Cookoo is co-written by Bonnie McKee; not Katy Perry. Bonnie McKee has written songs for Katy Perry.

Broken English?? :D

is this the order thats leaked? coz the tracks themselves were confirmed by Rolling Stone (Shady) and the rest by Byron Cooke :S

Broken English, I would think would be about Sauli.
Sounds corny

Didnt know Sauli's sister was at the bar in Finland when their fight broke out. If anyone is curious, here goes: if not pass on by this comment. I know deep down most will want to read this.

That Led to Arrest
by Whitney Ricketts

Mom was right: Nothing good happens after midnight. As we previously reported, American Idol alum Adam Lambert got into a drunken brawl with his boyfriend, Finnish reality star Sauli Koskinen, at 4:00 a.m. Thursday morning in Helsinki, and the pair was arrested and taken to jail. The couple was partying with friends at gay bar Don’t Tell Mama — but then the merriment took an angry turn.

Finnish newspaper Iltalehti has the play-by-play: “According to Sauli’s Big Brother costar Niko Nousiainen, the two started a verbal argument which they took to the DTM kitchen.
All of a sudden Sauli’s sister runs out to say that help is needed. When Niko got to the kitchen they were wrestling on the floor.” The police were called to break up the brawl and Sauli and Adam were taken to be interrogated at the police station, at which point they reportedly told authorities “they were both fairly intoxicated” and they did not want to press charges against the other. The pair has since been released from jail and the case is now closed, according to Finnish authorities.

I for one am tired of whole Finland thing, Adam owned, says he's learned from, taking steps to prevent it from happening again, end of story.Let's talk about the music.

Anonymous said...

We don't need to hear about the rumble in Finland anymore. Time to concentrate on the great music coming our way. Wonder if the song he wrote with Bruno Mars will be on the album.

Anonymous said...

True, Finnish fight is over, until next time.

Anonymous said...

Bruno and Adam will be sic together. Great.

Anonymous said...

I can't wait to hear the song with My guy Nile and Adam. My deluxe is already ordered.

Anonymous said...

Which song Adam co-writed with Bruno?

Anonymous said...

I love the song titles! So sexy and edgy. Don't care if this is the order or not. There are other titles to come. I feel that Adam's voice will really be "up front" on most of these tracks. We'll hear that great soaring sound! It's getting close, everybody! Remember, Adam urged us to request BTIKM, so let's do it! Finland thing is history. Let it go.

OT but here is the latest on the lawsuit:

Adam Lambert Nears Settlement of Lawsuit Claiming He Wasn't Eligible for 'American Idol' (Exclusive)
10:28 AM PST 1/9/2012 by Eriq Gardner

Adam Lambert is wrapping up a settlement of a lawsuit that suggested he shouldn't have been allowed to appear on American Idol because he already signed to a record label.

Lawsuit Suggests Adam Lambert Was Ineligible for 'American Idol' (Exclusive)

In November, the singer was sued by Colwel Platinum Entertainment after he allegedly interfered with its efforts to market a Lambert album entitled Beg For Mercy. Lambert recorded the work between April 2007 and September 2008, and was said to have executed a Music Services Agreement and Co-Publishing Agreement with one of Colwel's subsidiaries.

A few months after making the recordings, despite rules that forbid the eligibility of those with recording contracts, Lambert appeared on the eighth season of Fox's hit singing competition show.
After Lambert became famous from his participation on American Idol, Colwel attempted to release Beg For Mercy on Amazon.com. Lambert was unhappy about this, tweeting about his surprise and having his reps send a takedown notice to Amazon.
Colwel responded by suing Lambert for making a false claim under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
PHOTOS: The Top 25 Concert Tours of 2011
According to the original lawsuit, Colwel says it spent more than $200,000 to produce the recordings, fronted Lambert a loan when he was struggling financially, and held up contracts as proof that it owned a 50 percent publishing share of the recordings and had an unconditional right to promote and sell the album.
The issue of Lambert's eligibility on American Idol wasn't core to the claims, but the lawsuit was potentially embarrassing anyway. When THR published a story about this lawsuit in November, Lambert tweeted, "Remember than in any dispute, reserve judgement until all the facts surface from ALL parties. Guilt and innocence come with a complete story."
But it now appears that the dispute isn't going very far.
The attorneys for both parties recently submitted a request to extend the time that certain papers had to be submitted. According to the stipulation, "The parties' transactional counsel have negotiated and agreed upon the material terms of a settlement...reflected in a series of emails between said counsel."
The judge was told that an executed agreement would be completed by Friday.
The attorney for the plaintiffs has confirmed to us that a settlement is being finalized, but couldn't offer details about the confidential terms. Lambert's reps haven't yet responded to our requests for information.

