Love that pic . . . don't know why some designer hasn't approach him
to model.

I believe that is Nina Garcia's magazine (she is editor)

If Adam was not a performer, he could very well be a very well paid high fashion designer model in Europe and here in America. He has so many different looks and wears clothes with such style and flair. Eventually he will probably have his own fragance as most of the celebs now have and perhaps even a line of clothing with his name on it. If JLO and Marc Anthony can do it(and so have many other celebs}_, so can Adam. But his designs/fashions would only be in high end stores in NYC or Beverly Hills. I suppose that Nina was so impressed with Adam when he appeared as a judge on Project Runway, that she just had to do this article and pic with him. Everyone wants Adam Lambert now, but we as his devoted fans from day 1 knew exactly what we saw in this handsome, stylish, articulate, charming and very talented individual.

OT I hope Queen & Adam will perform
"Radio GaGa"
"Another Bites Of Dust"
"The Miracle"
"Fat Bottom Girls"
"Under Pressure"
"Don't Stop Me Now"
Unfortunately,"Killer Queen" and "Mr. Bad Guy" are politically and sexually incorrect (STILL!!!!!)
If you never listen these songs find them on youtube. Thee are FANTASTIC!

Could someone please post the link to this pic in the comments section? For some reason, we can't open the pics on this website since last Friday.
Thx!!

OT Mediabase BTIKM #24 up from #29, the number one spin gainer, yay! Keep requesting daily and hopefully all this radio promo will get it into the top 20 by next week! Yes Adam could be a model easily, so gorgeous looks and the voice!

Adam is a natural model. Lovely body and moves. And a face and hair that can look a million different ways. Designers HAVE to be looking at him and thinking, oh my God. He can do cutting edge modern, retro, classic, casual, formal. You name it. I also predict a high-end clothing line in his future.

Is this one of the photos from the Mike Ruiz photo shoot a year or 2 ago, it looks like it belongs with them.

JAK here...........I'm a little bit ashamed of myself these last few months (not much but a little).
Now that our boy is here, there and everywhere, and 2012 IS proving to be his year, every new magazine cover or performing date or hug from Elton makes me want to shout "YES, I KNEW IT ALL ALONG". When others were dismissing him ,I (along with various Glamberts, Lambskanks, Glambrits and others worldwide) had confidence that someone that talented could not be ignored. Marie Claire magazine, WOW, performing with Queen,WOW, partying with Elton John, WOW !!
Vindication is Sweet! I prefer not to think of it as gloating..that sounds so petty! ^o^

We are very patient and it paid off!!!!

HARDSHIP=SUCCESS there you go....:)

Adam looking smokin' in Marie Claire! Nina knows quality and elegance! Eat your words, GQ! Adam is becoming so well known in the fashion world. I read an article about the new trend this season in men's fashion and Adam was wearing it in the Fault magazine shoot on the cover. I've also noticed other entertainers seeming to follow suit after Adam a year later. Ceelo with his sequined suits, Adam's hairstyles, etc. Adam definitely is a trend setter.

@Anon 2;40 - thanks for mediabase update. Good news!

Dayum I have so many wonderful magazines to get. RS has a small article and nice picture in it, I ordered the Fault magazine and now this one. woo hoo, I hope Glamberts show their support and buy them if they can. Oh I forgot about the USA Today with Adam and Kelly O. That is the best news in the world that the spins of BTIKM went up some too.

I can't quite express this feeling I have that Adam is being embraced by so many in so many places after all this time. I'm thrilled for him ,of course, and know he belongs to everyone- everywhere, who loves and appreciates music. However, I, like many of you, have loved him from the very first moments on Idol and recognized his magnetism as a singer and person-and was left mesmerized by his beautiful voice and persona. Not once did I feel turned off by any of his haircut styles, his sexual preference, comments, performances {including AMA},his decisions regarding track releases etc. I just love him for the artist he is and the gift he shares with us. I'm a bit reluctant to admit that there's a little part of me that selfishly wants to keep him with just us Glamberts and looks at all these celebrity contacts and photos with a bit of disdain. Don't worry-I know this is the world Adam was destined to inhabit and I wish him only the best. I just hope he always keeps himself grounded and surrounded by those friends and family who truly love him-as he always says he will.
I wonder if anyone else understands or shares my sentiments.....

@Lorraine, Of course we would love to put him in a frame and hold him against our hearts because we love him as a performer and a person but we also want many people to be aware and eventually like or even love his great performance and personality... and therefore ensure his longevity as a succesful performer.

Anonymous said...

Lorraine...I'm so with you too! I luv all the great publicity, press, and accolades Adam is finally getting. And once "Trespassing" is released (based on all the critical praise it's already received), the Adam Storm is really going to kick in high gear! Oh, and then the Queen gigs!! Whew!

I'm so happy that the whole world is now waking up to to his fabulousness, and wants a piece of him, wants to be in his presence! But, sometimes I feel like saying "wait,he's mine, all mine!!" LOL. I kinda liked when he was our "little beautiful secret". He's come so far from his Idol days, it's amazing! I have no doubt he will stay the beautiful humble, gracious, appreciative soul he's always been. This is going to be an awesome year for him (and us)!

