Interesting that he stopped and gave them the names of his two favourites on Idol this season. I think he has a soft spot for anyone with the b*lls to compete and won't miss an opportunity, even in a situation like this, to give a boost to the singers who he thinks deserve it.

To everyone here writing "...how he stays so civil with these guys is beyond me...", it's VERY important that he does stay civil. These people are just waiting for Adam to NOT be civil so they can write terrible stories about him in the gossip papers.

Adam handles himself perfectly with them (friendly with just a little touch of sarcasm). We all know that ONE word said the wrong way, and the papz jump on it and distort all the facts.

I like this video; gives a good feel of the wide LA street, with all its lights and the loud vehicles whizzing by. And..."You don't even know what you're talking about!" Adam and Sauli walking down the street...sounds like a good start for another poem. They both look handsome in their own way. After all the flutters and flusters, Sauli still manages to stay so cool and calm. As I always say, strength comes from within. :)

Has anyone noticed (or has this been mentioned in an earlier thread?) that Adam is no longer driving his Idol "gift," the Ford Mustang convertible, and now has a BMW, as seen in this video?

Somehow I would have thought Adam would have gone for something more well known as a "sports car" such as a Jaguar, Porsche, Ferrari or Maserati, or even a Mercedes sporty model -- OR even the American-made Corvette.

When I lived in LA, the BMW was more of a car for yuppies/married couples and/or folks who worked BEHIND the scenes like agents, publicists, directors and producers. But maybe I'm behind the times.

Or maybe Adam decided to go a bit conservative. After all, he did "suffer" (if you can call it that) with the Mustang for 2+ years -- he was still driving it as evidenced in similar videos in at least the past six months.

Thing about Adam, he never tries to come off like a snobby big spender in any way whatsoever, which is a great quality about him. But I'm glad to see that he's able to enjoy some new wheels.

@7:55PM From your comment, I can tell you watch Top Gear a lot cause those guys on that show hate BMW and make fun of German cars. Kind of understandable, why, Brits aren't really over the WWII ordeal yet. BMW is a desirable brand of car among young kids here in SoCal.

Adam isn't home that much. I dont' think it matters what kind of car he drives as long as it's not dorky. He's on the road a lot anyway.

@7:55 Adam did mention in an interview recently that he got rid of the mustang, because TMZ made fun of him for driving it. He said he got a used BMW.

Still thinking the 17th Top 3 week for Adam to be on Idol..He said he'll be on but the last we heard from him and his last official comment when asked "When??" was "I'll be on, but I'm not sure when yet.." That was very recently in an interview..so guess we'll be hearing soon-ish..I doubt he'll be on the Finale due to his radio concert schedule. Even the 17th is a stretch, as he has a concert in the Chicago area the next day : / ..so hoping to hear soon! Currently the Top 3 week spot performers has not been announced..All other weeks have Idol alum spots filled. for the most part..So it sounds like the 17th..Really really hoping we'll find out soon..The Season 11 Wiki page did list Adam as appearing on Top 3 night for quite awhile.(It was not an official listing..).but now it lists no one..Suspense!!!

Wow! I guess as one of you guys said earlier too, Adam's name is already associated with Queen and all the greatness it brings!

This writer believes Idol's recent "Queen Night" was mostly a stint to attract Glamberts or simply those who would have liked to see the "Adam Lambert's glorified performance with Queen" again, after the amazing finale performance on season 8.

It's a great article. Although it may be a little disappointment because it seems he/she is a Glambert like us, so the statements would be inevitable for them regarding Adam's greatness, but it seems like a popular music blog so then again it's a great well-deserved exposure for Adam's true greatness.

I follow Dr. Funkenberry on twitter, and yes he's a big Adam fan (YAY!!) but is also a relatively well known LA music blogger and covers other performers as well. But he has always been an Adam fan, and has interviewed Adam as well.