So they managed to extort money from Adam (or his people) by releasing this fake album. Wonder how much of that money Monte got since he acted like he had a controlling interest in some of the music involved.

Don't worry folks, everything will comeback positive for Adam because greedy people will not be successful no matter what!!!!!

I thought Monte said that he and Adam had sold the rights to the album, for a generous amount of money.
I am wondering if the fight is about Adams reps stopping the sale of the album with Amazon. Now they want compensation for albums that might have sold during that time.
Beg for Mercy is now on sale again.

Well OUCH!!! All sorts of different topics on this thread, which began with talking about TRESPASSING tracks. Back to the topic : )

I posted this blog from Byron Cooke yesterday on two other threads but might as well bring it up here. Been working all day so finally got the chance to do it. As many know, Adam did a video interview with Byron yesterday in LA, and before that, Byron was allowed to preview 6 tracks from the album, something I am intensely jealous of, but this is the next best thing, reading about these 6 songs on the album:

Byron Cooke's Blog: http://byroncooke.com/6newtracks/

"Y’ALL READY FOR THIS???!!!! 6 NEW ADAM LAMBERT TRACKS!"

"I've just come out of an exclusive Adam Lambert listening session in Los Angeles and can reveal track titles & details on not 1, not 2…but SIX brand new Adam Lambert tracks from his forthcoming new album “Trespassing” in-stores March 20th.
A HUGE thanks to Adam & his team [JoAnn & Leah] for giving me the opportunity to listen to some ROUGH mixes of the tracks. This stuff is so hot it’s not even finished! The guys are ok with me sharing some info with you, so here goes!
1 ] TRESPASSING : The title track [written by Adam & Pharrell Williams] is BANGIN! Really feelin that “We Will Rock You” inspired opening rhythm, the bass lines got an “Another One Bites The Dust” feel to it and theres a really cool guitar hook. Best line has gotta be “Wait till ya get a load of me”. Theres a breakdown part near the end just straight Adam vox and drums..no bass. Sick.
2] COOKOO : Ollie Gee, Bonnie McGee & Adam co wrote this. Bonnies previous credits include several Katy Perry hits. Cookoo is another one for the hit list! Wont give too much away on this one! Wait till ya hear it! Definately a party jam.

3] BROKEN ENGLISH : An anthemic, slower tempo track co written with Adam by Lester Mendez [Enrique, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Dido]. A beautiful love song which might just possibly be autobiographical. “I know you will understand I gotta tell you somehow”. Like say you had a partner whos 1st language wasnt English….you might encounter this situation! Quite haunting in parts & some fat beats ..an amazing song.
4] UNDERNEATH : Another track from Adam’s “darker side” and definately one of the stand outs. Its stripped back basically to piano and vocals & REALLY lets Adams vocal shine…at least in the rough mix I was played. You got to remember these tracks are SO new they arent even finished yet!
5] KICKIN IN : Damn it got this white boy movin! [dont worry I wont show you my moves] Written by Pharrell, its a club banger and for mine…a HIT! “She puts the shot glass down, she asks for another round, girl dont u hit the ground, is it kickin in”. Funky shit.
6] CHOKEHOLD : Adam didnt play me the song but went out of his way to tell me about it at lunch. Hes really excited for people to hear it when its ready. Says its got a 90′s Depeche Mode feel to it…I say bring it on!
Follow me on twitter [@byroncooke] for all the details on when you can hear & see todays interview with Adam Lambert. You’ll hear more on the meaning behind these songs from the man himself and [surprise surprise] we managed to have some fun as well….mainly at my expense!"

***Update: Byron tweeted a little while ago and said he is still waiting for the okay from Adam's management in NYC to post his interview...So we wait....

http://popcrush.com/adam-lambert-vs-lana-del-rey-sound-off/

Adam against Lana Del Rey! He needs our votes. However, I don't think she has any chances to win.
So, we'll see who's gonna be singer #5! If ADam will stay on sound-off for 5 days, BTIKM will be on Hall of Fame!

