I'm not a fan of the song. I like Adam's solo stuff better....I didn't' like 'Want' and the pre-idol stuff either. So i'll be waiting for Adam's REAL first single.

I think Adam got caught in an uncomfortable spot on this one and decided to just go with it instead of raise a ruckus. Not a great song IMO, but if you listen hard, you can kind of hear Adam's voice.

Alright then, it's a go per Adam! I'm buying on iTunes....great beat for dancing/exercising or just moving! I don't think this can compete with Adam's 2nd CD and the first single that will be released since everything we've heard about it sounds amazing but this helps tide me over the "dry spell" for right now.

I love over produced autotune songs and I love this remix. Use it to do your house chores or exercise. It'll help you lose weight and make your house chores less stressful. Just don't use it when using heavy machinery. You might hurt yourself hearing Adam's voice. LOL!

1:19 As far as I know this is July and Adam's album as last reported is to drop in November. That's 4 months away. Anyone who listens to this and likes it can do whatever they want. Buy it or not. Like it or not. Their business, not mine, not yours. But I guess you're the attorney on this site, so you know best.

It's obvious that ADAM is HONORING an agreement that he made with J Scott a couple years back so why not buy it if you like it or even if you don't like it & help ADAM to fulfill this obligation? IF we his fans 'requested' that he do so? Do you think he just might relent & do it? I sure wish I could get an album of all those Wonderful songs ADAM did before Idol .. but with much better sound quality ... any thoughts on this?

I don't think you all read the tweet clearly or completely. Did you notice #manifestation? Adam is very articulate. One of the meanings of the word is appearance of a disembodied spirit, in other words, a ghost!

That song is a ghost from his past, not exactly a ringing endorsement. Perhaps something that has come back to haunt him.

And @ tess4ADAM I am not Dinah-mite, but I would also like those pre-idols, however he was asked if there was a possibility of releasing the Citizen Vein songs and he said "No, that's not where I am today."

Live the Life is also not where he is today, but he is honoring a commitment.

Firstly as much as we dont seem to think so Adam did have a life before "we" discovered him on Idol and part of that life was the recording of the crappy Take One, where Adam has said he was asked to sing like some one else. Also part of this life was Citizen Vein, and this Live the Life, its not my type of Music but Adam has had a long journey discovering what people want from him and what he likes himself. and so there is usually something in all this for everyone, I ll take
what he gives not what everyone thinks they have a right to tell him what to give.
It seems from the tweet that to buy Live the Life on itunes is perfectly fine.

Just to get back to the Live the Life itunes download, after reading Adams tweet then following the word manifestation at the end, maybe it does appear that he is just "going with it" with out really endorsing it, but honouring a commitment as some one has already said. I hope RCA doesnt get all narky about it.

So, before everyone has to rehash , on this thread, the whole saga and evolution of this from start to finish again, go back to the previous thread and read the info I posted there, about Adam's part in this song. Start by opening the link to the MJSBIGBLOG story about the song over two years ago, that Adam co-wrote and asked this man to produce.. Then read the statements by J. Scott G. That says he and Adam have an agreement to split the profits 50/50, etc.. Either buy it or don't, its that simple. As someone said, its not that deep.

Manifestation also means: evidence of something; reality; indication of reality. So Adam must mean this collaboration was real and he really did co-write the song. I think he is okay with us buying the track on iTunes. He's probably in a Catch 22 situation and making the best out of it.

It's just one song, Adam's fine with it and may get compensated, his personal business, btw. He also may want to have a remix relationship with J.Scott in the future, so not a big deal, if Adam's fine with it,and you like it, buy it, if not, don't. "It's not that deep!" To me manifestation means something that is great and wonderful was revealed today. Like manifestation of God for example. God is great and wise but we feel his manifestation in nature or universe etc. Just giving an example. Live The Life is a project which Adam did in the past and it manifested itself now. It's not a bad thing, IMO. Something Adam did in the past and he owns it and he is proud of it. Now it might not be what he would like to put on his album but he is proud of what he did in the past which is manifested today. JMO

Those same comments from J Scott G and his rep are also all here on 24/7 in the previous thread. I know because I posted them. No need to go to Adamtopia. Perhaps those same comments were deleted on Adam Official because it is an RCA/19 Entertainment sponsored site and Live The life is not a Sony/19 Entertainment sanctioned song. No profit for them. Just a thought. I don't really know one way or the other.

Seems like time to think of other more important things, like Adam's actual upcoming new album, and the concert in Quebec, and the very exciting thought that Suz526 will indeed be there! My only regret is that I'm not going to be there! : (

How can people call this crap, it may not suit your taste and you don't have to buy but a lot of people may like it. It doesn't matter whether this is made on a limited budget or what, I know Adam has put 100% in it and is a part of his history with his voice . I just bought it in Canada to show my support. Love his crazy upbeat vocal.

