OK, so there is the possibility that if Adam is performing Shady back east close to NY, Nile Rodgers might just show up? Well damn, I'm on the wrong coast.

JAK here.....Def click where it says CLICK HERE....oh so good! Photos and lots and lots of great songs...David Bowie, Sister Sledge,
Diana Ross, Duran,Duran, etc.
I'm ashamed to admit that I had no idea Nile Rodgers was a "super star". No wonder Adam was stunned to get to work with him...and like Roger and Brian of Queen he is a great fan of Adam Lambert!

Too bad they had to put up an old picture of Adam standing between Randy and the snake Russell Brand @Pressparty link.

C'mon Nile...don't beg...just ask. Adam thinks you're da bomb!

@5:42PM Why did you call Russell Brand snake? If it's about marrige-divorce with Katy Perry I would desagree with you. Russell is absolutely crazy and weird guy. Just look at his face! Is it possible that this guy can have long term relationship with anybody?

Very happy for Adam! Such a great news about AI! These photos and comments about Adam are awesome!
So "People" magazine in the store today. This isn't just May issue. This is special edition about AI. Adam was included in "Idol Rich" list of contestants! This is first part of the magazine about the most sucssefull idols.

If Nile could link up somewhere in the next month to do Shady together, how epic would that be!!
Nile is sure giving Adam LOTS of attention and respect. Nile has an incredible pedigree!

Gotta go buy my People mag tomoorow.

Everyone can calm down now. Adam won the PopCrush poll with 56.44% of the votes which means more radio spins for him.

Anon 5:42 made a statement about Russell Brand being a snake.

Anon 6:00 questioned the statement made by 5:42 by pointing out his bad qualities. I think 6:00 answered their own question.

Last year's Idol winner country singer Scotty M. is going to be knee deep in $$ real soon. Country sells better than anything. Don't ask me why. All good country songs have a train wreck, a bar fight, a mean divorce or a line like - "I love you so much I'd take you back in a minute, but I can't 'cause you sold my truck."

Shiggles thanks for the news about the Popcrush poll. I was looking around for someone to post it but was afraid to ask. YAY! more radio spins for NCOE's

If this isn't posted already, you must read this Rolling Stone article. They interviewed Queen Brian and Roger and apparently they watched Adam's performances for the past couple of years very closely which helped them decide to have Adam as their front man. Read it here:

Yes yes yes yes yes....I was thinking just today. Shady, live, with Adam, his band, those power back up singers and Nile. I'd go anywhere to see, hear that. Niles is so awesome! Weve got some insane music to look forward to.
Love Niles! Love shady and love our genius Adam lambert.

On the Rolling Stone article, this is what Brian and Roger said about their 5 concerts with Adam:

"....Taylor and May will also play five Queen shows in Europe later this year with singer Adam Lambert on lead vocals. According to Taylor, Queen will perform in Moscow, Ukraine and London. He described the Ukraine show as a "very big outdoor" co-headlining gig with Elton John; the London gigs will take place at the Hammersmith Apollo. "We were hoping to do a festival in London, but for various reasons that didn't happen," Taylor said. Lambert, who performed with Taylor and May on the 2009 American Idol finale, has long been on the duo's radar. "Brian and I have seen quite a lot of his shows," Taylor added.

Any plans to perform with Lambert beyond that are unclear for Queen, who have toured on a handful of occasions over the past decade with Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers. "I don't know whether that's going to be ongoing," Taylor said. "Brian and I are not the young men we once were. These are slightly experimental – we've got to see how they go, see how we get on, if it really works. Who knows what might happen. It really is slightly experimental right now. We didn't really want to commit ourselves to too many things......"

American idol, Adam, Niles, shady.......hot hot hot hot hot!
And of course the entire band.

["Brian and I have seen quite a lot of his shows," Taylor added.]

Sounds like Brian and Roger were berting like us when Adam had his Glam Nation Tour and bunch of other performances. I don't doubt that they were checking things out at this site cause I remember at one time before MTVEMA there were comments about Queen and Freddie on this site.

Everything is lining up nice and well deserved for our Rock God, Adam. Only if those stupid radios start playing his music he will be beyond superstar.

I hear Kelly's songs constantly on my HAC radio and IMO BTIKM sounds way better than Stronger.

Guys, this is very important. Go to this radio facebook page and write-in "Never Close Our Eyes by Adam Lambert" for radio spin. That's all you have to do. Please do it here:

@ Shiggles 6:56 PM.......JAK here

Please a little respect...you're talking about my people! And no self respecting country boy would take back a woman who sold his truck...anything else, but not his truck! It emasculates* them! :)

* Not sure about that spelling. I don't believe I've ever used that word before.

Anonymous said...

LOl shiggles right on down the line. And JAK - agree and your spelling is right on!

I think we probably all owe SUZ526 and the TALC group a big thank-you for videoing all of Adam's performances and putting them on YouTube. How else would Brian and Roger have been able to keep an eye on his performances.

Very nice to know that their determination to bring the GN concerts to fans who couldn't be there (some of whom couldn't afford to attend ANY)has paid off in more ways than one.

So Adam is performing on American Idol on May 17th. Top 3 - wow!

The RS interview linked here was very good. One of the comments that was listed reminded the RS writer that Adam sang with Queen at the EMAs. Odd that RS omitted that very important fact. Brian and Roger obviously did therr homework on Adam before asking him to join them at the EMAs. I'm sure they watched a number of his performances. Brian and Roger really want that Extravaganza band to work, but the comments also reflect some resistant from Queen fans about this, just as there has been resistance about Adam. Ahhh, the purists who simply cannot let go of the past. I don't think Freddie is rolling in his grave. I think he's saying, "Enough already! Play the bloody music!"

DRG
(hoping that Nile and Adam DO perform Shady together! BTW, Adam did call Nile to say he'd be late, but I do agree that Adam seems to like to be "fashionably" in some situations. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut about this. Don't really want to dwell on it. My bad.)

@JAK didn't mean any disrespect for your folks. It was Reba McIntire I was feeling sorry for; you know, her truck's gone. lol

Don't worry about Reba, those Oklahoma gals are tough and she probably prefers a horse anyway.
She used to rodeo, ya know!
