The Hot Air Balloon (St-Jean) show last year was much closer to Montreal, hence the incredible 75,000 people on hand that night. To go to Ste-Agathe in the Laurentians, you have to travel quite a distance from Montreal. It's a small town (beautiful but small). It's therefore also incredible that Adam's show attracted so many people!! It was magic, even when the skies opened (have never, ever been in such a downpoor).

@ Shiggles

Thanks, haven't seen that one for awhile. I hold regular Elvis concert days when I need a boost. Elvis and I were born the same year and here I am still loving his music long after he is gone....thank God for recording devices and film!........JAK

Out Laws of Love, is such a beautiful song that Adam wrote. I interpute as being gay and running from the law always. I am so proud of you Adam just keep on struting and keep on the right track. Stay true to your roots. Don't let all of this fame and fortune get to your head. So far so good Adam. A fan forever.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane with the timeless, sensuous Elvis that raised the bar so high for all until Adam! These two men are the epitome of sex appeal, fan loyalty, amazing talent and absolute animal magnetism. I think in time Adam will like Elvis be revered and honored for all time. Elvis had to go thru' much discrimination and hateful obstacles put in his way. His records were smashed and burned, wasn't allowed to be photographed from the waist down, was barred from playing certain venues and was considered pornographic and da dangerous influence on young girls! Preposterous and ridiculous as what's assumed incorrectly about gays. An unwarranted fear that to this day, defies logic. Eventually, Elvis rose above the idiocy and people accepted and loved him, unfortunately to the expense of his freedom to live in public and became a prisoner of his fame. funbunn40

Thanks Shiggles. I love "black outfit" Elvis. I have that whole TV performance on an "8 track" somewhere when it was replayed years later. A lot of good it does me now. Thank goodness for technology.

So amazing. Would also be amazing if Adam covered some of his songs. Can you imagine?

Also a long time Elvis fan, so totally get the reference. Outlaws of Love is the Romeo and Juliet song talked about. It could mean any couple who aren't readily accepted by their peers. What a message!

Elvis played Las Vegas in 1956 at the New Frontier, he was fired half way thru his 4 week booking....audience didn't like him and reviewer said he was a "bore".

Hard to imagine.....but he didn't go back to Vegas for 13 years! Oh,what they missed!....JAK

@ 4:10 AM

In early days for Elvis it was the teenagers who were his fans...they weren't allowed in casinos so the audience was a group of middle aged people who just wanted to get back to tables or slot machines....as for the reviewer he just didn't "get it"!......JAK
