We all know deep down tnat he, once again, had the world at his feet and fucked up. I think this, combined with other questionable behaviors, will give people the permanent impression of him as a troubled person. I don't even like THIS Adam & am having a difficult time staying a fan. This has got to be so unnerving to his family, friends, and label. I now do not see the "finally gonna hit the big time" Adam I saw before I read this. Soooooo disappointed.

Anonymous said...

Oh please, get over it allready!

if ur true adam lambert fans u wont give up on him -true fans stick to him.all celebrity out there ha s the problenm why adam not one of them give me a break.after all hes human;love you as usual adam lambert.

As a mother, I'm really worried to hear that he end up in jail. First thing I will tell him is to come home and be with his family for comfort.

He works too much and at the same time taking care of a loving relationship.

It's really hard for him to do it at the same time but he is trying to make it work.

Adam is safe and the song is doing well.

Adam please take care of yourself and you really need to slow down my dear.

Don't worry about the negative attitude they are craps indeed.:)

Get over it already is right. There have been stars who have done much worse things and still are huge. Adam will be fine and this will all blow over. I am a fan for life and no one is perfect, unconditional love!

Anonymous said...

Adam needs to learn to have a good time on two drinks and stay in control. Maybe this "spanking" will be good for him.

@anon1:19 someone here keeps repeating herself/himself, we heard you BUT we are not listening. This will be the last time I will notice you. Please join the site where you get LOVE. We only LOVE Adam here and NO place for HATRED.

1:19

Oh please. Give me a break. Compare Adam to the biggest stars in the US and he hasn't even done anything bad at all.

Xtina got arrested early this year. Her career is still going strong and people still love her music.

Gaga has said more outrageous things this year and she's the biggest star in the world.

Britney has ...well, done a lot of things she probably feels ashamed of but she's still making it huge and has a lot of fans.

This is nothing!! I will support Adam 100%

Anonymous said...

Thanks to everyone posting positive comments.Adam is a wonderful person. No one goes through life without mistakes here and there, but he did say lesson learned. Life is one big lesson and Adam has navigated all the bumps just fine. He needs all his fans to support him now and send him love. Buy another copy of BTIKM on itunes and gift it!

Anonymous said...

At least this entertaiment reporter made a joke of it. Hope that's the attitude other shows take tonight!

He was living up to some of BTIKM lyrics, bad boy!<3

Anonymous said...

Hey 1:19 -- I bet you anything that you were the first one in line to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie starring guess who??

Robert Downing Jr.?? The guy that the whole of USA tore to pieces a few years back and are now embracing like crazy.

Get over yourself. Adam Lambert is here to stay and has gained some 1,500 more followers since this morning. We love his music and we love him.

Anonymous said...

I followed BING, to see what they had to report, and spent a pleasant time, after what little they had to say of the incident, watching six videos of Adams . They pushed his singing, not bad.
Yes, it was part of their article. I know this wasn't done for publicity, but he got some nice publicity anyway :)

Anonymous said...

I noticed 1500 more twitter followers today. Good point about Robert Downey Jr. Adam is here to stay and this incident will not effect his overall popularity. Most of those jerks that write nasty comments on those blog sites were haters to begin with. They take every opportunity to be hateful toward Adam.We love you Adam!

Anonymous said...

Oh Anon 11:19....."other questionable behaviors". You are a trip.
Adam is a big, strapping, complex, passionate, HUMAN BEING!!!!
Come down off of your high horse before you get bucked off. Geeze!
Love Adam forever!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Just read a tweet that Adam has now gained more than 2,000 followers since this morning :)

Anonymous said...

Adam is his own worst enemy.

not to bad Of TV segment I was expecting worse.

Anonymous said...

1:19 you should write books, the first one shove up your #ss and call it a mystery. Ok I'm not funny, won't give up my day job.

Anonymous said...

2:15pm, HuffPo had several Adam videos below their news on this, for example the 18 minutes of his best performances in AI, AND BTIKM!

