Perhaps he didn't want to give an earlier release date for the single incase something delays it, but maybe they'll surprise us and release it a bit earlier.
Timing must be very important. Surely the single shouldn't be too near christmas as it will be swallowed up with all the christmas music played on the radio, but the album would need to be released before christmas to get all the holiday sales.

Adam certainly was attracted to Tommy. There is no other reason on earth that he would have been chosen to be in the band. His guitar and bass skills are average (I am a bass teacher). Having said that, he is obviously a great guy and it is smart for Adam to surround himself with positive people that he likes on stage. Adam used to enjoy kissing guys he was attracted to and Tommy went along with it period.
The bottom line of course is that they were never a couple and Sauli is his boyfriend now. Yay! Altho I think he did mess around with Taylor Green a bit on tour..

I agree about the "ether" line. It feels eerily like a M Jackson reference. Ugh.

I hope the album isn't a collection of "poor me" reflections. Watch the video on Sung bong Choi if you want to see a singer who really had adversity to conquer. (not to dismiss the trouble and bullying Adam went thru) Luckily he also came in second like Adam and Subo, so hopefully will find success as well.

Some personal songs are OK but I think Adam needs some upbeat dance songs like Fever to make this album successful.

I don't think Adam was bullied in school. He was a big kid all thru highschool, he just didn't have many friends. He was quite happy in choir and acting in any plays.He has been more bullied since after AI. People tweeting horrible things about him, and papps calling him names.I think his childhood was fairly happy. It's today that he is still being hurt and bullied, and I am sure so has Sauli.

I will buy Adam's second album whenever it is released. That is a given. However, I hope that whatever the first single release is going to be that it will appeal to a wide range of people and get extensive airplay. He is just such an impressive vocal talent who is so underappreciated and misunderstood. We know practically everything there is to know about Adam Lambert so let's get past all the "stuff" about his sexuality, runner up on AI, the AMA show, his so-called relationship with Tommy, etc. etc, and focus on the present, this album that he calls "amazing". It should be about the music from the best vocal talent in the business today. I am tired of listening to songs with the f..work, abuse of women, drinking, getting high, auto-tuned garbage and ugliness. If the same management company that handles Katy Perry whose songs are on the radio every time you turn it, then they should do the same for Adam. It is his time for superstardom and the successful career that he so deserves.

I think "Singing Silly Songs to Sauli" would make a nice title to a sub-album. (lol)

I hope, Adam relised, that a lot of children have problems with bulling, torchering, mental and physical harrasments. You can be the smartest and strongest boy or the most beautiful girl at scholl but you still can be the target of bulling and torchering! My friend had such experience, and be honest, I had this problem also. He was the prom king and I was the prom queen. But we went through many problems at high school.

As far as I know Sauli has not been bullied or hurt earlier. The Finnish media has treated him very well and so has other people in Finland too. He has himself told that there have been no problems. Him being a gay has never been an issue here.

So the hate he has now gotten as Adam's bf is a new thing for him. But I think he can handle it easily. He has so much more positive things going on in his life with Adam. He is soooo happy!
