Well, I have been playing catch up here and my heart is heavy for so many of you that tried and failed to get in to see Adam at these promos.

If there is any advice I can give it's this. Go ahead and show up if you can get the place, date and time. Sometimes the radio station will let you in if there are some no shows!! Just try!!!! It happened to me once (not for Adam though).

Oh, also forgot to mention that they may not let you in right away, but maybe shortly after things get started. Don't give up. This may be your only shot.

What are opinions of people going to multiple promo events in an area? In one of the DC vids Adam makes a comment about repeat customers and they already heard the song twice. Surely that means plenty of people didn't get to see Adam at all.

3:25am: not too pleased about that and it's somewhat selfish and detracts from other possible new fans getting exposed to Adam. I suppose people try for all of them and find out late, but be nice and give them to other who are also trying to see him live. I live in MD and work in DC and tried and tried to get DC promote tickets to no avail. I suspect Adam would rather not see the same fans over and over in the same day (mentioning it was probably a little hint- share the wealth).

I totally agree. Share Adam around! It's the same with Meet & Greets at Adam's concerts. Some people buy multiple Meet & Greets which prevents others from having the opportunity to meet him even once.

btw, I know that London Showcase Tespassing is old news to some... but even if one fan missed it (like me, in the whirlwind of real life and his heavily scheduled promo tour I missed this!) it is a crime. I would hate for any fan to have missed this!!

ps. @daydreamin - your words bout showing up at the promo gigs made me smile! I was going to just "go" to one that was quite close to me, but real life got in the way :(. I would have moved heaven and earth to attend if I actually had tix!!!! But, I decided to roll with real life in the absence of tix :(. Maybe next time 'tho, lol. Seriously, thx for your words on that, they made me smile wistfully.

UGH... I just had a comment dissapear after I spent an incredible ammount of time on it concerned about getting the wording right not to hurt sensitive feelings... well the hell with that.

BOTTOM line--- We ALL love ADAM and WANT to see him have GREAT success, his songs on the radio, HIM up there on stage with that glorious voice PERFORMING on prime time TV, AT award shows, winning awards. THE way that's going to happen is Adam getting MORE notice, by MORE people... and MORE radio requests, one very important thing that WEEEE can do to make a big difference. THAT is the most effective way WE can help.

Yes, let's share the wealth and support Adam,& help him gain NEW fans, he'll go faaaar with MORE fans, not the same selfish, rabid ones driving more away! Right now what would be the biggest help is MORE radio play, MORE requests by MORE, & DIFFERENT people...
which I sort of suspect is one of the reasons for example that vh1 changed the voting policiy. BIG difference between 80,000 individual votes by that many people, and 1000 people voting 800 times, dontcha think??

You get to #1 by MORE peolple wanting to hear or see a song or movie, etc. Talent yes... but NUMBERS talk. How many WAAAAYY less talented people have dominated radio & tv??? Need I say more???

Please let's help Adam by getting his music played MORE often so MORE people will hear it... GET him on prime time tvf so MORE people cna see and hear him.

Cindy, thanks so much for your great pep talk! I'm doing everything I can do to promote Adam, and I know thousands upon thousands are doing the same.
BTW That Trespassing performance will be one of Adams "iconic" ones. Who woulda thought that a gay while boy from San Diego could sing with such grit and soul and attitude? He could sing with ANYONE in ANY STYLE and hold his own with no problem. He is truly amazing.

If I have to talk to a site, or business place over the phone. I am always promoting Adam. And bringing up his name. I usually get positive feedback from the other person. Love to advertise for him and his new album any way I can. Love that man so much.

I think Adam has a nice around about way of making a point.
As in repeat fans attending the promo's. Seeing the same ole faces.
He appreciates, but then again it would be nice to see different fans.
Just like when he asked them to step back, that was so funny.
Let him breath.
Also I gather, he's not to keen with all the camera's flashing in front of him.
He's made few comments about that too.

I wish some people didn't have to be front and center at every event. And I wish some people wouldn't keep shoving at concerts until they get one or two people closer to the stage. I still haven't decided if they carry giant-ass purses intentionally for stabbing you in the ribs or if it's a happy coincidence for them.

I hope Adam's subtle message gets through. If you get extra tickets, share the wealth!

Its true about just turning up at the radio stations. I just read from a fan from another site that one tickets to one of the radio events in Chicago (I think), that there were a group of about 20 non ticket winners that were there to catch a glimpse of Adam, and that at the time when the tickets holders were supposed to go in less than half of the winners had showed up, so the station let in all those outside.

So if you can go to a promo event near you, take the risk, you never know it just might pay off.

Thanks "pissed" - you speak so true. Sometimes people reveal their "uncomfortable" side when they don't even mean to .... like advising Adam where he should perform so some fans(?) would feel uncomfortable? Pleez!! Like Adam said recently, "baby steps"!