They also were critical in their news piece, saying (regarding Adam's tweet):"Did you get that? They got blackout drunk, became angry, went to jail, feel totally guilty about it, and now they are laughing and eating burgers.

At least someone is laughing, because last time we checked domestic violence isn't funny and being drunk is no excuse."

Can't say they are wrong... Still, nice to include those videos.

Anonymous said...

As they say in Hollywood, there's no such thing as bad publicity. Oh and by the way, people are allowed to have differing opinions on an incident without being called haters. Good God, some of you need to get a thicker skin.

Anonymous said...

"The Show Must Go On" but not for Adam anymore. He closed the show. Yes, Adam has some fans who will stay with him till the rest of their life.

Anonymous said...

Now I can call Adam looser. Finland police will deff agree with me
HAHAHAHA

Anonymous said...

Next to UK, Finland is noted for dring a lot. I do not think the Finnish police saw this as different than any other night in a bar. So Adam and Sauli had too much to drink, so what. There was no crime done, and no physical violence. Hope they felt like sh-t the next morning. Hope those burgers settled on their stomachs or they have a little more than a hangover. LOL A lovers tiff, jealousy involved. Millions of people have gone thru it.

You guys/gays/gals are all WRONG with your blind devotion. Adam makes HORRIBLE decisions and THAT is why AT NEAR 30 he is still not in the big league. His voice and talent are amazing, but he's an idiot who keeps letting his self-destructive behavior get the best of him. Do you really think Queen is going to want him if he does this kind of thing? And quit comparing him to Downey, Gaga, Spears, Xtina - they had already sold tens of millions of albums (or made millions in movies) before they had more freedom to mess up. He is STRUGGLING to get noticed with legions of devoted fans trying their hardest to help him and, yet again, BETRAYS THEM with his terrible, public behavior. Why is he even in Finland NOW with the release of his single???? Is he hiding?? Does he get so nervous that he can't control himself?? If his nearest and dearest sense this, why didn't they help steer him down a quieter path??? I'm so MAD right now!! And, I know you all will tell me to get a life, but you know I'm right. I'm just venting cuz I seriously can NOT believe this is all over the news and nothing NOTHING about his beautiful new single. Which I love. It can be so frustrating to be his fan - I've waited 2 years, or more, for him to really hit that next level and we get THAT HEADLINE TODAY???? I want to strangle him!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Adam learned his lesson, but some fan don't learn and making imaginary stories.

It wasn't a big story ,im Adam fan .

I really want to choke Perez up or destroy he's website,he make bad story out of nothing.

He's trash Perez that's why he gets a punch from black eye peas because he make rumor about fergie.

The best thing is it's Christmas and new year coming and people will forget that and I hope someone tell me how to crash Perez website.

@4:42 i feel your anger and pain, I really do- I feel somewhat the same way, but I love adam too much to stop being absolutely crazy about him! We all make mistakes and yes this couldn't have come at a worse time and yes he keeps us on an emotional ride constantly, but maybe that's what I find so interesting and of course that massive talent that lives within him!

Anonymous said...

@ 4:42 PM

I'm not going to tell you to get a life...I'm going to tell you, get out of Adam's life. Obviously you can't weather the ups and downs.
Sometimes people make mistakes, if you can't get past it...bail out!

Anonymous said...

@4:42PM Absolutely agree with you.

Anonymous said...

@ 4:42 PM

Adam disappointed you and we can't do anything about that my dear......

True fans are still here to protect and love him no matter what.....

We are the CRAZY AND DEVOTED FANS that no one can brake it indeed!!!!

By the way he gains more followers on twitter how about that????:)))

Violence is not to be taken lightly. Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates

Anonymous said...

@4:42 ... THIS is ADAM's LIFE ... not yours!!! You can rant all you want ... it is IRRELEVANT to ADAM's TRUE fans!!! If you can't stand the heat ... leave the fandom!! NO artist needs 'entitled' .. 'fair weather' ... fans!! Geez!!!

Anonymous said...

