I see that other singers like Pink, Katy P, Rihanna and Lady Gaga always post these types of tweets on their twitter page. I know that Adam is very humble, but he too should start that trend. Great to be humble and all but also important for his fans and the media who read his tweets to see that worldwide, Adam is a real success.

BTW, Adam's twitter page in China's equivalent is growing by the minute. At 16:17 ET today, it stands at 88,710. Everytime I refresh the page, it grows by 5 to 10 new followers.

So, it's midsummer in Tokyo, great weather. Well, if that were true, I would have loved to go to the nearby Nogi Jinja instead. But it would be unthinkable that Adam's aesthetic sensibilities would allow us to take a photo of him dripping in sweat. So instead, we're at the building of the label for the photo shoot. As this is the week of the Obon (public Japanese holiday), we arrive 30 mins before to an empty building. The smiling person-in-charge at the venue says. "Today's data-gathering day for INROCK," to which Adam laughs, "Did you also bring strawberries and roses today?" Hearing that my head explodes: Mean!

The [strawberry and roses] reference was a nod to Adam's first visit to Japan, where, for my first interview with him, I spent half a day preparing to shoot using strawberries and roses as props. The strawberries and roses were to be "sweet" and "fresh, deep red" things respectively in the photos. I went to several stores just for that. However, when Adam saw the strawberries and roses, he said, "It's not really my image." Although I had sought permission beforehand, the concept had to be abandoned. But it was obvious, for if it's something related to Adam, Adam's decision is everything. That having said, when i talked to the editorial team about Adam's words, even two years later, they've remember what transpired which is touching, in its own way.

And so, Adam appeared, with his greyish-blond hair and solid physique. Under those clothes, he looked invitingly muscular; I got the sense that he had been working out. He wore shorts decorated with metal studs and long boots -- unique taste as always. Combined with his chiseled features, he looked like a Grecian sculpture. However, when our eyes met, the sculpture-like face softened as if blood had passed through it, and a smile spread across his face. He shook my hands and gave me a hug, and I was glad that he looked pleased to meet me again.

Adam is big. A label chief who spotted Adam in the dressing room at Summer Sonic (a few days later), would later say to me, "I really love Adam, but I didn't expect him to be so huge in person." By the way, it seems that the woman not only liked Adam for his music, but was also captivated by his presence as an artist. For this interview, it was fortunate that the cameraman, Oshima-san in some strange way the perfect match for Adam. Oshima-san, who's also a model, is tall, probably around 175cm. As a result, they could meet each other's gaze. Furthermore, as Adam posed for her camera, pounding out ideas, she challenged him to do even more through an earnest stream of "Good! Cool!" In the end, it felt like a one-to-one combat between the cameraman and her subject. Whenever there was a change in shooting location, Adam would check through each of the photos, sounding satisfied as he said, "Good!" As such, some days later, he requested for all the photos to be sent to him as he wanted to see them all.

Part 2:

A little while into the photo shoot, it was time for a clothes change. Adam brought with him a dressy, long top and started changing in front of us. He removed the shorts, tights and boots that he had been wearing. Clad only in the long top and dark grey (cotton-looking) underwear, with a pondering look at this face, he asked, "should we take a photo the way I am right now?" "Nah, it's a little too sexy don't you think?", he smiled bitterly, and put on the pair of shorts again. Just as I was about to tweet (a photo) of that look, the label chief interrupted my tweet: "That photo is looking like an Imekura photo (an Imekura is cosplay-esque brothel), please stop!" Nonetheless, it was a pity. Posing while clad only that top, it was as if Adam was wearing a mini one-piece with bare legs, looking somewhat coquettish. And so, when the photo shoot finally came to an end, Adam and the cameraman looked satisfied as they smiled to each other and high-fived -- like athletes at the end of a match.

We switched to an interview room. A post-photo shoot Adam was in high spirits. But there was one more reason for his good mood: "Sauli is arriving tonight." The reason for Adam's sunburnt skin was that 1 to 2 weekends ago, he had gone for a short vacation with Sauli to Mexico and got a bit too carried away with the suntan by accident. When I said to him, "beauty spots are appearing", Adam smiled as he corrected me, "that's actually a sunshine kiss."

"I take care not to get my face sunburnt, but I'm not so particular about the rest of my body."

Adam is becoming a global superstar and it is so good to see and read all these featured articles about him from various parts of the world. They absolutely love him in Japan and Australia. So wake up people here in the USA. When are we going to get radio play for "Trespassing"? With so much garbage in music now from untalented, auto-tuned, lip synching performers, this has to be the time to let someone in who is a vocal powerhouse with amazing stage presence. We're going to lose Adam performing here at home to all the countries who clamor to see him and accept him as he is. Trespassing has been called one of the best new albums of this year and if he can't get one major hit from it, there is definitely something seriously wrong with the music industry and the listening audience.

OT Just happened to check Amazon music movers and shakers. Trespassing CD deluxe was #5 going from #720 to #215. So once he gets on more shows to sing the new single including PLL this will be great. You have to click again on his name on the small window of his tweets that pops up. There is something new in twitter now. In the conversation window next to the word "Tweets" click on "All" to view all of his tweets. Hope I explained it well enough.

