And Adam once said many many months ago that Matt Bomer was his type. That was when he was still out there "looking".

She should of tried out for the voice.

Who is this girl? She has a great voice. Considering how nervous she was, this was a great rendition of Etta's song. Looking forward to the Fuse Show!

@fanatapan - noticed the same thing about Adams face. Miss Etta James and that voice of hers - RIP. Read about Matt yesterday at afterelton but wasnt sure if it was a much wished for "joke" since they love him on that site. ... Adamluv

Noelle had to be so nervous with Adam so close. She has a good, powerful voice, but needs help with breath control which would make a world of difference. I'm surprised she could breathe at all! Adam was so attentive and in the moment, totally focusing on her. I wish the video lasted a few minutes longer to see the exchange between them when the song ended. I assumed the Fuse program was about Adam introducing the top 20 radio/video hits. Wonder what the occasion was for her to sing before Adam. I give her so much credit for not fainting dead away!

OT..HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE! My valentine is no longer living, but we had many special ones while he was alive. He always surprised me with mystery trips or something I would never imagine. He would tell me to pack a bag with hints of type of clothing I would need, but never tell me where we were going until we arrived at our destination. One of the most romantic things he did was to hire a harp player to sit beside our table at a very fine restaurant and have her play Claire De Lune that was a particular favorite of mine that I shared with him on our first date. I was speechless, which rarely happens! lol He never missed sending me a dozen long stemmed red roses, even when he was many times hospitalized critically ill. He had my son make sure they were always delivered. What a change from the first husband that usually celebrated in some strange bar without me. Another example of the dark and lightness of life that ended with much light. Happy day to all of you, not just today, but every day..

aww, nice memories Funbunn.

I too would have like the video to go on another minute to see his reaction. He had a very serene look on his face listening to this.

I have a copy of my then 18yo daughter singing this song on my ipod, she sings it beautifully....

This girl was nervous as hell but managed to pull it off. I'm sure she has sung this song many times without having the breath problems and nerves. She did fine considering Adam Lambert was sitting a few feet away! She has a good strong voice that needs training. Adam's been there and knows what she's going through. Wish we could hear his comments.

JAK here...........I'm with you gals. I was expecting to get to see him pop up and give her one of his extra special hugs! Not an easy song to sing accapella (acapella--?) whatever. I thought she was really good, I kept expecting a note that would make me wince....but not one! Good job!

Well she has guts, to sing in front of Adam whom she obviously adores. I couldn't keep my eyes of his face, very attentive and his whole demeanor showed respect for her.

Thanks for sharing you beautiful love story with us funnbunn.

Hi. This is Noelle's mom. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the compliments. Yes, my daughter was nervous as hell! I don't know how she was able to pull herself together, but she did. She has not had any vocal training yet. We're in the process of looking. Adam has been her inspiration since she first laid eyes and ears on him on American Idol. He's the best!

Hi, I'm Noelle's mom. Thanks so much for the kind words. I think she did a pretty good job considering she has not had any vocal training. And yes, Noelle was nervous as hell! I don't know how she was able to pull herself together, but she did. She's been crazy about Adam ever since she first laid eyes and ears on him on American Idol. He's her inspiration. And he's as wonderful in person as he appears on TV! Noelle is the happiest girl in the world right now.

I just wanted to give my most sincere thanks to all the extremely warm and supportive comments Noelle has gotten from so many people. I must say that this has been a wonderful experience. We were totally blown away by Adam Lambert's generosity. He made this special opportunity completely about Noelle and made her feel like she was walking on thin air.
Best Regards and much love to all.

A very lovely young girl with a promising future--I don't know how she held it together either--standing that close to Adam and singing--also would like to have seen the end with comments from Adam.

To Yvette and Bart Dadon

How proud you must be of your daughter, she is well named, (Noelle-Christmas), since she has a gift. I'll remember her name and hope to be hearing it again in the future!...........JAK

Being a singer all my life in various places ... I must say that ...

a) This girl has tremendous vocal power & range & with some professional training she can be a good singer & a relevant artist

b) Singing a capella is hard enough but singing a capella in front of ADAM & not messing up or trembling (visibly) is really great

Brava!! GREAT rendition ... mom & dad should be proud of this little lady & I'm certain they both are!!! Brava!! Noelle!!