4 42 I'm not going to tell you to get a life because what you are saying does make sense. People do make mistakes. Put alcohol in the mix and its worse than ever.
These guys like to party and I dont think this will be the last time this will happen.
I feel bad, the news about the single will take a back seat to this trash. But the press is all about negative scenarios.
Maybe Adam needs a break, maybe he should be single for a while, get back into his singing, promoting and good deeds he's done in the past. He once said, he doesnt think he;ll be in relationships longer than a few years. I would think plans of promoting his single are in the works already. Hoping to see him on all the talk shows, not looking forward to the questions that will arise because of this incident.

Anonymous said...

3:34 looser? oh boy!

Anonymous said...

He should be promoting his new single, not getting stupid drunk enough to cause more controversy. It amazes me how he can take a major, positive step forward and then do something ridiculous and avoidable to F*** it up. Still a fan, but good lord, grow up Adam!

Anonymous said...

I find this over-hyped sensation, well, over-hyped. As if none of us has never quarrelled or had a fierce brawl with a loved one. This too me is more real than the rosy picture we have had so far been presented with. Anyway, tiffs like these do not break a relationship. If it ever does, it'll be for a totally more sinister reason. I think Adam does need to be alone for a while to retrieve back that carefree self, his peace of mind. He has actually taken a lot in a short span of 3 years since being thrust into the limelight of fame. Adam will be back to his magnanimous self in no time. Sauli will help him do that.
Lam-my

Anonymous said...

@Lam-my Why we like to talk about Adam's fame so much? Sorry, you said "limelight of fame"!
Adam doesn't have any fame yet. He is trying to work on it. So far, it doesn't work very good. Adam has to work harder instead of having fan with Sauli. Cause if ADam would work hard enough, new single w/music video! would be released on October. And his fans would get new album before Christmas!

Anonymous said...

Other artists and stars sometimes do way more over- the- top stuff and it doesn't affect their popularity. Adam's success depends on really catchy dance-friendly tunes and none of this other stuff. I don't see his career potential harmed at all if he can come up with some good songs.
However, it worries me that there is that extent of fighting in the relationship. I can't imagine having a public argument of that size with someone I loved.
Adam is headstrong and full of himself sometimes. Maybe Sauli is too.
I remember working one summer at a tourist booth where I had to be artificially friendly and cheerful all day. When I got home, I felt like exploding!

Anonymous said...

It couldn't have been just a small spat if they were thrown in jail!

Anonymous said...

And btw, it is loser, not looser! I see this so often and if drives me nuts!

Anonymous said...

Hi8:22, okay I'll agree with you partially but comparing now and before Idol, isn't he thrust into the limelight of fame, as in a sudden roller-coaster ride of fame; and performing with Queen, an iconic band and recently the Shanghai gig ( China's population 1.6 billion). These are huge events and other big venues as well in countries throughout the world!!

I wish people would have the balls to include a name with their posts. (Even if you post under "Anonymous" you can still type your screen name at the end of your comment.)

Anyway, while I'm sorry this bar/jail incident happened, it WILL blow over. Some of the reactionary comments here really annoy me -- people suggesting that Adam repeatedly "fucks up", has ruined his career, isn't working hard enough, or should be promoting his single instead of celebrating the holidays. I wish those who choose to be so negative (and ridiculous) would post on a different site. This is a FAN site where most of us try to be positive and appreciate the fact that Adam is a human being who OCCASIONALLY messes up, but most of the time is a wonderful person and amazing artist who enriches our lives with his music, performances and charm.

@4:42 I kinda understand your frustration too. When I saw this on the net this morning, I had a "deja vu" AMA moment! Coming right after release of the epic single, not good! But mostly I worry about Adam!! I would luv to see him cut back on the booze, party w/out having to get smashed. Plus all that alcohol can't be good for his voice! I hope he comes home soon and focuses on the new cd! And...maybe he and Sauli need a little break (just a little).

But I will always luv Adam, he's a special person, and deserves all the success in the world!

@anon 8:26 p,m. Let it be, let fans write what they want, how they want. You must be an english teacher. Stop correcting us, keep it to yourself, would you?

Anonymous said...

