working with her - About Adam Levine, Adam thinks Levine just didn't know the song (so no bad feelings). Fans might have over-reacted a little, but he appreciates their being supportive. - FYE was really theatrical so GNT was theatrical, homage to glam-rock in the 70s, 80s, a love letter to his favorite artists such as David Bowie or Boy George. The second album will be more current, rather than retro. - Being asked about Adele, he says that his album will have more electronic sound than hers. What she inspires him most is the way she reminds him that it's "voice" that's the most important. She just proves it by her singing. That's what people want from her. She doesn't need any sound-effects, beats, or special synthesizers to reminds him of the strength of a song. She does it by valuing the emotions in her voice, the quality of it, the atmosphere of it. Her voice is incredible. - In response to the interviewer's "Oh, everyone thinks YOUR voice is incredible", he says "thank you".

As you read older threads you'll see you were much missed, and we were just a teensy bit concerned, but were rather assuming it was a "Dell-A" problem..So sorry you've lost all of your good Adam stuff...I would be ticked for sure..Enjoy catching up..Its been a little slow, but is picking up a little bit again..Welcome back!

Adam wrote ALL the songs on his second album?! I thought he was collaborating with all these big name people. I hope there are some catchy enough for the radio and club crowd. He really doesn't have extensive experience as a songwriter.. but he does have a lot of talent so we'll cross our fingers!

Thank you for your Welcome Backs! Even my husband was glad to see my daughter walk in with my computor this morning.....I had become rather cranky. Before I went to get DELL-A settled in on the desk by my bed, my sweet old geezer gave me a big hug and kiss and said "don't forget me, I'm just one room over on the left!" Thank you for the translation re: the article in InRock Magazine from Japan. Sounds like it was a good interview and there is always a new bit of information we learn from most interviews. I didn't know Adam had written 25 songs and recorded them. He's usually co-writing songs, I believe from what he said, his specialty is writing lyrics.

I really can't wait to see what he has created for us...he's such a talent in so many respects.

Hi! I have been lectured by son in law on going off of main sites, you know the little ones that branch off and branch off....that's where the bad guys hide viruses!!!! DELL-A was darn near comatose. Viruses don't seem to be interested in me.....for which I'm grateful.

I agree with you completely, what fun and info we'd miss if glitzylady wasn't on top of Adam!!!

OT... @Fan4fun, Still thinking of you and wish I was there to give you some TLC! This week it was my oldest daughter's turn with many tests, but nothing so far that can't be treated. Does Quico, 19yr old "golden boy" still have the summer part time job? It had to be hard, being raised by the state, but glad he can be who he authentically is and hope he won't suffer any more prejudice from employers or anyone else.Is he still living with you? Nelio really has had a painful life with his family's cruel rejection. Ignorance can be powerfully destructive. Glad for his sake he's away from their island. Hope it's not convenient to get to. Any more news about his sister and dog coming to live with you? It might give you financial help if they are all working and sharing expenses for awhile, but peace and stress is really important for you too. Icon and you may be in the panic room if it gets too crowded and crazy! It's frustrating to not be well and have to deal with employment issues and all that entails. You have a gift for writing. Maybe you could write a humerous cooking column for the Island paper, if there is one and be paid by the piece, or think of your other talents that may spark an idea for now, until you get stronger. My earlier days had challenges and when I thought it couldn't get any worse, someone or something gave me the push to keep on and there always was a ray of light. I just had to be open and aware of it. Keep up the fight and never give up. My daughters when young, got so tired of me saying, "This will make you a stronger person!" I got many eye rolls and now it's a family joke. Your humour is your best strength. Let it shine and give you power. {Sorry other 24/7 peeps for using this Adam site to post so long, but know you all also care. JAK - we totally missed your fiestiness! Figured it was another virus. I couldn't go 10 days w/o Adam. I am on vacation the last week of this month and will be squinting into my Droid X screen each night to get caught up. I brightened my screen up to the limit but all I could see of Adam were his arms, and gorgeous arms they certainly are. <3 I could hear fans calling out to him - what a joy to see him in the audience at the same time as they were.

Many thanks for the translation of the Japanese article glitzylady. Adam said he's collaborating with other artists on his 2nd album so I guess the Japanese media got that wrong. Then again, things sometimes get mixed-up in translation.

I like long posts (comments, whatever) that's why I enjoy this site, we talk to each other and in this tiny space are neighbors. I'm concerned about Fan4fun's health as well as tess4ADAM. I know what a blessing it is to be able to "visit" even on a bad, flat on your back day!

Well JAK, welcome back, and thanks for insight Fan4fun. Think things are pretty desperate when happy to see an Adam video you cannot see, but can hear others talking about seeing Adam. We are definitely at the disadvantage here. As for my part of the Country, west coast, nothing much going on, even Adam ran off. Well we do have the weekend here with very nice cool weather for a change. Ha! I am finally talking about the weather. Can it get any more boring?

I love the banter and connection made by those who are here often. It has become a "community" of posters. As you said @JAK, like neighbors. I like that a lot. For some who may not be here frequently, some of the more "personal" posts may seem out of place. But for those who are here more often it is the conversation of "neighbors", just checking in, concerned when we have not heard from someone in a while, wanting the best for each other and sharing our love for all things Adam. It's a good neighborhood and I like my neighbors just the way they are. :)

I would like to suggest that the only rule that we have here on 24/7 would be to post with kindness. All other rules I would likely break anyway! LOL
