Thank you, Adam! I live in the northeast-Pittsburgh and it's not looking very pretty out there.
To anyone living on the East Coast, North East,Great Lakes and the Ohio Valley please stay safe!!
I'm one of the East coasters in northeast NJ. So far no flooding here yet, but the winds are very strong. Been glued to the tv(still have power fortunately) following the Sandy and then on to the computer. How nice of Adam to send his thoughts out here to all of us. That's what I like about him...thinking about others when things are not going so well.
I think it's very kind of Adam to be concerned considering the fact that if this is a terribly damaging storm ,some wingnut will probably blame it on rampant homosexuality in America and same sex marriage. God does use weather to punish. So say the following.
Glenn Beck said the earthquake and tsunami in Japan was God's message.
Pat Robinson said Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for abortion, he also said the earthquake in Haiti was because that country had made a pact with the devil. Last year Michelle Bachmann said Hurricane Irene and East Coast earthquake was an "attempt by God to get polititians attention."
And Rev. John Hagee said Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for homosexuality.
Odd isn't it? Now what political party do these people belong to?
@2:47 - pretty disgusting isnt it?
thanks Adam high winds and rain here. I'll be praying for all others in harm's way. Have a nice concert in TX.xxoo
Fortunately there are people in this world that recognize right wing nut jobs and thier rhetoric. But above posters have a point. And one can assume like bad storms this bs will also raise its ugly head. The Dark Side
Most of my family is in the Northeast, sounds like a lot of flooding on the shoreline. On a happy note Trespassing made #1 today on the top 5 at 5 102.9 Dallas countdown.
Adam was sweet to be concerned about us East Coasters. We live very near the NC coast, but were lucky;am glad we don't live"down east"..there was, & may still be some damage there, but here we had some pretty high winds & pounding rain @ times, but didn't lose power or have any damage to our house,Thank God.I'm praying for the others farther north on the coast & in NYC,NJ,etc.
You guys on the East Coast I hope everything fares well for you and your loved ones. XOXOXO
Since those of us on East coast of Florida know those hurricane jitters very well we are hoping Sandy will spare the Northern east coast serious damage or loss of life. What kind of name is Sandy for a hurricane anyway?
My prayers to those of you on the east coast. Hope you weather the storm and are safe.
I took a day trip today with friends up the east coast of Lake Michigan in the state of Michigan. (I live in the Chicago area.) The waves on Lake Michigan were very high and winds were very high. We were told that this is an effect of the hurricane. Chicago's lakefront is also experiencing higher waves. Good luck to all, and thanks, Adam, for the kind thoughts!

My wishes and hopes that the Easteners can stay out of harms way with Hurricane Sandy bearing down.
All we have to worry about here in Southern Caifornia are a few earthquakes LOL! No joke, stay safe everyone.
Is anyone going to watch The live stream of Adam's concert tonight? Lambertlust will be streaming. I think PST for Adam's set is 6:25pm here in L.A. Sorry I don't know how to bring the link here but Lambertlust is on Twitter with the live stream link.

God bless everybody in harm's way, I hope everything will come out alright. Adam is alway's thinking of other people. if there is any punishment from God it should be for all the cruel but job's In this world. Certainly not for a Chairatable kind man like Adam, just because Of his sexuality. This is the work of mother nature, those crazy people better watch what hatred they spew, because there the one's should be punished! karma is a B---h! That was cruel nut job's that should be punished, type correction ! Adam should be commented for all his present and past good work's! I wish every body in jepordy will be alright! I will pray for all of you!! Sue
Take good care all those who may be battling the east coast hurricane which I follow on CNN reports...yea very frightening even in my imagination. I don't think natural disasters, is God's way of punishing people. The Earth is a 'live', fiery planet which renews itself in it's own natural way. Natural forces, winds, temperatures, storms, hurricanes etc. are natural phenomena. God bless and keep you, east coasters out of harm's way.

@2:47 - a chaplain/founder of Defend and Proclaim the Truth ministries just posted on his blog that Hurricane Sandy is Gods reaction to homosexuality. Wow, that was fast! . . . Adamluv
@Adamluv
Geez, ignorant people
I told you so! 2:47 PM
My sister-in-law named Sandy came to Fl. for the first time and left Friday. My grandaughter's name also is Sandy here in Fl. Needless to say, they are being teased for wreaking havoc with this storm. Japan and NZ have also had a tough year with major disasters. Hope the earth will quiet down and no more lives will be lost.
Thanx to ADAM & all my fellow Glamberts for the kind wishes for us here in the path of Sandy. I'm hoping it won't turn inland like they are predicting ... my entire family live here in the Buffalo NY area not far from each other so we're praying extra hard for it to diminish as it hits land ... from my lips to GOD's merciful ears ... STAY SAFE everyone .... Love 'n Light

Whoa, Tess, you're in the eye of the storm, metaphorically. God love you and your family.