@8:23PM It's all about how good his music is at first listen for those who turn on the t.v. or radio after long work day. I had no idea that Mary J Blige had a backstory being involved in substance abuse. I found that out yesterday. I love her voice and music I bought bunch of her songs and albums (by the way buy her latest album My Life II). Most people really don't care about artists' back story or what not. Michael Jackson another good example. He had greatest hits one album after another. It's all about how good your music is.

Adam is a grown man that isn't perfect, nor pretend to be. He screwed up, which he doesn't often do. He entertains us with his immense talent and like all of us, haven't always made the best choice. If as a fan you expect a perfect human being or idol, you'll be disappointed. Some of the outworldly most pious well known figures live secret lives that often disappoint. With Adam, as upfront and honest as he is, what you see is what you get. I personally believe Adam is a loving human being, a real man with occasional shortcomings as the best of us, living in a many times unatural, excessive environment that sometimes gets to be too much, with pressures and expectations of others that to be oppressive. Those that respect and admire his talent and accept who he is will stay, those that expect him to always live up to their standards may wish to seek an entity that can live up to their personal level of perfection.JMO

Anonymous said...

@10:05PM Especially since Adam got fans from all around the globe and English is their 2nd language.

Who ever you are stop picking on fans grammar, etc. At least we can speak, read, and understand two languages. I wonder if you can speak, read, write, and understand any other language beside English. Stop bullying international fans with their English language barrier. Without spell check I think we are just doing fine.

Adam went to Finland to meet Sauli's friends and family. He made the mistake of drinking too much, as did Sauli. We know the effects of drinking too much alcohol. They made this mistake and taking it into the street for anyone withing eye/earshot to witness. Ok, so now that we know the story, is it really such a big deal? NO. The only sad thing is the humiliation of having to have spent the night in drunk tank jail for the first time in their lives and that the world found out about it and at such a pivotal time for Adam. In hindsight, I am over it already. I truly think the humiliation for both has taught them a very valuable lesson.

Anonymous said...

Folks, it takes TWO to tango so there were TWO people involved in this altercation, Sauli as well as Adam and yet people are OTT blaming Adam for this mishap. I think it could be said that being a celebrity and getting drunk in a public place is a recipe for disaster, and as I understand it, BOTH Sauli and Adam were drunk.

Anonymous said...

2:16 Yes, both were drunk. However, they don't drink all the time, so I don't think drinking is a problem for either of them. People usually go to bars and night clubs on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in Finland. Drinking is not a must, some like to be sober too, but we are not hypocrites either. I'd say the Finnish young people don't drink more than the British or Americans in general.

Anonymous said...

I love Adam and would not judge him for this. I certainly have made mistakes in my life and I think we all have. The important thing, I think, is to learn from them. However, I am concerned with news stories and songs that wink and laugh at problem behavior after excess drinking. Yes, as some have noted, binge drinking is not the same thing as alcoholism. But it is indirectly responsible for many, many acts of domestic violence. IMO, once you discover you tend to make poor choices at a certain level of drinking, it is time to not go to that level anymore and you should be held even more accountable if you do.

Anonymous said...

It's becoming a bit annoying to read the lectures, because it was booze, not drugs. It was Adam's first, and most likely the last time he spent a night in a drunk tank. Remember how mixed-up Xtina was when she was arrested and her boyfriend was driving drunk.

Studing grammar is always very boring and heavy. I started to study English to be able to travel around the world and not have to go with guides and translators, so we can travel alone. Now posting is much more fun and learned a lot.
Good luck with the exam in June

SG...You actually study and take exams, very hardworking gal! Like you and Barcelona fan said...more fun to learn it informally because you enjoy it and you'll absorb and remember it better. SG, you even joined me in my fun writing adventures with Adam who is himself a terrific teacher. Learning must always be fun otherwise it won't last and you'll soon give it up. By the way, grammar is very very interesting because SG, like you said before it's the recipe and your cake will turn out nice and fluffy instead of tough and sometimes even with a 'crater' in the centre instead of icing on the top. LOL! :)
