I can't get a feel if these sales are above average or not? Obviously pretty good but feel like they should be much better than this considering he has bigger numbers on twitter and so forth. His GNT sales don't seem that high??

I am confident he is going to do brilliantly with new album but just curious as to these figures so if anyone works in the business that can enlighten me that would be great.

Someone please tweet or email RCA ED and tell him that Billboard has Adam's Glamnation Live setlist with other singers performing. Just check out IF I HAD YOU for one of the tracks and listen to the awful rendition from someone else.

If you go to Adamofficial, there are lots more numbers posted. I think as of a couple of months ago, the numbers are 5.4m worldwide for all his records.

Secondly, I've been listening to the FYE album [AGAIN :-)] this p.m. and I cannot understand for the life of me why Sure Fire Winners wasn't released as a single because it would be a sure fire winner as a single .... ditto other songs on the FYE album.

I'm sure everyone has thought the same thing , but I can't seem to find a least favorite track on FYE. Every one of Adam's bbs are so good, I love each song for a different reason. & I too , wonder why this song or that song didn't get more attention. So it doesn't matter what Adam puts on his next album we all are going to love each one of his new bbs! Adams voice just soars into the highest of high! Mwah!! K

Its too bad the GNL hasn't gotten to gold status which is 50,000, but maybe eventually it will. With all his twitter followers I would have thought it would have been gold.Then again some people follow without buying. I know Adam's next album will do great! Still after all this time love FYE cd and listen to it often.

Trust Adam will have better promotions this time because if anyone deserved it he does!

Ok, if we want gold status for GNL then someone needs to make sure the advertising is accurate.
Again, go to Billboard and play IF I HAD YOU and see what an awful cut of someone else they have substituted for Adam. If I were checking GNL out and listened to that there is no way I would buy it. Many fans have politely asked Billboard to correct this and as usual it has fallen on deaf ears. It takes someone from RCA of Sony to make it happen.

Relax, 8:43. I don't think she is guilty. You can't convict her because of how she acted after the fact and how she may have learned to deal with pain. By all accounts, she loved Caylee. It makes more sense that it was an accident and her dad, a former detective, took it into his own hands to cover it up and make it look like murder. If so (and I think it probably is), she must have felt betrayed that he almost left her there to rot or die with the death penalty when it didn't work.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure these are all US numbers and that the total tracks include the singles.

Why is it with over 1,112,000 followers only 37,000 have bought GNL?

Could it be they figure they can watch it on YouTube? Could it be it might be a little too much smiling for husbands to handle?

Do you know why there aren't higher numbers for GNT DVD?? IMO Because he didn't get to go on Leno and Letterman etc. and PROMOTE it!! I couldn't believe that RCA had a product, but didn't advertise it on TV! Maybe I am wrong about this..educate me if I am, please!

@627 not the person you are addressing but common sense says no innocent mother would cover her kid's face with duct tape so she couldn't breathe if she had accidentally drowned, nor would an innocent mother dump her child's body in the woods like garbage and not even report her missing for a month. That makes no sense at all. Casey probably got rid of her daughter because her whole life was built on lies and Caley was getting old enough to tell people the truth like she wasn't with the imaginary nanny and get her mommy in trouble. Now she's free to drink, party and sleep around all the time with no little kid to worry about. But God sees everything and she will pay a price for the murder she committed someday.

Back to Adam please, sometimes I wonder what team Ed is working for as he doesn't seem to even like Adam. It's all numbers, sales and business. So if shit sells, so be it. Quality is not important. I guess this is why I can't fill my gas tank or pay my bills. It's all about greed and the rich getting richer.

Interesting short blurb in the LA Times yesterday stating that album sales are slightly up for the first time in six years. It said "the irony is, however, that although album sales have been bolstered by blockbuster sales by artists such as Adele, the increase is more due to sales of older albums - those released 18 months ago or earlier." Hopefully this is happening to Adams FYE. I also dont understand why the GNT DVD didnt sell way more copies? I think @lmb might have stated the reason. Too bad. Adamluv

I just went there, clicked the arrow (play) and it was Adam's FYE album track of If I Had You with him singing it.....It worked perfectly for me...so not sure why it isn't playing correctly for you...Just thought I'd let you know...Maybe try it again???

After reading some of the comments under the track list, and listening to some songs, its apparent that many of the songs are linked to the FYE album songs and not to GNT live. ..definitely some major issues there..will try to contact Billboard somehow and see if they can get this resolved. Would really like Adam to get exposure for Glam Nation Live..Most of the playlist is confusing and incorrect...But at least the majority of the songs are at least ADAM! Hmmmmmm...better than nothing but obviously whoever loaded this onto their website was not paying attention...

