Lam-my, re: your nationality, your name seems to me Asian, and your English, sophisticated and British English spelling--could you be of Chinese ancestry from Hong Kong? BTW, you, JAK, glitzy-lady,DRG, Canadian, and many others whose names my addled brain can't recall (sorry)--you Glambert personalities are a perfect complement to our common denominator and muse, as y'all, like him, keep me both entertained and intrigued. BTW again, my photo of Claude Kelly is in black and white, not color, so, are you also clairvoyant?
Hi Photographer, I don't know but your photograph immediately registered; I love the serenity it potrays; like Claude sitting nonchalantly by two large rubber tyres. It didn't strike me as a black and white photograph as I see various subtle tints which usually do not show up in a black and white. Claude Kelly looks radiant with a kind of down-to-earth sultry expression. I am not exactly clairvoyant though I do get vibes, sometimes subconsciously say things which turn out to be what I unknowingly uttered earlier on and then I would say to myself, whoa! I am a born and bred Singapore Chinese. Singapore's main language of work and education is English and we study a second language be it Chinese, Malay or Tamil, some even do a third language like French, Japanese etc. About ancestry, I guess my ancestral roots would trace back to Hong Kong and China. My Mom did tell me she came to Singapore with her father when she was nine years old, from Hong Kong. But I am 100% Singaporean. Very honoured that you say my English is sophisticated and so is your photography...very sophisticated indeed! Thank you. :) Lam-my
Hi Photographer, the object in your photo, that grabs my attention is the wheel and tyre at the right corner of the photo. Very strategically framed and the details so clear, I can see the bolts and the dirt in the inner rim of the wheel. :) Lam-my
Oh one more thing...there is great depth in the photo. The vehicles at the far end of the road can be seen so clearly. That requires special lens and skill. You should try and photograph Adam; he is a photographer's dream come true. :) Lam-my
Off Topic ..but I just found a tweet from @SuperBowl2012 #hometown asking Adam if he was joining them for the super bowl!! It is the official site of the Super Bowl..National Anthem anyone?
Happy birthday Claude, you look pretty darn young. You and Adam came up with a beauty of a song, love it. I hope that is not a ciggy butt in your hand tho.
Imagine Adam singing the anthem, while Monte is playing with Madonna's band at half time. Super bowl, wonder if there is any truth to that tweet, per at 6:54's comment.
@Anon 8:53 AM That tweet came out a week or so ago..so its real, although it was just a question..Guessing that won't happen..but maybe one day it will..Would be awesome tho...And what a beautiful job Adam could do with the National Anthem...we already know he CAN!