A short story about Adam's music being played. My daughter and I are on a short vacation since we do t like the same kind of food so we were having a hard time picking a restaurant . It's so heart-warming to hear about Adam's songs being played at different places! Thank you all for sharing the joy! Let's hope that one day Adam will be played on the radio just as regularly as other artists!

It was painful to see Philip Philips on the video channel this morning. He just came off Idol! What gives? I can't wait to see Adam's new video for Trespassing! I never saw NCOE on TV and it's such a great video!
On a happier note - I revisited all the contestants in Adam's contest and it was so inspiring! He has such awesome fans and Adam, himself, is so beautiful inside and out! Every day I love him more and I could listen to Trespassing all day!

So excited that Adam is coming back to Australia so soon after the Take 40 concert in Sydney. I have my ticket to Melbourne to see him at the Caulfield Races. These races are a 'big thing' in OZ. They only feature the best entertainers for the concerts (after the races have finished) and Adam fits that picture perfectly.

I was at" get this," Sears this morning and they were playing Better than I know Myself. I was quite surprised to hear it there. Matter of fact our Deb shop which is a clothing store plays Music Again and other Adam songs. Me being a dork had to say thats Adam out loud. the clerk said yeah they play his music alot that it just fits there store vibe so well. Pennsylvania Girl

I have also heard Adam's songs in stores, etc. He gets heard. Just wish it was good, frequent radio airplay.

Philip P. is doing well because he is completely mainstream, non-threatening and blends right in. I am not saying he isn't talented. He has a nice voice. But no edge whatsoever to me. He is nice looking enough, but completely unsexy to me. I'm sure the fans who followed him for the whole season on AI love him and think he's the best thing ever. Wonder if he'll get any notice from overseas? Doesn't seem like it. I can't see them clamoring to see him. But when you blend in like he does and appeal to a broad AMERICAN audience, it sure helps. Hmmm. Why does Adam appeal to me so much more? Let me count the ways!!!

It was cool that they played it in Sears. Our radio station 100.7 did play Adam's music alot but they seem to have faded. I hope when we can request Trespassing that they will get on board again. Pennsylvania Girl

I watched The Voice last night. The talent was great but I got tired of Adam Levine's gun show and turned it off.

Phillip philliphs (what kind of name is that btw lol) had a huge hit- HOME- I love it, it's played everywhere- on t.v, commericials ect.- it will be interesting to see if he is a so-called one hit wonder?

He might be o.k as an opening act but he could never pull off a sold out amazing show like adam, way to boring.

Idol- I'm beyond disgusted, I will admit I am (was huge fan) have to admit I never missed an episode since day 1. I refuse to watch now because of nicki m and the mere fact that 99% of the viewing population clearly expressed thier views about Nicki m. and wanting adam and they could care less. Let them sink!!! Adam may not have had that big hit on trespassing USA yet. Certainly hope trespassing changes that, I live this song! But, Never Clise our eye's was a no. 1 hit in several countries, Japan being one of them, better than I know myself did good in Japan, and several countries, Never Closr our eyes was a no.1 hit in several big countries, Japan is very important in music business and Adam songs always do well there, video's also, hope he gets nominated for video award there. I bought the Queen Adam DVD from Kiev. It came promptly and the quality is great. Not sure if I broke an unwritten rule by doing that. If they put out an official one I,ll buy more then one.

I bought that DVD also. Even though i have all the performances in my favorites on you-tube. This is a keeper because he's on my big screen t.v. I will buy any dvd with adam in it. If adam minded I think he would of tweeted us.

NCOE, and NCOE behind the scenes, and BTIKM were played pretty regularly on channel V in Asia, I would see NCOE about once a day on average, I would always stop what I was doing to watch....
And NCOE was being played on the internet radio station I sometimes listen to here.

Where can I get that DVD of Adam and Queen? When I saw the concert on the internet, it looked like a professional camera crew doing the shots. Is someone going to release that as a DVD like GNT? If so, I gotta have it! Oh, and thanks for the welcome. I loved the stories about other people hearing Adam while out and about! Good to know I'm not the only Goofy Glambert, lol!

If that is the case, then we are taking no money that should rightly be Queens aND Adams. If they don't have a DVD to sell my conscience will be clear when I order the Kiev DVD today.

So there won't be a bonified dvd of the Queenbert concert from London? I thought they were filming it during the shows? It would have made a great Christmas gift if they were to put one together for the holidays. And I would like any of the money made from sales to go to Adam, Queen and the AIDS charity foundation. There is still time, so maybe something will happen as far as producing this dvd.

In reference to the holidays in the previous comment, how about a coffee table book of the best Adam Lambert pictures showing the change in his style, look and hair. There would be so many to go throuogh to select those for the book because Adam really doesn't take a bad picture, esp. those done by Lee Cherry. I'd gladly be on a panel to go through pictures to make the final selections. I'd definitely purchase this book if it ever came to be. What a wonderful gift for any Adam Lambert fan.

I think if a Queenbert DVD was coming out Adam's publicist would have made it known by now. :(

Sadly a book of Adam's photos would probably not sell enough to pay for the production costs. There are more people who don't know who he is than people who are crazy about him as we are. :(
