I wish Adam was coming to Melbourne, Sydney always seems to get in first, I'd love to get tickets but can't afford to travel up to Sydney just now, hopefully Adam will come back next year on tour for Trespassing, I'd love to see him perform live again.

The Standard Sydney is not a big venue, about 1,000 capacity. Why didn't they choose a bigger venue like The Opera House or All Phones arena.

I JUST WONDER HOW HE WILL FEEL AFTER PLAYING WITH QUEEN TO THOSE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO NOW PLAYING TO SMALLER VENUES.I KNOW BEFORE HE LIKED THE SMALLER MORE INTIMATE HOUSES SO HE COULD SEE AND HAVE MORE ACCESS TO THE CROWD THERE. OF COURSE, NOW HE WILL BE SINGING HIS NEW SONGS. JUST A DIFFERENT MIND SET I GUESS. WHAT DO ALL YOU GLAMBERTS THINK????

Lily, the Sydney show is not a real concert gig. It's a promo show. There's a difference. Those 1,000 people are very lucky to be able to see him in such a small place.

4:51, In my opinion, Adam loves to play to huge crowds. He really gets the electricity going, regardless of how many people are there. It looks like Adam fill medium-sized venues when he is the main attraction at a show. Don't know if he can fill a huge arena at this point. BUT, just wait! In the meantime, I think Adam loves to sing to fans in any size venue.

The event is advertised as an intimate gig where Adam can answer questions as well as sing so there's no need to have it at the Opera House or similar. When he does a concert tour Down Under, the venues will probably be a lot bigger.

There were 300 tickets available for the Sydney gig and understandably, they sold out very quickly.

I'm really happy for you Sydney fans. Enjoy! I'm from near Des Moines Iowa, so I get to go see him on July 28th. Lucky us!

Kelly Clarkson's performing in Melbourne at the Rod Lava Arena, around the same time as Adam will be in Sydney, I wish it was the other way around, don't get me wrong I fully respect Kelly and I'm sure she will put on a great show, but no one can come close to Adam when it comes to live performances. I'd also like to thank all the fans who were very kind to send in videos from the Queen and Adam concerts, it's so nice of them to do this as not everyone can get along to these things but it's the next best thing to being there. Adam was amazing, such a class act and Brian and Roger were wonderful too.

Oh yes Adam's music is way better. Now who is going to Thursday night's concert at OC Fair? I believe there are still some tickets to buy. I already have my tickets. I'll be there with couple of my friends. Get your tickets if you want to hear Adam's impeccable voice. These videos don't do him justice not even the high quality live stream videos. I'm going to see Adam in 2 days at the Pacific Amphitheater in OC! It seems so surreal after being glued to the computer for the epic 6 concerts with Queen (I still play the vids daily) and now here he is a few days later in southern California! Amazing! Trespassing here I come ready to "clap, clap, clap clap clap" LOL!

This is a special promo limited to 300 fans. The club venue actually holds 500 in total and it's a very cool place for a take 40 event.
Remembering that Adam performed GN in Australia at incredible sold out venues, (one larger and other clubs, which Nile Rogers did when he was in Australia too) plus did TV, Mardi Gras and lots of promo work then too so he is well adored and loved in the Land Down Under. Plus the media love him and he gets lots of airplay there too.
This is obviously a flying visit with an upcoming tour next year.
Expecting New Zealand to be announced soon at this rate, so bet their on tenderhooks right now.

Thank god someone's going to the OC. I heared they still had tickets left?! Go figure that one!

I sat high up in the circle on the 1st show, a good vantage point to see the whole stage/light show, but on the 2nd night I was standing, a whole different ball game, the atmosphere was unreal. I managed to get right in the middle about 20 feet from the end of the catwalk.
I have posted a couple of recaps on different threads, unfortunately never thought to actually put them on the concert thread!!!!
but briefly, the 1st night was amazing, the 2nd even better. WWTLF and TSMGO were just jawdropping. i think WWTLF was the moment he caught all the queen fans, the cheers and applause at the end were fantastic. somebody to love was another highlight from the 1st show. adam got the biggest cheers and ovations each evening, even more than Roger and Brian which was amazing given it was mainly a queen aidoence, although a good showing of glamberts too.
I spoke to people from the US, Canada, Dubai, Israel, Holland, and not all adam fans, heard many other accents too.
glad you like the photos, I thought some were pretty good considering it was just my little camera, and i couldn't really see what I was taking, just had to hold it up and hope for the best.
if the show does go to the states, I would recommend that you all go!!!
