Great News!!! Why do other countries seem to appreciate our Rock God Adam more that the US? Adam's debut album was the best of last year as were his videos. He deserves to win everything and besides that he's a great human being. GO ADAM!

Anonymous said...

Wonderful he gets the recognition he deserves...too bad his own home country doesn't love him as much as other countries do. Adam is so special in so many way. Congrats Adam! Can't wait for your second album.

Congratulations Adam for winning this much deserved award. I hope the USA will one day recognize Adam for his talent and not just look at his sexual orientation. Look at what some uptight sickos from America are doing to poor Chaz Bono on DWTS. It's a disgrace - he seems like such a nice person with such a positive attitude like our sweet Adam. When will these backwards group of people grow up!
Love my country, but...

OT: Bruno mars has another single out "Marry me"- It's mind-boggling single after single from these so called top artists, every other week. I really hope adam gets the promotion like all these others. BTW- The song sucks and already up to #16 on the charts. I really don't think it has to do with songs anymore making the charts, if he/she is a hot artist right now, that's all it takes!!

Anonymous said...

This award was given out last March. Why are we only finding out about it now?

Anonymous said...

I don't get Bruno Mars either. It's not like I hate him or anything; I just don't see what so special about him. He's just ok. You're right, 2:19. It doesn't always have a lot to do with the quality of the songs. I just want Adam to blow the roof off in the next few months.

Don't anyone put America down...not while I come here and post. If this is such a horrible place to live, why does everyone in the world want to come here to live?

If you must blame anyone, blame the media and the radio station owners who are homophobic, but don't blame America.

I think Adam opened the door for ABC's DWTS to have Chaz Bono on as a contestant. Btw wasn't it ABC that cancelled Adam? Maybe they've learned from their mistake.

Please, don't blame a whole country for a few (but mighty) individuals.

This is America. The land of the free and the home of the brave. In four days it will be the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Remember where you were and how you felt when you heard about the 4 planes that were out to destroy our way of life?

I wait for the honors that will be heaped on Adam for his second Album.

Don't put this wonderful country down. Please.
To do so is like spitting on every soldier or on our flag.

Anonymous said...

I agree about some artists are having song after song spit out and flying up the charts, good or bad. I did not like Bruno Mars lazy song and this new one I don't care for either. This better happen with Adam and of course all his songs will be great with his amazing voice.I want Adam to have huge success everywhere in the world and especially in his very own country!

Anonymous said...

ok does everyone seem whiny lately or is it just me?

Adamluv said...

Anon;5;28 - you must not get out much. Have you listened to every Republican candidate for President and their homophobic opinions? And the tradegy of 9/11 has no place in this particular discussion. And ABC's knee jerk reaction to the AMAS have nothing to do with their decision to have Chaz Bono on DWTS! They learned nothing from their despicable treatment of Adam. And to say if you criticize the US, it's like spitting on the flag? Where do you get this shit? Sometimes the truth hurts!!!!! ... Adamluv

Anonymous said...

I so agree with most of the comments posted here. Adam is an international star recognized by so many countries and yet the fame and success he deserves seem to have eluded him right here at home. He is the best vocal talent in the music business today and hopefully his second album with be amaaaazing so that he appeals to a wide range of people in the listening audience. There is so much garbage out there that passes as music today with song after song from the same few individuals. I hope with this new management team and with more air play from his second album that Adam Lambert will reach rock star superstardom because of the power of his voice and his spectacular musical artistry.

Anonymous said...

Please don't put down this great country. Adams lack of exposure in this country is not the fault of the Republicans.

And on a lighter note:

Adamluv said...

Anon: 7:32 - I imagene you are also anon 5:28 - I only mentioned the Republicans since you said that the media and radio station owners are the homphobic ones! There's a lot more out there. And I mentioned nothing about Republicans being responsible for Adams lack of exposuure! And I did not put the US down! Try opening your mind or learn to read more carefully. And maybe put a tag and take responsibility for your comments as I do. ... Adamluv

Anonymous said...

Adamluv, 7:32 here and no I am NOT 5:28. I just don't like hearing negative stuff about the USA. Try not to imagine so much.

Anonymous said...

This blog isn't such a Glamberts' Paradize like it use to be. Now we started Election Company.
Come down, ladies.
Are you happy for Adam that he been recognized about world? I guess some of us even forgot what we're talking about!
@5:28 & 7:32 If ABC will invite Adam for their morning show and Adam will perform on New Year concert in New York, I can say that US Music Industry finally recognize Adam as he deserves it. Because they cancelled Adam performance in these shows after AMA. Nobody blame Republicans or Democrates. Reminding about 9/11 was very strange and I don't have any clue what it suposed to do something with Adam.
Again, nobody blames US. We talk here just about American Music and Life Show Industry.

So happy for Adam. I think this will be his year. He does deserve so much more from our American Music industry. Just the same, I am flying my rainbow stars and stripes flag (it looks like our flag except rainbow stripes). When Old Glory can replace that flag....when she actually flies for ALL the brave and the free of this country, then I will take that rainbow flag down. We Americans need to do this for Adam and all our families and friends.
Educate yourselves even if what you find out about these candidates is frustrating...I hear you Adamluv!... and then VOTE!