Hang on y'all...we're in for a wild and fantastic ride!!

Thank you for understanding. And---@ 10:52 I love your description "our little beautiful secret" although, NO MORE!

@Lorraine, Me too! I wish Adam worldwide acceptance and success, but the selfish side of me wants to keep the smaller venues that allowed us to see Adam and the band up close after the GNT. The dancers would tweet pics from the bus along the way and it seemed so connected with fans seeing each other at more than one venue. The big stadiums will end all of that and Adam will be seen on huge tv screens and quickly whisked away aferwards. The M&Gs will be available for only a few, but that is the price of fame for fans. He will reach the success that we all wish for him, but we will see him from afar.

Adam Lambert will be busy over the next couple weeks to continue creating buzz for his upcoming album, Trespassing. He is scheduled to stop at radio stations in several cities across the US to do intimate acoustic concerts of some of his new music. Fans are clamoring to win radio station contests, as this is the only way to get into these exclusive shows. The promotion tour starts on Monday with an "Exclusive Mix" session in the Dallas Mix 102.9 Mazda Music Lounge. On Tuesday, he will be in the Houston Mix 96.5 Live Lounge. Then on Thursday Adam is off to Atlanta to perform at both Q100 and Star 94. On Friday, he will be at 107.5 The River in Nashville for a performance and meet and greet.

The promotion tour continues the following week with stops in Washington DC for a lunchtime performance at Mix 107.3 and then to Connecticut for more acoustic radio performances. Check out the websites for Kiss 95.7, KC 101.3 and 96.5 TIC to win passes into the Connecticut shows. On March 14, Adam will be in Boston (Mix 104.1) for an intimate performance and one lucky fan will also win a meet and greet with him. Next, it's off to Kansas City, Missouri on March 19 for a performance at 99.7 The Point. Finally, Adam will also be hitting up the west coast to visit Live 95.5 in Portland, Oregon on March 25. So far, there have been no other announcements if he will be at any other cities in the area.

Each radio station handles the appearance differently. For example, at a radio station visit in Denver last week, it was a very intimate setting with only nine fans present. Adam performed a couple of acoustic songs and then met and took pictures with all the fans in attendance. Other stations have a larger number in the audience, so chances are better for fans to win entry. However, the larger groups may not have an opportunity to meet Adam. Regardless of how it's done at each radio station, entry into one of these performances is a hot ticket for Adam's fans!

Is Adam Lambert coming to your area? If so, have you won passes into an exclusive acoustic performance? For details about the radio station appearances, check out their websites.

The more people in the world who become aware of Adam through his music and his charismatic nature the better. We Glamberts cannot keep him to ourselves but there will be more Glamberts when people familiarize themselves with Adam's music and fall in love with it and him. I wish him HUGE success and happiness always. There will be fantastic times and not so fantastic times but we will be here to love and support him no matter what.

I think my favorite thing about being a fan who has followed Adam since "mama," if the history we have, the private language we have, the incidents and moments, large and small, that we can refer to and that we all "get." We are a close family with our own private jokes and inside comments that we can share. It's our own shorthand. I love every moment of it. Our journey with Adam continues every day and gives us more to share, the ups and the down, the happy and the sad. He's an important person in so many ways.

@Anony March 4, 2012 2:40 PM - I add my thank you to Adamluv's (Hi Adamluv :)) for the mediabase news - good news indeed!! Absolutely NO REASON for Top 40 & HAC & AC stations to not be spinning BTIKM at this point, completely in keeping with the playlists of these formats.

Keep requesting respectfully! :)

I'm excited to see Adam perform with Queen too, but I just hope it doesn't over shadow his new album Trespassing, as from what I've heard Adam say this is far more important to him in the long run, plus he's put so much hard work into this so I hope he still manages to gain a wider fan base with respect to his new album and not just as a replacement for Freddie Mercury. I do understand that Adam has no intention of stepping into Freddie's shoes but this may be how a number of people will see it.

Wouldn't you know that my subscription has run out on Marie
Clare and I will probably not get this edition. Bah!

It's interesting what picture they chose of Adam here. He looks so much like Freddie in his last days.

Anon 8:36, I think the Queen gig will bring Adam a ton of new fans. I truly believe it in my heart and soul. He will blow the entire concert out of the water. He (IMO) is the headliner for the entire concert. I think it has everything to do with Freddie Mercury having his last concert there. Sure, there will be the naysayers, but I think it will make many curious about him. They will go online to find out more, just like we did! Once they see how charming and talented he is, they will run, not walk to the nearest store to buy Tresspassing.
That's my hope anyway!

I have just read all the positive comments regarding Adam--it just warms my heart--he is such a talent and I too want to see him become a "super star". He deserves it more than any other artist out there today. He works so hard and seems to love his fans and gives them a lot of credit for his success. I do get so upset over the haters and naysayers ---Adam will prove them all wrong!!!
