To wake up to Adam interviewed on my birthday was a treat!

I was reading SING YOU HOME by Jodi Picoult. #1 on NY Times best seller list. On page 150 I came across the following sentence: "Pairing Wilco and Etta James on the same CD is like sitting Jesse Helms and Adam Lambert next to each other at a dinner party..." Wow! A mention in a mainstream , best selling novel!! Assumption being that the reader would know who Adam is!!! Look out world! Adam is here!!

Great picture of Adam. Can't wait to get my copy of the magazine inthe mail tomorrow. Adam did one crazy thing recently with that fight and arrest with Sauli in Finland. I think he learned his lesson from that experience because it was all over the news blown way out of proportion. I don't see him as a "homebody" because he just seems to love to go out with friends and to have a good time. As long as he stays out of trouble which would gain him negative headlines, Adam will be too busy in the coming months and will need his down time to relax and catch up on his sleep. And you are right about Adam performing in the big leagues with Queen and Elton John. They both know talent when they hear it. That should be a spectacular concert from Russia.

Out of subject. Youtube starts to cut NCOE's number of views! It was 2,161,000 views on main page just 3hours ago. But wright now there are 2,110,000 views!

Just watched the video of Adam at Prince AlberT Hall. He looked terrific with the jacket, shirt and tie. The performance to me was not one of his best because his band and backup singers were not with him. I guess there wasn't that much time to rehearse, so I don't think it was up to Adam's previous performances of Trespassing. I don't know what else he sang there, but I hope it gets the audience interested in Adam and his new album. I guess the Brits will get to know more of him with the upcoming Queen concerts.

6:27 right now the video page is 2,170,880 and the utube search shows 2,183,603. This happens every now and then, don't ask me why.It can drive a person cray cray.

OT: I had an interesting discussion today with a friend of mine about reality talent/singing shows and IDOL specifically. We mentioned previous winners and the fact thatseveral of them were not doing so well in their careers. She mentioned Ruben Studdard as one of them. I brought up Kris Allen, David Cook and Lee Dewyze. Then she mentioned Adam Lambert and she heard nothing from him since WWFM. Well, I suppose if you are not following his career in magazines articles, on the internet or this website and others, you wouldn't know Adam had out a new album and a single from it since we don't hear it on the radio in this area(NJ). It was sad to hear this and told her how great I though Trespassing was and that Adam is out promoting it. I will buy her a cd so she can listen for herself, but I wonder if others believe he has kind of disappeared from the music scene and not done well in his career. Wow, they don't know what they are missing since I consider Adam to be the best vocal talent in the music business today as do so many others. So glad that PEOPLE did this story on him so that all the readers know exactly what he is doing at this time in his career. I will be a fan forever and I know that Adam will have longevity in music because he is just that good.

7:30 Adam has been working on his album for over a year,and hardly any appearances. Glad she brought him up and mentioned WWFM on her own, all's not lost. lol He is getting his second wind now. Look out world here he comes.

OT - @Anon 7;30 - what I dont understand is about his upcoming show in Costa Mesa, Cal. If you dont visit an Adam site or follow him/his fans on twitter you would never know of his appearance since the tickets have to be purchased thru the venue. There has been zero promo about it other than the listing on their site. The general public has no idea about this performance nor the Fantasy Springs one. I met a woman last week end who says she loves him but had no idea about either of the shows. His shows need to be promoted and advertised. Isnt his management co. responsible for this end of the business? Find this very frustrating. . . . Adamluv

Adam has been getting attention from People in all past 3 weeks.
First was when they reviewed Kris Allen's album. They said Kris' album was good but no way could it hold up against Adam Lambert's Trespassing... Poor Kris, really that was a slam.
Last week Trespassing was reviewed and got 4 stars and now this. No complaining from my side. People reaches tons of readers.

The Aids benefit concert with Elton
is such an honor, it just takes my breath away. Thank God for a free Russia, millions of people live there. Nazdrovja to the Russian and the Poles!

If one is not a fan of ADAM, there's no way they will know what's going on with his career because he is not heard on radio. A friend from a community where I just joined, when I mentioned I have to hurry home to watch ADAM on Leno early this year, said she liked him so much on AI that she kept voting for him. But she's the type who didn't follow ADAM because she was busy. I plan to gift her the Trespassing when I pay a visit to that community again.
I thank People Mag for featuring ADAM. So, it is really a good idea to gift friends and others with Trespassing so they know how great he is and his new album. We fans are lucky because of all the fun we have following ADAM. Let's keep sharing him with others.

@Adamluv, yea it seemed like everyone was sitting down. BUT it may have had everything to do with it being a childrens benefit. Wow, hard to believe there is even a stadium that holds 350,000! I easily got tix to Endfest in Sacramento July 20th front row although they were pre-sale. It's with Demi Lovato, Owl City and Karmin, so should be great exposure. I am also going to San Francisco's Summerthing but it's free, so will have to go early to get up close. There will be several performers there as well. I am really hoping the Queen performances really creates a groundswell of new fans.

On another note, I am watching Adele being interviewed on Rock Center and they are showing her singing at Prince Albert Hall!! She tells of her excitement of being on that stage. Imagine how proud we are of Adam and how excited he must have been to have been performing there today!!!
