I go skiing every year on SuperBowl day. Football isn't my fav. sport. Best time to go skiing. Ski runs aren't crowded. I'll watch how she did on MJs blog.

What a bunch of nasty comments about Kelly Clarkson! I'm a huge Adam Lambert fan but Kelly is my second favorite former American Idol winner (besides Adam ; ))))) ) and I thinks she sings beautifully. There was no guarantee that Adam would sing in the first place and therefore this level of anger is really unfortunate. He would not appreciate it, I would assume, since he is always nothing but kind and respectful to other artists, including Kelly. She'll do a great job and perhaps Adam will do it someday, maybe not. It's not that important in the whole scheme of things, to Adam's career, and I'm guessing he was honored to have his fans post the twitition asking the Super Bowl committee to consider Adam. By the way, I also appreciate the nice comments about Kelly. The theory behind Kelly being chosen was that The Voice will be promoted during the Super bowl with other Voice-associated people performing in some capacity...Kelly will be a coach or something like that..Network politics I suppose....

I agree with @glitzylady about the unwarranted nastiness being directed toward Kelly on this thread ... especially since Kelly had such NICE things to say about ADAM when she was interviewed in the UK a couple of months ago. As a matter of fact the video was posted HERE on ADAM 24/7!! WHO cares if she likes Ron Paul or not? She is an accomplished artist with a powerful voice & she'll do a great job ... BTW, I was referring to Kelly's voice only...There are some entertainers who I absolutely do not support in any way whatsoever, for instance, Mel Gibson, for whom I have lost all respect. I do respect Kelly as an artist. She has been complimentary to Adam in the past and he to her. On a personal note, It is very important to me as well, that any politician that I support also supports basic human rights and is not homophobic, which of course covers a lot of territory, including their stance on Marriage Equality. That is my own personal "litmus test"...As an example, my own WA State Governor, Christine Gregoire, whom I support, and respect, and who is a Democrat, struggled as a result of her Catholic faith for quite awhile, but recently introduced a bill to the State Legislature to pass full Marriage Equality in our state, which we are currently almost at already, with our Domestic Partnership laws. She very emotionally and eloquently delivered a speech that among other things stated that her own marriage is about love, and as a result came to understand and embrace the concept that marriage is about LOVE NOT LAWS. If two people are in love they should be allowed to marry. In her opinion and mine, all the excuses that are made to against same sex marriage are just not valid. My opinion again. Sorry about the OFF TOPIC...

And I do agree, Adam would most likely be a rather controversial choice to sing at the Super Bowl. Right now, he has more important things to do, with his promo just getting started, with probably a full schedule of events happening for him, and I'm guessing he has given it no to little thought. And I absolutely agree that for him to sing at the Olympics with QUEEN, and be seen by the entire planet, if that does happen, would be incredible and much more important to his career than the Super Bowl. Super Bowl: not a particularly good fit for him...although he WOULD be the best of the best, as we all know. He is like no other when it comes to singing the Star Spangled Banner....

Just a reminder. It might have been awkward for Adam, as Monte will be there performing at the Half Time Show with Madonna.

I agree that all the "rednecks" would hate Adam singing solo. There is lots of hissing and booing going on about Madonna doing half time (and I agree, actually). But....Adam singing with Queen at half time, now THAT would be awesome! And the rednecks would be ok since a lot of them love the old rock headbanger music. For me, football and Adam...what a great day!

One more thought: Adam calls us his "passionate" fans, he's definitely right about that!

Adam doesn't even like sports/football, etc. - why would he put himself in that kind of position for possible booing, sneering? Is there really someone so naive that they would think that would not happen to some degree? Adam knows where he is loved and respected and it ain't on the field of pro sports.

If Adam want to perform on Super Bowl he needs to buy a lot of makeup remover lotions and waterproof eye makeup removers! Noe eyeliner, not glitter, no Boy Georgish hats! Mercury yellow jacket, white pants and boxer's shoes, are acceptable:D No jacket, no t-shirt, just naked torso would be acceptable also.Women love you, ADam!!!!