Adam winning the Pop-Rock Album of the Year in Hungary means so much to me! I know i already sound like a broken record but for me FYE is exceptional as a debut album with more than 10 great materials in it. Plus that fact that a number of songs in FYE are being covered worldwide says a lot about this special album. No matter what they say Adam's international appeal will not diminish. He has already proven this by being in the charts of 32 other countries and that is phenomenal coming from a show like AI. This is a much deserved award, long overdue but i'll be very patient with Adam! CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SHINING STAR!

I know that it is important when you win awards, but learning each day how Adam has touched people's lives and improved their perspectives made me realize that there are far more relevant things in life than just winning trophies. But it's also nice to be recognized appropriately once in a while more so when you have earned it the right way.

OT
Hey @Adamluv i can hear you loud and clear LOL! Thanks for the shout out the other day and same here i always look forward to yours because you have so much to share specially those Adam moments and they are all interesting. Am so glad you're able to do that here Adamluv so keep them coming. Special thanks too to @daydreamin and @glitzylady for the many great links and info.

@ANON at 7:32pm - thanks for the link to CELEBRITIES WHO LIKE ADAM, what a delightful surprise because this is the first time i saw this video. Thanks again.

Remember Jimi Hendricks was not popular in his own country USA until he became real famous in UK then he started to be appreciated by Americans!
Same for Michael Jackson too, famous & well liked by fans overseas:):):)

Sad, Americans kind of slow..........& blind to see real TALENT!
U watch Adam is gonna be BIG in USA soonnnnnnnnnnn

Congrats Adam on all your achievements & more to come!!!
looking forward to get your 2nd album!!!

Did you see the diversity of music that won awards in Hungary? Refreshing. I'm so pleased that Adam was included/recognized in that country, they obviously have an open mind...he deserves SO many more awards, but one at a time, they will come.

So fantastic for Adam to win this Award and he hasn't performed live in that country! That shows how much Hungarians love him!! Budapest is such a fabulous city, it would be wonderful if he performed there.

Bravo Adam - you deserve this Award and a whole lot more.

Anonymous said...

Yes, I agree. It would be nice if he performed here. Even Kathy Perry shot her Firework video over her in Budapest. What else shows our enthusiasm that the Vienna concert was packed with Hungarians.
Although I have to admit that his award show was like half a year ago. So it is nothing new at least for us Hungarians. But it is still nice to see the post.

Malaysia is one of the countries that has some sort of 'problems' with LGBT community and I never thought Malaysia will be one of Glam Nation Tour location last year!(of course with some restrictions). I guess we, M'sian Glamberts believed and supported the concert somehow...

What I'm trying to say is, don't blame your country.Keep on giving all the support and love that Adam needs to rule this planet EARTH!!:D No matter where you're from, make sure the person next to you love Adam as much as you do and he'll get every award and recognition he deserves.

love the goatee and Sauli is smoking hot in that picture, 1:39!Thanks for sharing!!

Dear3:46... What a pleasant visit from a neighbour across the causeway! Actually I was so impressed by the Malaysian Glamberts, 16000 of you cheering and applauding so fiercely at Adam's GNT concert, KL, while about a hundred protesters assembled just outside the venue. It felt quite tense. But the strangest thing to me was not the protesters, that too; but the fact that Adam had to control his hip movements like the heaves and thrusts. Quite restrictive to Adam, and so his sexy dance moves were significantly curtailed; that looked a bit odd to me. :)

Has anyone forgotten that ABC gave Adam Lambert the biggest stage for the closing number for the AMA's and knew he was homosexual when they signed him. Adam shot himself in the foot with his performance by "getting carried away" when people had such great expections of a professional performance from him. Two analagies fit here:

1. Once bitten, twice shy.
2. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Many people were turned off by that performance, not just the 1500 who bothered to call, email, tweet etc. It's gonna take a long time for Adam to redeem himself in the eyes of many. We fans love him and everything he does...except when we don't...then we're his worst critics.

A lot of Adam's fans eat their own on this site. Kind of childish and sickening if you ask me...which you won't.

Perry for President? I don't think so, every time he opens his mouth he puts his foot in it!
He's a male Palin and Bachmann combined!

Anonymous said...

Wendy, I absolutely agree with your comments. In fact, Adam admitted that he was "carried away, excited" by his first performance for his new song. It was an adrenaline rush and he did what he felt because of the song. It wasn't even that good a performance vocallly. Looking back, he may have some regrets about that performance, but may not want to admit it openly. He did turn off a lot of potential fans and of course, ABC that cancelled him for GMA. I think a lot has happened in those two plus years in the music industry, to the performances that singers give on stage and on tv shows and awards shows and in Adam's life and career. He has matured, grown as a person and as an artist. GNT was extremely successful esp. internationally. Now with the impending release of his second album, Adam has to appeal to a wider range of people with the help of his new management team and with more radio play for that first single. Yes, as his devoted fans, we do love him passionately but also feel free to criticize him when we don't like or approve of something he does. I am waiting anxiously for the release of this second album and hope it will be amaaaazing as Adam claims. He certainly deserves the fame and success that has eluded him because he is the best vocal talent in the music business today. Now is his time to prove this.
