How fabulous is this! Another concert in England. Am thrilled that the British will get another opportunity to see how awesome Adam is! The photo shows Adam in his Elvis pompadour. It seems that everytime I go online recently there is good news re: Adam and no one deserves it more!!!!!!!!! . . . Adamluv

re read what I wrote and it sounded like it was "me" who deserved all the good news. I, of course, meant Adam.

Great news. Hope he will really break through into the U.K. this era. OT 102.9 kdmx Dallas just played If I Had You ,they hardly played it when it was popular. Radio who knows. Anyway they do play NCOE and to the bottom right of their home page you can click green arrow up and request NCOE for their top 5 at 5 daily countdown!

They don't book just anybody at the Royal Albert Hall. This is a great gig for Adam! Glad to hear his music being played more.

Royal Albert all!!! Wow! This being her Jubilee Year, perhaps THE QUEEN will attend...

The QUEEN will be there a few days earlier! Official Jubilee celebrations in London are June 3rd I believe.

JAK here....Oh Adam, to quote Paula Abdul...."take it all in".
The Royal Albert Hall, it's scrumptious. Last time I was there was in 1988 and I nearly twisted my head off, making sure I saw every nook and cranny! What a special treat for you!

This is a strange sad day to hear this good news for Adam....When I was there in 88 I saw the BeeGees and today I heard that Robin Gibb died. They were favorites of mine and I remember the entire Hall rocking to "Jive Talking"!

I just gotta say that Adam Lambert is the most beautiful human on the planet..I love the fact that he is gay..if he wasn't he wouldn't be so utterly fantabulous..I just love the guy and everything about him..I'm so damned obsessed!! Can I get an "Amen"?????

Anonymous said...

I find your comment a bit strange.
No, I don't celebrate Adam being gay, nor anyone else. It makes your life more difficult in too many ways. Discrimination hurts.
I will celebrate Adam being fabulous, but I don't think being gay has anything to do with that.

AMEN to the FABULOSITY!

(not this particular hairless look)

@4:17 - I get what you mean..but, my thoughts are that Adam has such a fantastic style..sometimes OTT..but always interesting and amazing..I do realize that, unfortunately, we live in a homophobic country (and we aren't the only one)..and that is something that I long to have changed..won't see it in my lifetime..but I hope that this ridiculous mess can come to an end in the future..my heart goes out to anyone who is suffering because of their sexuality and how it is percieved among their family and friends..

For those worried about the Amazon charts, I wouldn't be too worried about it because it accounts for a very small share of album sales and is mostly for pre-orders or those that can't access physical copies of the albums unlike itunes which by average accounts for about 40% of total album sales so that is a more significant chart :)

Btw Adam is #1 as per HDD with 56% of data collected..YAY!! It seems they haven't added itune sales yet and of course in their predictions they don't add Amazon and AO sales which will be added in the BB total tally...so still hoping for good sales!!

This is a great venue for Adam and his band to showcase Trespassing in a separate way from his Queen shows.

@The Dark Side....very good point! Although it's fabulous that Adam is gonna get fantastic exposure playing all those summer gigs with Queen, it's a wonderful gig for Adam to be billed at The Royal Albert Hall...singing his own new music....only the best of the best play that historic hall in London...and for a charity too. This is so wonderful for Adam...I couldn't be any prouder right now!

The Royal Albert Hall's interior is DIVINE!! You can check it out on the Royal Albert Hall website where there are virtual tours of the building. I've stood outside it but never been lucky to go inside. It's totally AWESOME that Adam is going to perform there. <3

To MotoMoto..@May 21, 2012 4:47 PM 1. Itunes is not 40% of the album sales. They are nearly 40%(38%?) of music sales including all the singles and albums..and the majority of the portion is their single sales, the album sales is relatively small portion of that.....2. AMAZON & AO just don't report their numbers to HDD...but theirs' are estimated/included in HDD's first prediction(70~80K). I think 75k is reasonable and great.

I saw this show advertised yesterday and got really excited thinking it was when I was in the UK, I was just about to book tickets, cos I knew my kids would love to see Diversity, Spellbound and JLS, and me Adam, then I double checked and realised it was 7th June, not July...bummer.

JAK I went to the Royal Albert hall many, many years ago to see Sting and Jools Holland, beautiful theatre.

Being gay IS a celebration.

There is something just truly fabulous about Adam playing the Royal Albert Hall. (And for a good cause..).. Its one of those milestones in an artist's career..to be able to say they have performed there. So excited for him. I've not been to a performance, but have walked by and admired it while visiting London a few years ago, and thought to myself that someday I would love to go inside and experience being there. The setting is fabulous, across from Hyde Park, in the Kensington area of London...Yay Adam!! He's going to love his extended visit to London..Such a beautiful and exciting city...

Sauli is getting ready to leave for Finland soon..The guys in Europe...Just like last summer.

@ HKfan.....JAK here

I'm always searching out Jools Holland Later show....he has a great band and the BEST guests! First time I ever saw Duffy (I really like her) and first time I saw James Blunt (my UK crush). I watch a lot of UK television shows,
Graham Norton always cheers me up!
He's so naughty!