@Noelle's parents, Thanks so much for commenting on this site. Noelle really has talent and held it together so well. Hope she will keep pursuing her vocal path. We would love to hear more about how she came to sing for Adam and what he said afterwards. He is the perfect one to give her advice. Many aren't aware that he has been performing in musical theatre since he was 10 and he really has been excellently trained. He's also honest, kind and unselfishly is happy to help others. How wondeful for Noelle to have this opportunity and for you all to meet this very special wonderful man. As you can see, we are devoted fans, respecting the man as well as his unique, diverse talent. We'll be looking for Noelle and cheering her on!

@Noelle's parents, you must be so proud of Noelle! She did an amazing job, especially never having had any training! Thank you for posting on this site and come back and visit and post! I agree with funbunn40, tell us what happened at the end!

Tess4ADAM, I figured you had to have some sort of musical training based on your knowledgable comments about Adam's singning. I have suspected Lam-my too!

To Noelle's parents...your daughter has an amazing voice for someone so young! Kinda like listening to a young "Adele". I wish her all the best. We need more true singers (like our Adam),who don't need all the gimmicks and autotune to perform!

My other thought....man, I want Adam to sing this song (preferably to me, but I digress lol)! Wouldn't he be amazing though?! I also want him to sing "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You"!

I mean, what song can't this guy sing!!!! I'm such a gonner (sigh)

WOW!! Noelle has an amazing voice!! To Noelle's parents, you must be so very proud of your gifted daughter. She had Adam's full attention from go to whoa, and such a beautiful expression on his face. I've seen the lovely photos of her with Adam. :)

I want to say "Thanks!" again for posting such nice things about this video and my daughter. It's my pleasure to post on a site with such terrific people.
Just wanted to provide a little more info about this amazing meeting. This meeting was arranged by the Garden of Dreams, a Madison Square Garden organization that makes dreams come true for children with serious illnesses. Noelle has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. The Garden of Dreams is also hosting a talent show where Noelle will be performing this song at Radio City Music Hall. Adam asked to hear it.
My older daughter Alexandra was the one who recorded this incredible event. She is also crazy about Adam, so holding the video recorder steady was almost as difficult as it was for Noelle to sing in front of him! When Noelle finished the song, I don't think Alexandra was clearheaded enough to realize she should keep recording a bit longer. She just immediately turned off the recorder to applaud with the rest of us. She was also concerned about whether of not it was okay to record Adam for much longer.
After Noelle finished the song, Adam jumped up and congratulated her, giving her the sweetest hug. He told her she did a great job and rocked it (I wish there had been more time to get some pointers from him)! He then asked her what she was going to wear for the performance at Radio City Music Hall. He suggested black (of course), so that's what she's going to wear! After singing in front of Adam, I think the big stage at Radio City should be a breeze! I myself, am going to faint.
Thanks again for your interest, and God Bless!

JAK here.........UH HUH...I knew he would hug her! One of the first of his many attractive qualities I first noticed. We are a family of huggers and the feeling of being wrapped in loving arms is sooooooo comfy.

THANK YOU EVETTE! What an amazing, once in a lifetime event for Noelle and your family! You are absolutely right, Radio City Music Hall will be a breeze after singing in front of Adam! Wow! I have loved every minute hearing about your adventure! I was lucky to be able to meet and HUG Adam at a radio promotion in San Francisco! I guess I am coming down off of that natural high! Thank you so much for coming back and telling "the rest of the story"!! Please send our love and best wishes to Noelle for her upcoming Radio City Music Hall performance! She will be GREAT!!

@Yvette, Thanks so much for the rest of the story! We are so thrilled for both of your daughters having the opportunity to meet Adam and for Noelle to sing for him. What a wonderful experience it will be for her to sing at Radio City Music Hall! She will be fantastic and we all wish her well! Hope you all come back and visit us on 24/7. Most of us have never followed a celebrity before, but Adam has captured our hearts. He has a beautiful, uplifting spirit and is as kind as he is talented. We'll be looking for Noelle on American Idol, The voice, etc. and cheer her on!
