@ SAD AL Adam is not losing his popularity. Look how his twitter followers increase daily. It's been two years since AI so of course this years contestants fanbase are going to vote more. The polls are great for keeping Adam in the minds eye, just as it is great for Durbin.
It's not all about sales, Sad Al. Adam is doing great. He's got passionate fans, and because he's soooo nice and because he's soooo talented, his fan base will inevitably grow.
We should all learn from Adam to keep your eye on the prize. Optimism is one of Adam's greatest qualities, and a quality of most of his fans, I'd say.