For GNT live to go gold, it has to be in the stores to sell and it is not any longer. Seems when they sold out of their original orders, that was it. But... and I mean a big but, 3.3 Millions sounds about right round the world, if that is what that means. Hope what I read somewhere previously that the second Album is going to drop the same day all around the world.

Billboard should have posted AdamOfficial.com store link instead of play listing each track and using wrong links. Especially, that play link for IIHY is such a bugger. I yanked my earphone when I first listened to it.

@TheDarkSide RCA Ed doesn't have figures for around the world. He only gives us US figures. 3.3mm is US download tracks figure. MP3 downloads of all of Adam's tracks to-date from US iTunes, Amazon and others. Not a bad number!

GNT Live is still in stores in my area, including Target and Best Buy..I check them out once in awhile and "suggest" they restock, although they've been doing a good job with that since I had a talk with all of them, nicely of course. ..I did that when it first came out, I went to the Target in my little town and it wasn't there: It is NOW! And the same with two Best Buys..I checked with a sales clerk at one and he checked for me to see if it was being reordered after selling out quickly the first time..no record of reorder so I suggested politely (but with authority..) that he ask the manager to please re-order, which they did..An Adam Lambert fan's job is never done... At "my" Target" store, it is displayed right next to Lady Gaga's new album, a VERY good place to be seen....I do think it's too bad it wasn't promoted better by Adam's record company tho....I have a feeling when Adam's new album comes out, there will a new crop of fans buying it...

if you're on twitter, why don't you send out tweet saying the same thing. it might make a few more buy it. Agree the numbers are not good, with that many followers.
Maybe when he starts promoting his new album and getting on a few shows, the exposure will make people go and search for other stuff of his, and GNL and FYE will get a bump.

re: GNT sales - maybe it's because every show was on Ytube, and people downloaded their own copy and made their own dvd. I wouldn't know how to do it, but I guess many do. Just a thought.

The 3 singles have sold 3,3 million altogether. I think it's very good. Those who don't know the singles that were released from the FYE album were For Your Entertainment, What Do You Want From Me and If I had You. Did Adele's album get lots of promotion in the US? I don't care about Adele's music. It's not uplifting or meaningful. I suppose it's because she wrote her album a few per mille drunk. I wonder if Gaga writes drunk too. Didn't Adam and Gaga drink in the studio while recording Fever. And talking about Fever, Karma is a bitch. Not that it bothers me, but we have Adommy worshipping cult in the fandom, because of the Fever kiss. It's funny how the name reminds me of Aton, an ancient sun god worshipping cult.

The judge even told Baez that he could not use one of his opening theories in his closing argument because he showed no evidence for it. The evidence may have been circumstantial, but it still implicated Casey Anthony and Casey Anthony alone.The best you can say is that the prosecution did not produce enough evidence in the jurors' minds to put aside reasonable doubt. Jose Baez was brilliant in bringing up those theories against George Anthony - wrong but brilliant. They planted the seed of reasonable doubt that never left the jurors' minds.

I love Adam, went to 2 GN shows, bought FYE, and I did not buy that CD. Why? I saw the show twice and watched countless youtube videos of almost every show he did.
I love U2, but some of their stuff I don't like and therefore, don't buy.

This is anon @9:14. I have a queation, but first I want to say again that I am a fan of Adam's. I love him as an artist, and he appears to be a genuinely nice guy(I feel like I have to prove my fandon on this site). But why are some(just some) of you so fixated on every Adam product going "gold" or "platinum". When I buy music from an artist I like, it never occurs to me if others are buying it. I don't care. If I like someone's music and have a chance to buy it, that's all that matters to me. I couldn't care less if anyone else in the world likes it or not. Are ya'll getting a cut of the money from RCA?lol I'm not.

To attempt to answer your question about why so many fans are concerned with Adam's CD sales numbers, this is my "take" on that. My opinion, for what it's worth.....

In this competitive world of music, particularly Pop Music, album and singles sales have a direct correlation to the success, or perceived success, of an artist. Fans are supportive of Adam, wish him great success, and therefore some watch the sales numbers.. For an artist to have a "Gold" record or even better, "Platinum", or "Multi-Platinum" record is a milestone and mark of success in the recording community and the media. It is also nice to have "Gold Recording " or "Platinum Recording" Artist listed with Adam's name, along with "Grammy Nominated", etc... It also gives "credibility". We fans love him as an artist, but for non-fans it perhaps gives them a reason to take a look at his work.

