OT - just watched Fox's 25th anniversary show and of course, quite a lot of time spent on Idol. They showed 3 performers - Fantasia's soul reaching Summertime, David Archuletas gorgeous rendition of Imagene and Adam singing with Kiss. Fabulous surprise to see/hear his hotness!Of the thousands of performances they could have chosen, to choose Adams was such a compliment to his superior talent. There were several other times as well when they showed clips of him. Entire anniversary show was very enjoyable. . . . Adamluv

So I guess it's not bad for an album that drops a nearly a month from now. But yes, it could be better.

Adam has gained most of his musical exposures through trending on twitter in the recent years. So I guess it will be good if we trend both #NCOE and #TRESPASSING on twitter...

I remember for FYE, Adam caused such a frenzy that even THE WALL STREET JOURNAL wrote about him and considered his phenomenon as huge as discovering Penicillin. Within a mere few hours without no promotion from RCA on his pre-orders being activated in amazon.com his sales soared on to no.1 just by trending in the twitter. He surpassed Gaga, Madonna, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson and Beatles and later SuBo.

Of course back then there was so much buzz about him, which now is faded almost completely. But we can do the trending anyhow and I think it's a very good idea.

I think if he don't act clever enough this will turn into a very big disappointment or even a disaster.

He has to get his shit straight this time and act like a pro. He definitely has to do something much more bigger than NCOE on AI. a remix, mash-up or even collabo. I want to see him in a stadium this time not another small venue.

This performance above was just great as always, but I'm getting tired of this bland, acoustic performances. I'm already too tired of waiting for the album, these just make me booooreed!

If the second single flops like the first one, it's done. He's gone for good...

So, anything below #1 is a failure? Every top Idol alum goes through the frenzy of the "Idol bubble" at first, when everyone is crazy for them. I think Adam has done GREAT since that initial burst of fame. National and international solo tours, successful first album (which many Idol alums don't even get), still attracting top writers and producers, etc. I'll agree that the singles haven't topped the charts as we would have liked, but I have faith in the album itself. There is too much great music on it for the radio peeps to ignore it. Adam still have devoted fans all over the world who are wild with anticipation for the album release. I can't imagine why anyone would say that if he isn't instantly on top, that he's "gone for good." Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Adam Lambert, of whom I am a huge fan, is not Usher or Bieber (thank god) or Riri etc., we love him but he is going to have to continue to work very hard for top 10 hits... and he's up for the challenge! I applaud his work ethic so much. I might be young, but I get work ethic, and Adam has it! Keep requesting reasonably to your local stations fans.

May 15 is not a good date to begin anything which lasts until June 4 or somewhere there because of a planet in retrograde. It's slow and not profitable.
What i hope for is that the concerts with Queen, which will already be after the retrograde period, will blow up and Trespassing sales will explode as a result. That just the start is slow but will get to dizzying momentum because of Queen as Adam will astound the world.

@8:58AM I love AG and I know him and his family. His father is a Grammy Winner for children music. My favorite song of his father is 'We Are One Family' and I played it for my kids on repeat everyday. His mother passed away couple of years ago. He is a very talented musician. He is doing a National tour performing at different universities. He too deserves to be well known in music scene.

@6:29AM FYE didn't flop. According to RCA press release recently FYE album was sold 2 million copies around the world. BTIKM is no. 25 on World Music chart for this week. Moved from no. 31 to 25. These are great nos. now in this weak world economic climate.
