Oh my, those lucky people. I wish I was in line. Reminds me of his concert Glamation when we stood in line. And it was so fun, every one there loveing Adam, and it was fun talking to people with the same interest. It is so great how Adam Lambert just draws you in. You want to know everthing about him. The Jay Leno show is going to be great tonight. I suppose he will just sing. And will probley be on last. Can hardly wait. Is this is L.A., looks like the weather is nice out there also.

According to a friend who is one of those in line (alas, not me...) the ticket says 4 PM. Another friend who has been there in the past, said she remembered that taping starts at around 5 PM LA time.

Is there anyone in that line younger than 45? If that was my intro to his music, I'd give it a pass. I am not that old - my music tastes are not that old.

You all don't get it. What age group in this country watches Leno and Ellen. Doesn't do much to bring in new younger fans.

ANYBODY that has to promote ANYTHING - music,books,movies - goes on Leno and Ellen. And other day and night time shows.

You may watch those shows, but the club goers, people who party, like dancing, college, don't watch those shows and we buy music an go to concerts. We get our info other ways.

troll is the universal put down isn't it. Just so happens I like his music. Most people I know haven't the faintest who he is and Leno is old school, Ellen is too. May be nice people, but not terribly appealing. Celebs go where they are sent. A generation past - time passes, ya know?

So, I am wondering what's the problem with a singer having older fans? I can't seen the issue. I DO see a problem with having only younger fans. Not all singers appealing to tweens/teens can keep their fans. For example, who has heard from Jonas brothers lately? Younger fans are more fickle.

Also, a significant number of the older fans are smart, articulate, knowledgeable of the music and entertainment business and capable of having a meaningful discussion. Maturity has its multiple benefits.

And no, I'm not one of the older fans; barely older than Adam himself.

I think the shouting is for the birds and makes fans look like loonies. A Thunderous applause is what is in place

If you're a person who can't stand rubbing elbows with anyone over 25, then just get in line for a Bieber show. He and lots of other younger performers have made the Leno/Letterman/Ellen rounds. Adam's fans cross over through a lot of age groups. If our fanbase doesn't suit you, there are plenty of other places to go.

I love Adam Lambert! I just don't understand why ppl that don't get into him seem to want to leave all these negative comments all the time. If you're not interested in his music and career then why do you show yourself with his "true" fans. Adam is an amazing artist and he will make history, whether you are 10 or 80 yrs old. Okay if you were a good looking 29 year old female singer, singing your heart out on a stage looking out at older fat men drooling over you, wouldnt that make you kind of sick? Uh, not a pretty sight.
Blah blah blah, older fans have the money to buy, so what. Parents can buy for their teens, and younger fans under 35 can certainly pay their own way.
Its just kind of embarrasing seeing how some fans look at Adams shows. Saying it like it is.

6:37pm: I asked the question on the issue of having older fans. I haven't been to Adam's concerts so maybe I have not seen the "worst" of it. And I can understand that in concerts it can go a little overboard. But. Based on the Youtube videos from the concerts I have seen, Adam seemed to egg on the audience... So he probably doesn't have a problem with this?

I find it more disturbing if older women are fans of let's say Justin Bieber, who is still a kid. Adam is almost 30, and definitely not a child. So less disturbing to me. Online the older fans of Adam seem to be a smart bunch.

Adam seems to have a pull on people who are not the typical "fans". I have never been a fan of anything or anyone before, and I've seen many with similar stories on fan sites. Again, there is something in him that has a profound impact on some people.

I was at a Jay Leno taping once while visiting by son in LA and I believe it was around 5pm. But, l I live on the east coast and I'm going nuts waiting for someone to post a video. I have to be up early for work.

Taping was at 4 and out by 5! I was in that line, a few people back but some friends are in this picture. ... Adamluv
