Just a OT comment, I just googled the Bennt Blanco Adam mentioned working with on twitter. He is pretty sucssesful. having worked with Katy Perrys weel known hits, also K$sha, (dont know if this is good) however moving on, Taio Cruz's Dynamite which I loved, Britney, Pitbull, who strangely enough I think has a lovely voice. Mike Poser, Dr Luke, and he also wrote Christina Aguliera and Adam Levines hit duet(hmm have we heard about that)called MOve like Jagger, I dont know about amywhere else but that duet is in the top 3 of our top 10 here in NZ. So he is a hitmaker.
I think this album is going to have a nice mix, cant wait.

It's a first for Adam to work with him I think. Let's hope he really produced a smash for Adam. I mean who wouldn't love to see Adam at #1 of the Billboard Hot 100?

For those of you wanting some good news on the subject of Adam Lambert’s sophomore album, here it comes — the singer just recorded a song with Benny Blanco for his upcoming album. While you may not know Benny’s name, odds are that you probably know a few of the people that the songwriter / producer has worked with — from Britney Spears (“Circus”) to Katy Perry (“I Kissed a Girl,” “Teenage Dream”) to Ke$ha (“Tik Tok”) to even Justin Bieber (“Eenie Meanie”). In other words, this 23-year old already has a resume that most people in the songwriting business would ream of.

Benny himself referred to the song he worked with Adam on as a “smash,” which certainly bodes well considering his reputation. While it’s too early to tell just what sort of song the two parties recorded together, odds are that this is going to be something you could hear on the radio time and time again — which is fantastic since it has been over a year since Adam’s last U.S. single in “If I Had You” made its debut. (Adam himself referred to this new song as a “jam.”)

Adam said recently that he was going to be recording much of the rest of his album in New York City, with a likely release date being sometime this fall. After hearing this news, it’s safe to say that we are boiling over even more with anticipation.

First of all, I love, love Monte but I wish he was playing a little quieter or further away or on a lower register so that Adams voice would dominate even more.

Anon 5:35 -- Odd that you mention that because I feel the complete opposite. Just this afternoon, while listening to OOL, I was thinking how well Monte's playing complimented Adam's voice. It's almost as if his guitar became a real voice (not a musical instrument). Just love it! It's actually great that Adam's LIVE performances reach his fans so personally.

Monte can go crazy on the rock songs...
