I think FYE would have done OK, I don't think it had been getting that much airplay (although that seems true of most of adams music) but the AMAs ruined its chances of ever catching on and it was pulled straight after that (I think). But last time I saw numbers which was a long time ago, it had sold about 330,000 copies which is pretty good for a non single..

OMG bloody AMAs and double standards. FYE should have been embraced and accepted in the US as it was/is worldwide, and still playing constantly. Has it yet gone platinium in the US yet?

Its funny, though I think we can attribute FYE s lack of success to the AMA debacle, because it was a classy, high quality video, and yet the simple stripped back WWFM single and video did so much better. It was a great song which I did personally prefer to FYE, in saying that I think FYE was a supurb video.
