Adam sounds so down-to-earth and sensible regarding relationships. I think Adam has had his wild flings and very ready for a long-term relationship with Sauli...good luck and don't get drunk too often. lol! I doubt he'll read the mentioned book cover to cover; he probably can write one of his own on such a topic basing it on his past relishing experiences. lol! :)

I've just finished reading the 3 shades of Grey books. They are somewhat overhyped, pretty crappy writing, but also kind of compelling!!!I actually preferred them as the books went on and their personalities came out more, but all that talk of her 'sex' and her inner goddess gets kind of tiring. I mean the stuff she gets up to in the book you'd think she'd be able to say the word vagina!!!

As to the interviews, Adam looks beautiful, although a bit tored, and sounds great. He always gives such good advice.

$5000 to see Adam, I would if I had to; this particular club he played at must have paid him handsomely for the show judging by the type of money one is forking out to see him; or sometimes it may be a case of helping out a friend who needs cash; like a dual purpose. Whatever the reason Adam is worth it. :)

@Lam-my .... I don't know about bidding $5,000 for a ticket. The highest bid I saw was $2,325. Then there was another one for just over $2,000. A couple of other tickets brought $770 and $550 if my memory serves me correctly. A girl I was talking to at the gig said she paid $500, I think. I'd need to see the $5,000 bid!!

Anyway, interesting interview (NOTHING about Adam being gay) and I'm looking forward to watching the whole program on Saturday.

If I had a bottomless money pit, I'd pay $,000 to see and hear Adam.

We could use some more good posts on you tube for both of these videos.Adam sounded pretty down, but I BELIEVE good things are gonna happen for him,no matter what happens.Idol is treating many candidates wrongly about the Idol gigs.Adam deserves to be on there, even if it's a guest judge..in fact, that may be better in the long run.He could have some more time for other things & not be left hanging..it's really stressing him out;so sweet during that last twitter party..he said Sauli was sleeping like an angel,& he would not wake him up.Jet lag can be really bad--I know,I've been there, too.

My BFF read all 3 of the Shades of Grey books, since we supply each other with books on a steady basis I said "Are you going to loan me the Christian Grey books?" She said "No way, you read literature, these are crap". I asked her why she read them and she said "I kept thinking they'd get better, they didn't!" She suggested I re read Madame Bovary or Lady Chatterley's Lover. LOL

Even the biddings you mentioned are high; no wonder he is returning for another concert; quite passionate Aussie fans I'd say. Sounds quite true about Adam being an adopted Aussie. When Adam was here last year (Singapore) the whole of the front row seats were priced at $1000, maybe about 100 or more seats (not sure).

The Take 40 interview and concert are screening on September 1 at 11:00am on Channel 11, Australian Eastern Standard Time. Sorry, I don't have the link.

Adam probably talks a lot about his ex's. It's not a good thing if you want your relationship to work I think. I simply lose interest and leave someone I met if he talks too much about his ex. Why should I bother listening?

He would make a good phycologist .Adam has always said he would probely go into phycology if he had to choose a another career. Imagine staring into those eyes. Or a fashion designer, home interior designer. So talented and blessed.

I think it's possible that Adam and Brad couldn't live together.

Dear 6:06
What makes you think that Adam talks A LOT about his ex's? It's just not normal to AVOID talking about them, just like talking a lot about them. Adam, like a normal & sensitive partner, said he has talked about his ex's when the conversation came up or when it made sense to mention past experiences as a way to learn and work out his current relationship. Adam seems to me like a very sensitive person, and his best quality is that he is non-judgemental!

I'll bet Sauli has exes, too. In fact, I remember him saying in an interview that he did have at least one major previous relationship. It's healthy to get all that stuff out in the open with a new partner. I think Adam and Sauli have done that and are past it. I certainly don't think Adam talks bout his exes "all the time." He and Sauli seem solid to me.

It liked this interview. Maybe those tickets didn't go as high as $5,000, but the prices were impressive, just the same. The next show in Australia sounds like it will be more of a full-blown concert show. Hope so!

The 50 Shades of Grey thing is pretty funny. Chokehold would be a great theme for it. Wonder what the first movie will be like? I'm sure there will be movies based on these books. I have not read them. Adam really is a psychologist at heart. So introspective and thoughtful about the human condition.

Forgot to say, Adam had interesting commments about "being famous" and hanging out with the "cool group." Love how he compared it to sitting at the cool kids' table in the cafeteria. Despite what he says, it seems like every celebrity type who meets him likes him. I'd love to see him reach that inner circle, just to experience it. He deserves it.

I've read the first part of the trilogy only and I would suggest By the Rules as the theme song. After all, it was all about playing by the rules set by CG.

Not a very good book, though, but I would love to see CG on screen - if as beautiful as he is described in the book.

Adam would do nicely.... :)

great interview and really great advice from Adam

Don't know how they will make a movie from fifty Shades, unless it is rated X. did not like the books and I am not a prude.Anyway I know Adam doesn't want us to feel bad for him,but when he was talking about not being in the cool group of the industry my heart does go out to him. IMO Adam is the coolest guy ever!!!!

Anonymous said...

@8:12 I heard Ryan Gosslin had signed on to that movie.

If I had the names of the celebs wo snubbed Adam, I would forever snub them. I love other artists that embrace him. Adam deserves to be recognized as the next big icon. Read all 50 shades of grey. Pretty entertaining.

For any of you who actually liked the 50 Shades of Grey books, rent The Secretary starring James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhall (sp?).
It's a weird film about sexual control. I didn't like it, but I didn't turn it off either.

Anonymous said...

I don't want Adam to be snubbed but then again he may be better off not being in the celebrity circle. Not a lot of them seem to handle themselves all that well. Adam frequently says he stays grounded by keeping his pre 2009 friends, they loved him before he became "known".

Anonymous said...

I'm not sure it's always a "snub." I think that sometimes at those big celeb events, there is a lot of mingling and roaming around from persont to person. The microphones get thrust from one to the other. I'm not sure there is always a lot of time to just talk to someone new, even if you want to. Anyone famous who has met Adam has said they have liked him. I'm not so sure all the other big stars are as buddy-buddy with each other as it might look.

is 50 shades about sexy heteros doing the deed wherever, whatever, with whomever? discuss

VAGINA in fifty shades of Grey? Nah!

When celebs are being interviewed at the Grammys or the Oscars, they often say that they don't get to see any other celeb all year, that those shows give them an opportunity to do so. Most celebs I've seen interviewed on the red carpets say that their lives are pretty ordinary most of the time.

Adam is so cool but you can tell it bothered him about not being in the cool group.
I firmly believe in the future he will be the "cool" one and many of these people will be wishing they knew him!!!