I responded to his comments immediately after he posted his blog and comments on Twitter, and I have to say I don't agree with your assessment that he was implying that Idol had Queen on "as a stint to attract Glamberts", although as a dyed-in-the-wool Glambert, I have to say I always enjoy seeing Queen (and of course ADAM) perform (preferably with Adam at this point!). Roger and Brian were on Idol mainly to promote their Queen Tribute Band, "Queen Extravaganza" which will be touring North America this summer, and which we know is completely separate from Queen and Adam..

We as Adam Lambert fans, including Dr. Funkenberry, were certainly WISHING that Adam would have been on..but that really isn't what the show was about. It would have been an amazing BONUS to have Adam there, even in the audience, but in reality he was appearing on this little late night show called Jimmy Kimmel Live and it just wouldn't have worked out anyway. He is a very busy man! I WAS however disappointed that Adam was not given a mention on the show regarding his association with Queen and the concerts in Europe this summer.. It certainly would have been appropriate, given that Adam was one of Idol's biggest success stories and got his start with Queen on the Idol Finale. I assume that when Adam is on Idol in the next few weeks to perform again on the Idol stage that SOMEONE will mention that little bit of info, that Adam will be performing with Queen.

While I agree it would have been great to have had Adam on with Queen, at this point I would much rather have him on Idol singing his new single, promoting his own new music...but at the very least they should have mentioned him, shown a couple of photos. You would have thought that Idol as a show would be very proud of the fact that one of its alumni was singing lead with such an iconic band and would want to promote it...at the very least to rub the noses of The Xfactor and The Voice in it..

Hey! Sauli is about the same hight as my brother, and nobody ever said he is "tiny". Not maybe tall, but clearly in average group. Same thing for my son, (even though he seems to grow still), but he is already pretty normal size man. And in average Finns are tall.

What makes Sauli "tiny", is not his height but his fitness, no extra gramm anywhere. And of course being in company with his partner :).

On average Scandinavian men are quite tall but Sauli seems to be of average height. What makes him seem petite or tiny is that he has a very small compact frame, he is not thin but has a very nice healthy muscled body. If anyone has seen the pics with him and his sisters, he seems to tiny and delicate next to them.

Having said that, the best thing about him is he makes Adam HAPPY!! Since I was introduced to Adam years back, its the first time I've seen him this happy, confident and seemingly content with his personal and professional life. The fact that Sauli is a beautiful, sweet, genuine, positive and absolutely adorable guy is just the cherry on top.

Hope Adam performs on AI as it would boost the sales of his single and album tremendously. May 15th get here already!!!!!!!!!!

Sauli`s height is 172cm. So he is not short, of course when Adam has high heels Sauli looks more smaller.

I have never thought of Sauli as short. Of course, he looks short next to Adam, who is 6'1" and usually has on heeled boots of some kind, which make him probably close to 6'3" or more depending on the shoes. I know men in my life who are 5'6" - 5'9" or so and they don't seem short. It's all in the personality. Sauli has a masculine, muscled build, very manly. He carries himself well. Makes no difference how tall he is.

It should not matter to us what Sauli's height is. Adam is just happy with him the way he is so that should be the end of it. Once again something unimportant to comment about. More relevant is Adam's composure while being quest-ioned by those ridiculous paps so they could find something outrageous to print about him and Sauli. And in ref. to Queen; the finale during season 8 with Kris, Adam and Queen was one of the best closing numbers of any season on IDOL. Of course, Adam outsang Kris as he did throughout all the shows, but overall it was a great finale number. Also, I would rather see Adam on IDOL performing his newest single since his album will be released around the same time as his appearance if it is May 17th(nothing definite yet). AS has been stated, Adam is a class act and a sweetheart being so polite in an irritating situation.

I did love the queen performance too, in fact the whole finale seemed so much better than other seasons. I didn't even watch last year, couldn't face all those country acts, found so many of them bland last year.