About the GNT DVD/CD:
I personally bought Adam's GNT LIVE for at several reasons. I was fortunate to go to 6 of his GNT concerts and I really enjoy the opportunity to have a high quality HD (Blue Ray) video to occasionally enjoy in the privacy of my home on the big flat screen TV..It brings back the feel of being there..(.almost). I also love having a CD of his GNT versions of his songs.. The DVD offers the opportunity to SEE him sing those songs..For instance, "Sleepwalker" is just beautiful to see AND hear. The CD has a permanent home in my car, and I listen to it frequently. I also bought it to support Adam. I bought it because I love it, and love seeing Adam, the dancers, the band, and the fans experiencing Adam's first (and very successful) World Tour! But that's just me..

About the Acoustic Live! EP
This is a great, if too small : ), collection of acoustic version of 5 of his FTE album songs, and one I have used several times to introduce friends to Adam's music, along with some other songs, including some of his pre-idol music, including "Come To Me, Bend To Me" from Brigadoon, etc... It highlights his voice and when added to some other music, makes a great "starter" playlist for those who have little to no knowledge of what Adam's voice and vocal abilities are. (I save Fever for last... depending on who I'm compiling it for..sometimes have to work up to that one, even tho its is my favorite "go-to" song on the FYE or GNT CD, when I need a little "pick-me-up"..) Acoustic Live EP came out well before the GNT CD/DVD and before we even knew that was going to be available. It was really put out with little advertisement and I think was meant mostly for fans...A little "gift" from Adam to his fans.

About FYE:
The "official" one that the media and those who watch the success of artists, measure Adam's initial success by. Its a great album and one that didn't get as much attention and respect as it deserved, IMHO, due to some circumstances, but all things considered, did pretty darn well. It would be very cool if it could at some point go "Platinum" in the US (I think it will...), but if not, there's always the new, upcoming one...

Each fan supports Adam in their own way. Some go to his concerts, if they are able, others buy his music, sometimes multiple copies, others support and cheer for him by being excited about his sales numbers. I don't think it's necessary to "prove" your fandom here on this site. Liking him and his music, some or all, are all that matters. Its all about personal choice. I think Adam would approve and agree. One of his favorite phrases is "Freedom of expression people, freedom of expression!". Works for me. And nope, not getting a cut of his earnings..Don't I wish! LOL!!!

I have purchased all the albums and the cd/DVD.
I support Adam in every financial way I can to help his sales numbers. A review in our local paper stated that "though A.L. had put out a good album FYE and the acoustic cd, don't bother with the GNT dvd. The garish makeup and costumes and exaggerated staginess will turn you off. The fake dialogue with the audience is awkward and embarrassing. Adam Lambert is a talent that should be heard but not seen!"

I was so disappointed to read that I wanted to cry and angry at the same time. But as the weeks have passed I've begun to wonder if Adam's new look might give that reviewer a new opinion
about Adam not being seen? Could the glitz and glam really have turned off so many people? Did others feel like this reviewer and that's why the GNT dvd not sell?

How can you buy the theory that it was Casey that disposed of the body in such a way? There's not a shred of evidence that suggests it either. It's more believeable that the dad, a former detective, tried to make it look like someone outside the family murdered her. I don't believe Casey even knew where her dad put the body. That being said, the jury was right. The prosecution was on a witch hunt to convict someone. They never had evidence to show how Caylee died or who was involved in disposing her body or any motive. I don't believe Casey killed her daughter. All friends and evidence suggests only that she loved her.

What???? If Baez's theories were true, don't you think Casey would have said something in those videotaped conversations with her parents while she was in jail...for TWO years??? It wouldn't matter if she knew or didn't know they were being videotaped. If she didn't know she was being taped, she would've said the same thing!
But I guess one can speculate either way. I don't think it was first degree murder though. I believe it was an accident that Casey tried to cover up. But if you're going to arrive at your conclusion based on Casey acting out of common sense("by all accounts, she loved Caylee. It makes more sense...")By the same token, one could easily say that a loving mother would never have acted the way she did after her child's disappearance - no matter how much disfunction went on. As far as phone calls, yes, they knew they were being taped. I think Casey went along with it at first and was afraid to contradict herself, though she should have. Only her lawyer could do that.
People can learn to turn off painful things. The whole case was built on that million dollar question of why the child wasn't reported missing. It could have been that there was an accident and dad covered it up. Being an ex-detective, that is quite possible. No one answered the questions needed to be answered.
The jury did the right...100%.

I heard that Casey pimped her daughter out and it was all a prostitution ring gone bad. She would leave her boyfriends place in the middle of the night and take her baby somewhere, go back to her boyfriends and then pick her up later. There are all kinds of pictures that the judge ordered sealed. Maybe Casey wanted to end it and someone got mad.
