Looks like a lively party, my VCR is ready to go and capture my prey (the guy in black). I know, I'm hopelessly old fashioned...but I know HOW to work a VCR!......JAK

He looks absolutely stunning 0:23

Perfect hair and makeup for the camera. He seems to know what is going to look good, doesn't he?

So glad the glamberts got him nominated. So proud of glamily and Adam! He is best role model in long long time.

@ Sister

I'm old but spry and have a quick trigger finger!

By the way, that's an interesting looking trophy!
Just think how fast Mercury would have been with running shoes!....JAK

@JAK

Where would you display a trophy like that? In your closet? Certainly not on the mantel. LOL

@ Sister

I'd put it by the treadmill to inspire my husband.....JAK

P.S. Left fanfic plans on Kathy-Conan thread

@JAK

Very creative trophy placement! And your weekly series has some great possibilities as well. :)

@loulou

I would have loved to have seen him get nominated without the glamberts having to make it happen...but we did a great job of getting him the recognition that he so deserves and that's what is important!

And since I am having this conversation alone...LOL...I meant 0:08 for the stunning Adam shot. But no one is reading this thread except me, loulou and JAK, so no matter. HA. :)

Hey, Sister, I'm here lurking, too, as I do most days on my lunch "hour". There just is not always time to comment but I try to keep up with these threads as I'm sure a lot of others do that don't always comment.

@AG

Glad you let us know that you are lurking! I understand time to comment is sometimes short. In a couple of weeks I will have less time to be commenting too, but will try to check in during the evening.

OK, who else is still lurking!? Come out, come out, wherever you are! :)

Isn't obvious that Adam didn't win? is it just me that no one is talking about? I lost the will to watch it tonight. I don't think I can watch Biebs getting another award. YUK!!

@12:27 I know it doesn't seem fair. Adam has done more for charity than Beiber imo but who can compete with the crazy teens voting. Beiber will eventually fade away and Adam is here to stay. I will still watch it to see Adam present. Don't worry Adam will be getting lots more awards. The equality award was a great honor for him.

Hey JAK, I thought you were hip. Using a VCR when all the world is into DVR's? Wazzup???

Anonymous said...

Yes, the EQ award was a great honor and had more value for Adam I think. The trophy Adam received was also stylish.

I dont think an award for doing "something good" should depend on the number of fans you have but rather the deed itself. ... Adamluv

@ 12:46PM

I am s-l-o-w-l-y progressing into 21st century, still haven't mastered 20th century....anything that plugs in to electricity I approach with the same distrust I would Godzilla or the Loch Ness Monster. Appliances cringe and quiver when I approach them, remote control batteries instantly die and I have a very uneasy relationship with DELL-A...she has suffered many viruses and a couple strokes since she hooked up with me......sigh.....I do much better with animate objects, my husband and children have thrived under my care and I kept several pets alive way past their "due date".

Sadly, with electronics I am far from hip!....JAK