The way I look at it is if a nonpromoted just soso song can go up the charts on itunes under electronic music, believe # 13. Just imagine what his next real single will do with promotion and knowing it will be great. I look at this as showing us how much people want to hear Adam's music, past or present. It is everyone's individual choice whether to purchase Live your Life or not. I myself have not decided yet.

It's at #3 on iTunes Electronic and #235 overall. WOW! This is without any promotion just word of mouth and internet. Adam is a superstar indeed. Well this guy better be honest and give 50% of it's profit to Adam. Otherwise, hmmm.... he'll hear the wrath of Adam's fans.

Yes undoubtedly this guy is an opportunist, but he kept his word apparently if this article is to be believed. Just wondered why he waited to release unless that was part of their contractual arrangement. Isn't Adam's new single coming out next month? Least it's not like Katy Perry and Gaga who seem to release something every other day.

I think RCA is threaten by this. RCA gives only 10% to the artist. This is something Adam did on his own with an indie recording company. Making 50% is a lot. Imagine if this sells over one million, Adam can make a lot of money. Since it's a remix probably it will sell 20,000 max. overall, IMO.

@6:25 I see things totally different than what you see. If it was something that the guy was taking advantage of Adam we would hear his rant about this on twitter. It's all good. I think we should all support this since it's profit margin is much higher than RCA.

I checked out some of the non-fan blogs having this posted and they all love it. It's moved to #2 in less than 15 minutes. Let's be honest this song sounds really good. Teenagers dig it. Teenage fans made videos on this song. It'll be epic if it goes viral.

Artists work really hard. Tour takes a lot out of them. Meeting strangers and all the production and what not. Sleeping in bus for months. Working in studios for countless hours. At the end to see Corps. giving you only 10%. Nobody wants this. Adam made a name for himself and this old song is moving up the charts without any promotion and even his fans aren't doing much. As we see on this site and on twitter fans are bickering about the song. But the song is moving up on iTunes cause it's Adam Lambert's. You little old song hope you go viral to show the music world how great of an artist Adam Lambert is even before stepping on stage of T.V. Reality show. ILHSFM!!!

I don't think they get only 10% for doing a tour. All the artists say this is where the big money is for them, not on i-tunes or cd's or dvd's. Adam will make money for his album, but nothing like he will earn on a tour, if he sells out at the venues.

Artists can make a lot of money if the album sale is around in 5-6 millions nowadays , much better if they write their own songs. This is why Adam cowrites every songs in his coming CD.

@8:45 usually tours have big sponsors. Adam didn't have any sponsors for his GNT. Tour expenses were out of his own pocket. Venues, musicians, dancers, tech. guys behind the scene, etc. etc. I don't know if that left him much at the end. But for sure it wasn't 50%.

I am sure Adam makes good money he also gets an advance for each album and that gets higher the more albums he does. Plus he will get royalties from the music he wrote and is writing. I also am sure he made money of his tour it generated alot of money plus merchandise

Well, I guess I have to eat my words on this one. I'll probably wind up loving this song despite myself. Anyway, GO ADAM! Anything that gets that voice out there to new fans is ok by me.

Well this song is what it is - part of his past -and it is his past which has helped him get where he is today. Maybe he does just recognise this and is honouring this.

It is okay song but not an indication of where he is now. Hope most people will get this. If it is doing so well now then it is an indication of how popular this man is and that his new stuff is going to blow the rooftops off!!! That is all good news to me.

Why buy an inferior piece of "music" just because it features Adam Lambert when he was less discriminate about his choices? How is that doing him any favors? Wait for the real thing, the album that he is actually allowed to take his time doing. I doubt Adam had much choice regarding this release. You note he isn't really encouraging anyone buying it and he hasn't said anything else about it since. Compare the sound on this release to ANY of the songs on FYE, and well, there is NO comparison.

It only cost $1 to buy one song or few dollars to purchase the whole album. Fans like me would like to own a piece of Adam's past to fulfill our desire towards him. It is not just about the music, it is about Adam's legacy being unroll in front of our eyes. Stop downgrading any music that Adam made, let fans make their own choice without being justified. It is not that deep!!!

Inferior?? In what way? Just because it is not to your liking doesn't necessarily make it inferior. Last I heard it was 'blowing up' the charts at iTunes ... doesn't sound too 'inferior' to me. I don't deem anything ADAM sings as 'inferior' ... it is a remix & I realize not everyone likes remixes ... but 'inferior'? ... not in any way .. shape .. or form can it be called that! Can't let you go was also on the UK version. I got my brother to send me one out when it was released.

Glambox version - $122.00 on Amazon - yeah, I'm gonna run right out and order that just to get a recording of "Can't Let You Go". And don't inform me that there is a used copy for $39 - used stuff can be such crap.

I got my Glambox from Amazon for 30 something dollars. They must have sold out and maybe people are selling theirs to make a profit. Too bad you lost out, I really love my Glambox.Dang I sound like a commercial.
