His voice is absolute perfection even in the sound check! So cute to see the people in line singing along haha

I get very engrossed listening to all his sound checks from a long time ago. I think there are no other sound interferences, such screams etc. and so his pure voice just blends into the surroundings. In fact some branches and leaves were shifting in time with the band. :)

From Matt Carter's facebook:

Matt Carter: Adam Lambert works with Britney Spears, Katy Perry hitmaker! For those of you wanting some good news on the subject of Adam Lambert’s sophomore album, here it comes — the singer just recorded a song with Benny Blanco for his upcoming album. While you may not know Benny’s name, odds are that you probably know a few of the people that the songwriter / producer has worked with — from Britney Spears (“Circus”) to Katy Perry (“I Kissed a Girl,” “Teenage Dream”) to Ke$ha (“Tik Tok”) to even Justin Bieber (“Eenie Meanie”). In other words, this 23-year old already has a resume that most people in the songwriting business would ream of.

Benny himself referred to the song he worked with Adam on as a “smash,” which certainly bodes well considering his reputation. While it’s too early to tell just what sort of song the two parties recorded together, odds are that this is going to be something you could hear on the radio time and time again — which is fantastic since it has been over a year since Adam’s last U.S. single in “If I Had You” made its debut. (Adam himself referred to this new song as a “jam.”)

Adam said recently that he was going to be recording much of the rest of his album in New York City, with a likely release date being sometime this fall. After hearing this news, it’s safe to say that we are boiling over even more with anticipation.

Hey there Sister Boss !! You seem to have got your WWFM lyric a bit upbeat...working in and out? Lol. Yeah, dancing leaves...Magic Forest...cool!
I just watched Fever...Ste Agathe; whoa, was he hot hot hot, swinging his tail swish and swash! Thank you Lady Gaga for such an upbeat song. I think this might be the best Fever performance thus far. Great band. I love to see him dance; he was thoroughly enjoying himself, pounding the air, flashing smiles and pointing to Sauli and the mic twirling...oooooh hot!

Hey Sister, welcome back! At my age this kind of high wears off very fast! Unlike you :) This might have been Sauli's first live Adam concert. Those Fever high notes must have pierced his heart...oooooh. It's okay, they still have all night. :)

I love the communal feeling of an Adam Lambert conference. I will never forget seeing him in Columbus. The crowd was the motliest crew I've ever seen - people who would never come together in real life. But that night we were best friends - holding each other's places for bathroom breaks, sharing in the joy of the moment, and basking in a sense of goodwill towards our fellow Glamberts, the kind of which is rarely seen in regular society. There were middle-aged women in mom jeans, carrying big purses. There were people with multiple piercings and tattoos. But that night we were united in a way we never would be in everyday life. I'll never forget it.

Ha ha. I meant Adam Lambert concert - not concert!

Last Sept, at the Puyallup Fair in WA state, Adam's voice could be heard throughout the grounds, as if coming from the heavens. His voice had a slight echo effect, from that distance, which gave it a bit of an etherial quality. Truly the voice of an angel. He must have started his soundcheck just as I was arriving, because it went on for quite awhile. It was a beautiful sunny day, I was meeting a group of friends, including some from here at 24/7, and that made the waiting experience probably the best of any GNT I attended. It was almost as if we had two concert experiences, and they were both fabulous. And then, if having the soundcheck as background music for our wait (we were sitting in a covered outdoor beer garden, and thankfully NOT standing in line for once) wasn't enough, the band guys, Monte, Tommy, and Isaac (who was new at the time) came out to "play". They stood in the middle of a square, and word of that spread at the speed of light. They unhurriedly met fans, posed for pictures, and chatted, while Adam and the dancers, Cam, and Jeni, had some State Fair fun, and went on some rides..etc.. (You may remember the pictures of them on the roller coaster etc..) The mention of the soundcheck brings back great memories of that amazing day. And that was all before the actual concert!

Here are some quotes from Adam's Behind the Music special this Sunday @ 10pm:

It looks like it's going to be a great episode. Hey I have an idea. Let's tell everyone on Twitter, Facebook, and all of Adam's other fan sites and tell them to watch Adam's BTM special. Hopefully it will wind up becoming to most watched episode the franchise ever had (the current the most viewed episode is the one they did on Bobby Brown. yuck.)

@Glitzylady

Our minds must be working on the same wave length! I posted about the Puyallup GNT show a couple of threads back on the other sound check post. :)

I actually did get pics taken with both Monte and Tommy while they were out "amongst the people". When I asked Monte if I could have my picture taken with him, he looked at me and said, "With hair like that, how could I say no? I burst out laughing. He was a real sweetheart.

We were was waiting pre-show in the wine garden (beer garden?). Maybe the same as you???? I had set up a chair and was putting pink coloring in everyone's hair and sprinkling it with glitter. It was a riot. The lady who runs Adamtopia came over, introduced herself, and asked who I was. LOL No one important. Just a crazy lady with a tube of pink coloring and some glitter! She rejected my offer to do her hair.

Your wonderful post gave me the chills, in a really good way. I think any of us who attended one of Adam's shows can related directly to what you shared. Just his presence has this magical way of bringing diverse people together in love.

Haha! Okay, yep, I think I even remember seeing you there! : ) Same place for sure.. I was sitting at the table closest to the wine bar with a lot of people coming and going. Wish I had known you then! Adamluv, PRS and lmb were there as well, along with other friends of mine. Such fun! I met my family there later, and in fact ran into Isaac there in the wine bar area, and my husband and I chatted with him a bit. He was just starting with Adam and the rest of the band, and was just a little bit excited to be a part of the Glam Nation Tour. He talked about how honored he was and what an amazing talent and just plain nice guy Adam is. Very few recognized him because he was so new so he could just walk around relatively anonymously. That whole thing was something else and the source of many great memories.
