ot, Adam won the poll at Sophie radio against Mikey Wax and is now up against Graffeti6 so keep voting!! on topic, I am ready for some rockin and a rollin Neil.

Just viewed the covers of BTIKM, doing what an Adam cuckoo will do to be close to the source. Because I have the vocal range of a puppet, I'm always curious to see how other wannabees stack up against the gold standard. One of the things I've discovered from the covers is that BTIKM is not easy to sing because the singer has to finesse and drop to a lower octave to reach the high notes, as one singer did, or sing in a falsetto, which does not produce the fullness of the head voice. Even the ones with the vocal technique don't seem to satisfy, no matter how competent the singing. All of which leads me to conclude why I believe Adam's singing is so satisfying: Apart from the robust power and wide range of his voice, Adam's has a full-bodied richness that may be innate, or developed through years of professional training, a quality that is lacking in even the better covers.
Many have said Adam could "sing a phone book", he's that masterful. A vocal virtuoso effortlessly wielding his arsenal of artistry, emotion, inflection, tempo, riffs, and all the tools singers can use, but don't or can't, Adam in song is a marvel to behold. Like all masters of art, no matter the song or genre, he has proved over and over that his ability to use his magical gift to transport us exactly to where he wants to take us: a state of exhiliration. I can't blame the aspiring covers for being inspired to tackle the ultimate singer's songs. I suspect they too want to be close to the source, as brother Neil is so lucky to be. Yay, Adam. atm

Thouse two Lambert are really having fun torturing us!! I'm sure they even have a schedule!! I can imagine them saying:
Adam:Hey! Neil, today is your turn, don't be too bad or to hard on my Glamberts, I need them to be alive, just make them a little more crazy,I'll finish the work later. One of my hip moves and done!!

Neil: Ok! Adam, but do not used tight leather pants, thouse are too sexy and we still have 80 days left!!

Adam: You're right Neil. I'm gonna used THE PANTS (leopard print)so they be talking about them and give time to catch they breath. That will keep them alive.Have fun bro!!

The world can hardly wait! After reflecting 2011, we can hardly believe this has been a year without Adam. We are use to seeing him all the time and this year has been on hold. Cannot wait for 2012
the album and the tour! Oh Man, it's gonna be a year of total mind blowing Adam and watching him rule the music industry throughout the entire world!This means the long wait will have been worth every bloody going nuts minute in 2011!

One more thing to MARVEL at is his talent to COVER other artists’ songs, do them most often more brilliantly than the original singers plus sound like the song could originally be HIS… Many have said it, he owns the songs he’s singing. Maybe there should be another, new word for COVER when Adam’s singing other artists songs…lol.

Adam's birthday about a month away!!!!

I think we all know that 2012 is going to be Adam's year. First, there is his 30th birthday and a reason to celebrate. Then there will be the all important radio play for BTIKM and appearances on the major talk and entertainment shows. And finally in March we have the highly anticipated release of Adam's sophomore album which by all accounts is going to be amaaaaazing. He is the best vocal talent in the music industry today and it's about time he is recognized as such!! So let's all drink a toast to Adam Lambert this New Year's Eve and for all of us to have a happy, successful and healthy 2012.

To everyone here at 24/7!! Looking forward to 2012 being a stellar one for Adam Lambert and all of us fans as well....New music, new interviews, TV appearances, and NEW TOUR!!!! Its a miracle we all survived 2011, what with waiting, waiting, waiting, for new music...and less than a handful of concerts (2)....We're a patient and loyal bunch! And have kept each other occupied during the slow times..AND the crazy times...

Being an Adam Lambert fan is a full time job, and is NEVER dull! He continues to amaze, excite, thrill, entertain, delight, inspire, bring out the "motherly" instincts at times, the "not so motherly" instincts most of the time ; ) We want to hug him one minute, and er...well..do other things involving "hugging" the next.. We love him, we worry about him, we laugh with him, we cry at times, often because his voice is so beautiful, and sometimes because of the unwarranted and undeserved hate and ignorance directed his way... We praise him for his music, his good works, his good heart and soul, AND we occasionally say "Oh Adam!! What the heck??!!! was THAT???" after which we have had the urge to spank him......, then to pat him on the back. We want to slap his critics, to shake the hands of those columnists and reviewers who "get" and love him as we do....And we all want to thank him PERSONALLY and OFTEN for all of the joy and beauty AND friendship he has brought into each and every one of our lives!

I've "known" Adam for almost three years, since the beginning of AIS8, (saw him in WICKED on tour in Seattle before that...but had no idea WHO I was seeing for the very first time then...)...and since that first moment on Idol, when my eyes and ears were riveted to the TV screen and when I could finally think and speak and said "OMG!! Who is that???!! He's going to win...no question..." and that was after just one amazing and very intense, and all to brief performance (I always want MORE!!).... "Black or White"..I still react the same way..each and every time, be it on TV or live...and know I always will.

Thank goodness for Burning Man and The Universe.. and "substances.." and Adam's rare and wonderful talent...Also thanks to his parents for nurturing their beautiful and special son and encouraging him to be who he is today...And thanks to Neal for being a supportive and loving brother..Lastly thanks to Sauli for bringing love and joy to Adam...(and vice versa..)..(with the gentle reminder that none of us are perfect...)

Also thanks to the administrator of 24/7..without you we wouldn't all have this place to meet and flail..

May 2012 be the "Year of Adam Lambert"....

glitzlady, You said it all! I, too, fell in love with Adam at "mama." Have been an addict ever since. I've liked many singers over the years, but NONE have touched me like Adam. I simply cannot and will not let him go. We've been through the good and the bad in our short journey with him so far. I intend to stay with him for the long haul. It's not just his physical beauty. It's his heart and his warmth, even when he is "misbehaving."

It's hard to express how important this site is to me. I also visit and contribute to several other of his fan sites regularly, but THIS ONE has really grabbed me. It's a little wilder, and little edgier. We have plenty of "anons" who keep it interesting and sometimes annoying, but always captivating. I look forward to hearing what JAK, glitzlady, Canadian, GGD Gal, SG, and many more of you have to say each day. Wouldn't an AML convention be great? I know some regions of the country have AML birthday parties (Hope to see one happening in my area in Jan.). We have really gotten to know each other, though we have never met in person. It's so gratifying to know so many people feel as passionate as I do about this incredible young man.

The deaf often use "service" dogs too. So this young man is not necessarily blind. He is certainly an exquisite "signer"! My best friend's daughter was born deaf due to her having German Measles while she was pregnant. Our girls grew up together so my daughter learned to sign as well.
Their fingers flew and they giggled incessantly.