Nice to hear from you again and rather coincidentally, you have two Sandy/s in your family circle. Also, my condolences to your son's passing on. It must have been traumatic both, as a mother and nurse.

Sending my hopes and well wishes for all my fellow glamberts on the east coast .... I can tell you from experience no matter how bad things Are they always get better... I'm from Jopin Mo. Lost more in the tornado then I care to remember... but every day is new and a step forward .... Peace love and light to all.... Rose petal
I'm so sorry to see this morning that the storm did so much damage and even loss of life. I felt a sentimental sadness that the replica of the ship The Bounty went down in the storm. It was on the way to us to be berthed here again. I have an album full of pictures of my girls crawling all over it in the 60's. It was a must stop after church on Sundays, they knew every nook and cranny of that ship.
@ Lam-my .. I liked what you said about the natural phenomena .. we do live on an ever changing live planet...we should endeavor to do as little damage as we can, but we can't fight the force of nature..JAK
JAK
Yea I saw all the devastation, whoa, I've seen the previous ones, but this one was shooting sparks and flares; and babies evacuated from hospitals; heart-wrenching to say the least. Our planet and its forces are indeed ferocious. Yea, that antique-looking ship so badly battered...nature's fury wreaks havoc. God love you all; my thoughts and prayers, stay safe. Even on tv, I kept saying...oh my goodness. JAK, your area is not so badly hit.

OT . . .work delayed because of storm . . .so I finally got to check out some Christina Aguilera (because Adam is always praising her)Where in the hell have I been I knew she had an outstanding voice but I went to youtube and watched some videos . .WOW
I can't imagine her and Adam singing together . . it would be too much for me . . .but I can take it . . . :)
Thank you dear Adam for your concern - always thinking of others. I'm from PA and we got by okay. My husband is outside right now helping our neighbor and removing a tree from our fence. Other than that, we all made it safely. I went to work this morning and no power! Since my hubby was off work, we went out to eat breakfast with a million others it seemed. Almost a two hour wait! I forgot most of these people probably had no power. We were lucky to have ours, but it was pretty exciting just the same. Happy to hear Trespassing is doing well in Texas! They have very good taste! I love Adam rocking the long wig - something about Adam in long hair that I love!lol!
Take Care Glamberts!

My name is Sandee, not spelled lake Sandy. Why in the world did they ever call this Sandy, I will never know. Sandee is a sweet name. Nothing like the storm.
JAK
I saw the film, Mutiny on the Bounty... must be the replica of that ship you are referring to.
Lam-my
@ Lam-my....JAK here....the ship that sank was the replica made for the Bounty movie that starred Marlon Brando. I used to take my paints and sit on the pier where it was docked and sketch and paint it from every angle...while my girls explored the ship and dangled lines in the water and caught buckets of blue crabs...Yum!
We had no ill effects from the storm, just bright blue sunny skies and gusty winds that have all the palm trees tossing their long fronds around as if they were flirting with the other trees. Small frosty white clouds are skipping swiftly thru the sky and it's a postcard pretty day in Florida. We are lucky.
@10:48 - in the "good old days" hurricanes used to only be named after women (pretty sexist) but now everyother one is a mans name/womans, etc. They needed a name beginning with "S" so Sandy was chosen. But I wouldnt want them using my name, either. Luckily, they will never be able to use my name, for reasons I wont go into. HA . . . Adamluv
JAK
Yes, Marlon Brando, that was what I recalled but didn't state it, fuzzy in my memory; used to watch all his movies; fantastic actor. Whoa, so it's sad, a piece of your memory sank with it too. Well at least, now, you have your paintings! :)

My youngest son was named after a typhoon (very similar to a Hurricane...). We didn't have a name for 2 days, then a huge storm hit HK, I asked my daughter what the typhoon was called, she said Sam I think....I looked at the baby, and said Sam, yes he looks like a Sam....and for several years everyone called him typhoon Sam. Luckily he wasn't born 4 weeks later when Typhoon York hit the territory!!!
Actually The Bounty starred Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins, one of my favourite movies ever....!!!!!I have a book that is years old that tells the story of The Bounty, I was always fascinated by it when I was younger, and it Tahiti was the one place I wanted to visit.
HK fan
The event of the naming of your son is very funny and I actually chuckled loudly. The film I saw was Mutiny On The Bounty. Yea I have seen Hong Kong typhoons on tv, fierce no doubt about it; but this hurricane Sandy is really beyond expectations...almost all the elements of weather/nature occurred all at once. So frightening...fire and floods at the same time. But the Japan earthquake+tsunami+nuclear disaster...takes top spot, not in a good way.
Lam-my
No.2 horrific disaster is the Aceh/Sumatra tsunami, with the highest no. of casualties, because it was sudden, unsuspecting and very widespread across the Indian Ocean and beyond. Nature is fierce; spectacular at the same time.
Lam-my
@HK - had to laugh at this one.
