I 'clicked' but only a black screen came up!.....JAK

But while I have your attention, have you checked the SNL voting link? I had one of my no sleep at all nights....so while I was polishing off a really good book, I kept an eye on the clock and every hour I voted for Adam....it was fun to actually see the graph growing! When Adam's percentage was double Beibers I crawled in bed for a couple hours! I wanted to make @ tess4ADAM proud of me :)))

Way to go, JAK! Adam is way ahead as of now.

@JAK

You can vote repeatedly for SNL and I'm happy to see that ADAM has taken over JB as late last night when I was voting JB was 5% ahead.
Thanks for all your efforts but you can just refresh the page and can keep on voting over and over.

The once every hour voting is on this:

@ 10:30 A.M.......JAK here

You are speaking to a computer illiterate here...how do you "refresh" a page?

A glass of lemonade? A fan? A cold shower?

I'm clueless!!!!! :))

You right click, look at the list of options, and left click on "Refresh." Then, it usually takes a moment or two for the page to "reset" itself. Hope that helps.

I can't get this video to work either. Just a black screen.

@JAK - your definition of "refresh" is hysterical. Thanks for the humor - really love how your mind works. . . . Adamluv

@JAK

As I use a laptop, just go to the top where the web site appears, and just click on the small circular arrow on the right and that will refresh the page.
Just wait a few seconds and it will bring the original page back so you can vote again.
Good luck, my dear, I'm just the same as you, not technology savvy but was also shown this not so long ago.

@ xyz...I don't know what I would do without the 'helpers' on this site. So many over the scant 3 years I've been a computer user have helped me learn new things.
I am so proud of myself when I make another babystep into the 21st century!......JAK....gracias

@ Adamluv.....JAK here....Way OT

Funny you should say you "love the way my mind works"......it's an affectionate joke (I think it's a joke) in our family that when my mind and mouth come out with something goofy....I hear "Mom, we are def leaving your brain to science when you 'go'..!"

I think it's a great idea, just wish I could be around to see what the researchers find! I just say I come from a long line of witches and warlocks (the nice kind).

My great grandfather was a farmer in a rural area of Missouri...the community had no doctor but injured people would be taken to my grandfather. He could stop bleeding and as they said "draw fire" from bad burns. After he did what he could the injured person's family would flag down the engineer on nearby railroad and take the patient to 'the city' to the hospital.

My mother dreamed about sickness or injury to family members from the time she was a child. She would wake up and say "I have to call Mary Frances (or whoever) she's in trouble!" And darn if she wasn't right. Since I'm from a 'funny family' at gatherings when everyone was giving good-bye hugs, they'd say "Jessie, please don't dream about me!"

My own weird speciality is being able to frequently 'program' my dreams. I've done it since I was a child, I just called it "telling myself stories". I decide what I want to dream about and quite often it works!

Some variation of this strange 'gift'? has run thru my Mother's family for generations...
my youngest daughter has her own 'speciality'....but that's her story to share or not.

See what I mean? Witches and warlocks! ooooooooo spooky! :))
