you have to push up the sound button on the video itself and also your computer's sound to max - the first bit can't be heard and then Adam says can something be done about the sound and from there on it improves - he gives techno instructions re the mike and then sings Cuckoo.

I think Adam is just trying to give a logical explanation for the delay in the release of the album. After all, it is the music business and Adam does not necessarily have the ultimate control in every aspect of the production, marketing and release of this album. Adam did not give up. He did say he is trying to make the best album possible for his fans and I am sure he is,but there are just certain things that are not in his control. If you are a fan, you will be patient and accept his explanation; it is not an excuse. If you are not a fan, well just go on to some no talent, auto-tuned singer putting out their kind of music. Each to his own and mine is Adam Lambert.

I guess because he was in Utah with a large Mormon population, Adam had to censor the f----word in Cuckoo for the listening audience. If this song becomes his next single release, how will the radio stations handle it? I know they changed Cee Lo's to Forget you and Adam Levine had
s--t in Jagger muffled out, so let's see what happens if this Cuckoo ever gets on the radio or Adam performs it on a tv show. The first few times I heard Adam perform the song, I never even heard the f---word in it until I saw the lyrics and then listened again. He would have no problem singing it in concert,but I am interested in how or if the word will be changed.

I think that the album will be awesome when it comes out. I too am a fan of Adam and will not turn my back because his album is delayed no way. After watching idol tonight I cannot wait to see Adam hopefully take that stage again.

When I could finally hear that sound check w/Adam & Tommy,On Cuckoo,Adam just sang the letter"F",& that's all,Since it was for live radio.He was very patient,but there were tech.sound problems,that's for sure,as all of you know.If he makes a video for that song,he'll have to do the same thing,I guess,or change the word..gonna vote some now.I do like Cuckoo a lot.

Katy's video is an interesting concept, but what would she sound like without the studio enhancement? I think she is adorable but not a great voice. I'd be interested in hearing her sing an acoustic song.

I think they have a "singles" problem right now. They probably want to introduce a more upbeat song to promote the cd but BTIKM is still moving up and they probably want it to go as high as it can, so they are going to wait it out.

Radio shuffles singles quickly for singers like Katy Perry or Gaga, whose songs sell millions overnight, but, with a less popular artist, they are going to prefer to stay with the song people know and are voting for over a new single.

Unless a new song hits them over the head, they aren't going to grab it. And, even then, the cd will be timed to a couple of months after the single drops.

Can't be upset with Adam. He's probably as disappointed as anyone. On the bright side: they wouldn't be investing this much time and money in him unless they thought he was worth the effort.

what's the deal with his album??? it seems it gets later and later. that isn't good.

Y'know, when you're selling CDs, esp. in foreign countries, you have to make sure that the CDs are actually physically IN those countries and ready for purchase. So that means packaging, shipping, distributing, stocking, etc. in many countries. This CD had last-minute songs added (a good thing, most likely) that held it back, and now the logistics of getting it out there for purchase.

Katy Perry, Bieber, etc. are established money machines who probably have whole marketing and distribution departments devoted just to them. They don't need to promote because their music will MAKE MILLIONs regardless. They are mainstream and palatable to just about everyone.

Adam is a rough-edged diamond. We just have to help him work his way up. He's not a little tweeny-bopper with millions of built-in mindless fans. He's pure quality. We all want the CD to come out, but harping about it won't help. Let's just enjoy what we have with Adam right now, the promos, the snippets, the NewNowNext, etc.

I don't care how long the album will take really, but I think there are a few things that prevent Adam from being more successful: He's doing only acoustic performances, he thinks he must write all the songs himself and Tommyberts.

Yes, its taking longer than I'd like for the release of the new album ,but I'm loving the promos.So i just relax and enjoy his incredible voice (singing and talking ) giggling and being silly in the Q&A's, playing with Tommy ---Just being himself . Im in this fandom for the long hall and while Adams my absolute favorite entertainer I also have other interests in other areas of my life as well .

I would think the biggest thing with an international release is conflicting release schedules for other stars in different countries. I'm pretty sure packaging and production sre handled concurrently in major markets. CD's aren't shipped across the ocean.

I know this fandom very well. Glamberts didn't like WWFM either. They didn't like Aftermath and not even Sleepwalker much. They liked Fever, because it was written by Gaga and many Glamberts were huge Gaga fans, and also because it became the official Adommy anthem. Not gay anthem, but Tommy anthem. I hear Naked Love is going to be the next Tommy anthem.

Do you think Trespassing has similar concept as Master Plan? I still like Master Plan.

i keep reading comments that Adam has made about the "gay community" of which he is a part..of course, he isn't the only celebrity to refer to it this way..but what bothers me is that i see people on this planet as members of the "human community"..really, how does a person's sexuality make them so "different" we all have the same desires, wants, needs, and we all go through struggles in life...i feel Adam is so very much like anyone else..his sexual orientation is just not a big deal at all..nor is anyone's for that matter...i just cringe every time i read that "gay community" reference..the album..i feel like there are forces going on behind the scenes that we may never be privy to..at one point Adam said that the delay was due to his perfectionism..now he says it's matters beyond his control..can't have it both ways..and yet, maybe it is a little of both...i wonder if the record label was concerned that the album wasn't good enough and wanted to add more tracks..i will wait as long as it takes as I Love Adam...

I think Adam wasted Aftermath. It's interesting that he didn't like the album version of Aftermath. Fever is not modern at all, imo. It's ridiculous, if you happen to like a few Adam's songs that are rock genre, some fans say you only like rock Adam. I don't care what genre it is as long as it's good music. I listen to all types of genres, a lot of dance music, and also rap.

I am very glad for the album delay because if the album came out with the single jut starting to march up the chart, he would have a flop on his hands like Cook did. I think he needs a second dance track single doing something on CHR if that is a possibility before the album drops. Better a successful release than a timely one.
