I watched the MTV award show last night and waited long enough for Adele's performance but have to turn it off as it was just too painful. Gaga come out as a man, smoking and drinking and talking for a few minutes before singing. I felt bad for her, didn't know if her performance art was suppose to be funny, but nobody laughed. Her singing was OK until she jumped from the piano and fell. Don't know how much they paid Brian May to be on the show with Gaga, such a waste. Lots of off singing but a few goodies including Adele, Burnos and Beyonce (from youtube). Also felt weird people needed to announce their pregnancy on an award show. Scratch head.

Some of the singers were trying to copy GaGa (katy perry, Nikki)and GaGa comes out in men's clothing....gothca....people didn't laugh because I don't think they knew who she was
I don't know if they announce her. I was thinking the same as Adam..ballz...how many of the singers last night could pull that act off, I loved it.

Agree with 3:35. Adam is always writing praise of other people - It seems some are too arrogant to think of someone else and write about him. Hope they all remark on his album. You get back what you give away..

Adam is a very intelligent, verbally talented person. He knows his twitter and knows exactly, what kind of words have what kind of effect. When he uses words like "Glitterbaby" he also knows the reaction of Adommy fans. It´s already to be seen in the net. Apparently he doesn´t care so much what kind of posts Sauli becomes in his twitter. You can say these Adommys are delusional, mentally sick persons, you shouldn´t care. But no one can be deligthted, when you have even to see their terrible posts in your own twitter. We don´t do that intentionally persons of whom we care and who are us important.

Australia....heck it was on TV 3 times yesterday.Australia is always right on schedule.

Gaga was Awesome! She stole the show! We wondered how the US would perceive her, especially after the having a major fit over the AMAs. But internationally we were all loving it! Out the box, brilliance.

and yes, Adele (who should have won),fantastic!
Jessie J is awesome. She's already a star and fantastic songwriter and has such a cool image.
Just didn't like to see her entertaining the audience when she should have been on that stage
with them giving her full attention. She rocks far greater than the other artists.

Only Adam and Gaga can give perfomances of a lifetime.

As to the trivia garbage comments on this thread related to Tommy, Sauli and Adam,
why don't you get a life and give it a break.
What a total waste of energy and time. It's getting pretty darn ridiculous. Don't feed these people and they will go away.

Gaga was actually rude trying to steal award limelight from britney! Not that I like britany really. so bored of all these girl celebs dressing like each other etc etc - the voice is the main thing and adele only wearing simple black dress still managed to outshine everyone!! Adam is in this league and once his next album comes out I have faith he will be more noticed from all of these celebs as their stars begin to wane - and who will then start sucking up to him.

There's no need to be rude about it. I don't watch a lot of television so I obviously missed all the hype about it.

I think that tyler(the creator says it all for what has become of the music industry today! I checked him out whereas he won best new artist. I was horrified and couldn't stomach more than 1 minute of his garbage.

In my opinion Adele was the only thing worth watching. I think it was very tacky to announce your pregnancy on MTV. Do people care that much and why would you assume that they would. I actually didn't watch the show at all-only saw it on you tube. When I saw Chris Brown I almost lost my lunch YUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

Very surprised that the high schoolish acting young men on TMZ were commenting how awful it was how everyone was standing and applauding for Mr. Beat My Girlfriend Brown. Mr Beat was addressed on our national new in Toronto today due to a silent offensive picture "a beat up woman" advertised by a saloon. The salon owner criticize people avoiding the violence problem against woman and use Mr Beat as an example. The new's clip showed the beaten up Rhianna's face and MTV glorifying violence by giving standing ovation to Mr Brown in the award show!

I just want to know why Adam wasn't there. What the hell? He should have been invited, at least. His fans will have to BLOW THE SALES UP on his next album to prove the music establishment that's dissing him wrong.

It is a hair salon used a beat up woman picture for advertisement for the last 2 years. Only recently "the picture used" became controversial and made the headline news. So the owner defend herself on TV using Mr Beat as an example.

I still can't fathom tyler as best new artist..For what? Lil Wayne's pants were almost on the ground and couldn't lip sync in sync. Adam who can actually sing, dance and is drop dead gorgeous was not even considered. Chris Brown, altho' talented, just turns me off with his arrogance and feelings of entitlement. I just can't help associating him with violence. Throwing the chair at CBS just was another display of his imaturity and lack of control. Adam is still feeling the backlash of the AMAs and these thugs are being glorified for degrading women and violence. Go figure... I like Gaga and she can sing, but her male character got annoying after awhile and she carried it on too long IMHO. I thoght Adele was brilliant and I like Bruno Mars. Beyonce looked beautiful and I'm happy for her and Jay Z. I hope we'll see Adam on these award shows entertaining and being nominated after this new album comes out. Hate to be negative, but I was really turned off with MTV this year. funbunn40