WOW!A lot of people need to go out and start their own blogs. We have seen all of these comments before, either posted by the owner of this site or by other fans. Interesting, yes, but not over-and-over again.

The new track names, the co-writers/contributors etc. are getting me really excited. I'm also happy to see OOL showing up as a regular track on the cd - bonus track my eye! (I'll probably buy the deluxe anyway but OOL is amazing and the more amazing songs on the regular cd, the better.)

Hmmmm Broken English is the title of a Marianne Faithful song ... I remember it well and I'm not too old ...just wondering.

I wish a lot of people start to buy Adam new single and listen BTIKM on youtube. If Adam has a less as 500,000 real fans why these fans didn't buy BTIKM from youtube or amazon or ADam official?

Anonymous said...

I'm afraid it's gonna be the same story with Tresspasing on March. Everybody say that they want to listen the songs from new album. But it seems that not so many Adam's fans want to buy it. How many albums were pre-sold so far? Where are 1,300,000 twitter follows?

Two Demos on youtube claiming they're Adam's. I don't know. Probably not, but I like them. They both sound European. As a foreigner living is U.S. I dig this type of music. But U.S. fans might not like them. Here:

@9:34PM I believe there are five more polls left on PopCrush to make BTIKM on Hall of Fame. RCA wants us to vote to the end. I guess it's important. So please don't forget to vote.

What about "Get Over It"? It isn't included on Byron's blog despite the fact that part of it has been leaked. I really and truly hope it's on "Trespassing". I LOVE the snippet I heard of it.

The BMW link won't let me open it. :-(

OOL will be a good song, because it has many meanings. Not only sexuality. Adam has a winning way of writing. He opens the door for everyone.

jetlag doesnt cause blackouts, alcohol does. sauli may not be a good influence on adam. since sauli, adam has lost one of his good friends, monte, got thrown in jail. been drunker than drunk more often. wonder whats next.

i can hear the firing squad now, but true. sometimes its the sweet ones, you have to watch out for.

adams a big boy, always hope he stays safe and happy.

The Finland thing was Adam's biggest wake-up call, I think. Apparently, he was a huge partier all through his twenties. But his 30th birthday (as he said himself) has got him to thinking about his life and how he behaves. There comes a point where drunken parties just aren't cool anymore. I don't think we're going to see another incident like this from either of them. I give Adam the benefit of the doubt, and I think he's sincere in trying to improve his behavior and cut out the booze. Just looking on the positive side instead of the negative. BTW Sauli had nothing to do with the Monte thing.

I hope we all haven't forgotten that a 2012 tour depends on good sales. We all know that Adam does not sell like Gaga and Beiber and Rhianna, etc., but we CAN give him a good showing by doing what we're all talking about: requesting his music wherever we can, and buying as much of his music as we can. We're all talking about a tour as if it's a given, but tours are not automatic. That being said, I think he'll tour this year, but his fans can't slack off!
OOFTA!

I think what's gotten Adam to think about his life is not so much turning 30 (even though he has said so) but the fact that when he acts out on wild episodes, its not so private as in the past. His moves makes the news in a flash, especially the not so good moves. Gossip loves not so nice.

Also he has to buffer his actions with a good resolution, let alone be civil for all his promotions coming up. Thats a given, he is a smart cookie. I never doubt him.
He has so much street smarts and knows how to use them.

People can go crazy and be wild in their 40's, age doesnt always hold a barrier. Especially for the partyiers , dont think he will ever loose the cool feeling of the social scene.
He gets out on the town and wham it up and nothing wrong with that.
Hope fans dont want him to become an old man before his time.
Party on Adam!

Jan.12 @8:25, I'm an Adam LLambert fan, but the reason I didn't buy BTIKM is because I didn't like it that much. It's ok, but enough to buy it. I've been a fan of lots of musicians over the years, but I don't buy everything they put out, only the stuff I like. For example, my favorite band is U2, but, frankly a couple of their albums sucked. I didn't buy them. I am going out on a limb and buying Trespassing without hearing anything of the other tracks based on curiosity alone.

Broken English was the song Adam was working on with Sam Sparro and Lester Mendez.

And one list said the Nikka Costa
song was included. I'm very hopeful.
