Via halag:

Just a very short snippet of Adam saying the phrase sa rang hae yo which I'm told means I love you in Korean. This is from March 2010 and part of Adam's FYE album promo.

Adam is very good at pronouncing foreign languages. :)

Yes, I wonder if he sang in Italian when he studied opera briefly.

OT...I woke up at 4:00 a.m. after a terrific dream...dreamt that Adam was approached about singing for the Freddy Mercury biopic that will star (shudder) Sacha Barry Cohen. It goes into production in 2012 I believe. My first thought was SOUNDTRACK ! A whole cd of Adam singing Queen's greatest.I know it's a fantasy wish, but couldn't go back to sleep. I looked up and listened to a long list of people singing with Queen,
George Michael was best of the list, but not better than Adam at EMAs. It was such a nice dream!

And remember...you still need to fit on your pants afther eating turkey for 3 days!!So a little turkey, then a "little" look to Adam's chest, the best way of burning calories!!Lol!!

Nice dream JAK, I like George Michael too, but Adam is THE BEST!!

I guess there's a physical resemblance between Sacha Baron Cohen and Freddie Mercury but Marc Martel is far more suited to the Freddie Mercury biopic role. Similar voice, similar looks but as far as I'm aware, he's not an actor.

Perhaps they'll have Sacha Baron Cohen lip-syncing Freddie's voice.

Moi! I have to tell I can hear Adam`s music everyday on the radio here : )
Thanksgiving is a beautiful holiday (manner), sometimes I thanks my family and friends here, today also, and you guys over there, dear Glamberts!

Adam does have a knack for languages and accents. Acting should be in his future. Sasha is pretty well-suited for the Freddy rol, but I don't how well he can sing. They should dub in Adam's voice. JAK, great dream about Adam. I (and maybe a few of you, too) have had some pretty "interesting" dreams about Adam. Let's just say they were, ahem, entertaining.

I think they will use Freddy Mercurys voice, lip synched, otherwise it's just another tribute like Adam did. Which he did very well, just played it again, and loved it. But if they actually have all Freddys recordings, it would be silly not to use the real thing.

Adam does foreign languages phonically, just as he did the Hebrew in "The Prayer"

Just kidding about dubbing Adam's voice for Freddy. It would make sense to dub in Freddy's own voice. Sasha has the campiness of Freddy and will likely do a good job. Adam not only does a good job of picking up language and accents phonetcally, but he also seems to pick up the nuance just a little. I've been saying that not only would Adam be great in a movie role, but I'd also love to see him do a voice-over for an animated character. He'd have a blast and so would we!

To all the people above discussing Mercury, you should take note that his name is spelled Freddie (ie at the end, not y):)

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!

Among those to whom I am thankful: American Idol Season 8. If not for them, we would not be here today, sharing our love and admiration for Adam Lambert. The absence of that powerful & beautiful voice in our world would be truly sad. We would have no idea what we would be missing. : (

My respect and admiration to Freddie Mercury. It's shocking to think its been twenty years since he died. He was legendary to say the least. He's definitely on my iPod. I watched a documentary about him recently and it made me realize even more what the world lost when he died. And how the US eventually rejected him and Queen at one point later in their careers for daring to be a little different. Sounds familiar. Time heals and I hope that we as a country can cultivate a sense of humor about campiness and a sense of humanity about GLBT performers who dare to be open about who they are, without judgement. Freddie was never really officially "out" but helped to pave the way for Adam 17 years later, who used Freddie's Bohemian Rhapsody in his AI audition.

A quote on Queen's twitter acct. today:
"Its not a day I celebrate. One of the grimmest memories of my life But I will be playing some guitar today, too, quite privately" Brian May

I think dubbing Freddie's voice would be the best thing to do, but the articles I read were discussing Sacha Cohen singing the songs. He does sing...sang in Sweeney Todd and another musical.
I heard him once, not impressed. If the music is not going to be great, why make the movie? Freddie's voice was distinctive as well as his stage strut. Hopefully the producer will respect Brian May and Roger Taylor's wishes.

Just watched "Queen in Montreal" on VH1.
I wish one day and many days after Adam can keep under control 50,000 or 100,000 or 300,000 people during 4 hours.
If you would watch this concert in Montreal, you can find that Freddie had 4 octaves voice.

P.S. Sasha Cohen is jerk.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving tess4ADAM. Thanks for all your hard work keeping us up to date on all the Adam polls out there. I don't do polls much anymore because of all the silly and useless fan bickering but I still like to know just in case, lol

@ tess4ADAM

Since you mentioned New Years...do you think perhaps, maybe, perchance, the AMA kiss and make up or "kiss up" to Adam, might possibly extend to the New Year's Rocking Eve? You remember the invite they cancelled before cause he had been a "bad boy" on ABC.

If he's back in their good graces, it would certainly be a perfect forum to introduce the new single!

A girl can dream!

Speaking of dreams, I swear that all my dreams of Adam are positively, perfectly, practically pure! ^o^ Honest!
