I find it interesting that so many of our group kept talking against power ballads and wanting dance, dance, dance and yet the poll shows the most emotional heartache song was the favorite.

OT But I DONT CARE - got a ticket for Adams concert on July 19 in Costa Mesa, Cal. Soooooooooo excited!!!!!!!! Saw his GNT 2 nites in a row at this outdoor venue - seats over 8,000 peeps. Last time the tickets sold out so fast they added a second show. Cant do that this time since there's already a show scheduled the nite before. Great venue for a summer show. @Magiclady - had an email from Adams fan club sent last nite saying you could get tickets today if you were an updated member of the club. There were still tickets available a few hours ago.

have you guys read the predictions for #1...at race btwn Adam, Adele and Carrie. Bad news is that as of today they are predicting that Adam will sell 70-80k for the first week. Compared to his FYE which sold 198000 copies it seems low but I believe this is a very strong album and can hold steady numbers for weeks to come.

They are releasing another prediction on Friday which will be after idols so lets see if the no.s will change. As for Trespassing being sold out in some stores please keep in mind RCA shipped less copies of albums as compared to that of Carrie as she sells way more than Adam so don't take it to mean she is outselling him because his albums have run out.

Good news is that Bieber fans have been pimping out Trespassing. Two sent tweets with the link for itunes and they one had almost 500,000 followers while the other had over 800,000 which is AMAZING!!! Hope more young people buy the album.

RCA must be happy since Adam is doing well right now considering he hasn't done much promo and doesn't have a hit single on radio. If only the stations would start playing his music!! Its still too early to write off NCOE since it hasn't been impacted on radio and the video ain't out yet. Excited for his idols performance tomorrow!!!!!!

Out to dinner in town with friends last night and then directly to Target to get TP. A mid forties lady and her husband were ahead of me trying to decide which album to buy. She turned to talk to him and I quickly grabbed the last two deluxe albums turned on my heel and walked away. Since I am the mother of three in their forties, I figured "he who hesitates is lost and age before beauty." As I was walking away, I heard her say "What happened to those other albums?" Quickly "You snooze, you loose" came to mind. Now I'm just hoping it wasn't you Anon @2:04. I opened one album in my car and loaded it into my 6 cd player. I listened to TP Deluxe all the way home to my very rural abode beating on my steering wheel and bouncing in my seat. Love the album so much, but gotta say Underneath just grabs my heart and won't let go.

I wonder why RCA doesn't send enough physical albums to stores. Casual fans go to store and find shelves empty of Adam's TP albums and they walk out. They might forget about it and won't look for it else where. Lost sales. Same thing happened with FYE album.

Last year, I had tickets in the 3rd row, but my girlfriend was in a wheelchair with a pulled muscle and we couldn't sit there because we couldn't get the wheelchair down there. Many bucks paid for those seats. Had to move to 2nd level :(

@DRG Yes, it's only US charts. Adam as an out musician if he makes it to no. 1 on Billboard chart, he'll make history. With it comes a lot of news coverage. FREE PR FOLKS! BUY BUY BUY! This puts Adam into next level of acceptance and radios can't avoid him, IMO. People will dig into him further to know more about him and hopefully know him the way his fans know him. Respect his individuality as a human being. We always are willing to contribute to charity organizations that Adam promotes. This will be our charity to give back to him to put him where he belongs as a talented human being. A WINNER ON BILLBOARD CHART!

I don't understand what's going on with Billboard! All my friends at work asked me today about Tresspassing debut on Billboard.They said that album has to appear on Billboard same day as it was released. Same as FYE was debuted at #3 pn 2009. So, does anybody hear about the Billboard rules and charts?
So far, Itunes put back on Pop Charts "What Do You Want From Me"!
By the way, Tresspassing & Runnin are doing very good as singles!

I never will understand the Adam's management idea about releasing 2 albums! Both of them are doing very good on Amazon, and Itunes. However, if it would be only one albume, Tresspassing would stay as #1 best seller on amazong forever. And tresspassing would stay for while on Itunes charts. Adam deff has lack of manegement.
Aslo, this is fantastic tiem to release Tresspassing or Runnin (or bothe of them) as single!

OMG when I opened iTunes the first I saw on its home page was Adam's banner. Before with each opening of iTunes first I saw garbage (it's name of a band) the the promotions for Billboard and T.V. shows then John Mayer and then Adam. NOW I SEE ADAM FIRST on iTunes main page. Yay!!!

OMG It's the same thing on my iPad too. I see Adam's banner first when I open iTunes.

I went to Target Tuesday morning for a couple extras, but was shocked to see only 4 deluxe and 5 regular. I decided to let someone else have the chance to purchase them and check back later in the week to buy them if they were still there. At our big box grocery store there were only 5 regular and NO deluxe. I know the cd department is shrinking, but there were twice as many Carrie cd's there. The lack of adequate stock may hurt the first week's count. I'm sure there is nothing Adam can do. The amount sold to stores is up to RCA. I think they were not sure how popular Adam would still be.

On the two version question, though, surely BOTH count? I wish someone truly knowledgeable would educate us on these things!

@5:24PM Yes, all main artists do the same thing. They have Deluxe and regular. Some regular folks don't care for bonus tracks or they don't have enough money cause regular is cheaper than Deluxe.

@SS Could also be labels marketing strategy as well for sales! I know most artists have both Deluxe and Regular.

Can anyone tell me whay they do 2 versions? It just seems silly to me especialy when the both seem to be vying off one another??? Why not just ONE!

@SS I think they count both sales.But to get and stay on top charts would be much easier just releasing on album. JB is releasing two albums also. But I don't think he will have any problems to sell 200,000-300,000 of both of them in first week.By the way,this kid likes to follow Adam's steps. First,it was Charity Water for two years on the roll,released Acoustic album same time as Adam released his.No it is the copy of Tresspassing cover on JB'new album. And finally, I saw some advertisement with JB. He has same hair style like Adam. Poor little think. He doesn't relise that he can buy a lot of stuff on his millions. Just checked Amazon sales. Tresspassing original was #90 on top 100 music at noon. Now it is #66 on top 100 music! Sometime I want to know name of the person who got this crazy idea to release two version of one alubm in the same time!

@SS I agree with lack of albums stocked on stores' shelves Adam and label will lose sales. Most people now a days buy album on iTunes or Amazon. I bought Trespassing only from iTunes, AdamOfficial, and Amazon and I bought and gifted plenty of TP Deluxe. For regular casual fans that walk into the store and see lack of promotions and empty shelves might be a disappointment and loss of sales count for the first week.

In our little town they even don't change display in most of the stores. I saw top 20 bestseller rack with Susan B as #1. I think they didn't change this display over two years! I think people don't buy a lot of CD's at stores anymore.I prefere to order everything from amazon and get some credits. This way I don't pay for shipment usually!

Yeah, and didn't someone say the ones in stores are already counted as "bought" (by the stores themselves). Maybe for the first week, we should concentrate on Amazon and i-tunes. We have to learn these things so next time we know the tricks.

I will be meeting with my friend and driving down together and she will get the tickets since they're under her name. @magiclady - my advice to anyone wanting to go is to just get the best tickets available bc. closer to the event more tickets come up. The first show there in 2010 was given a pit ticket at the last moment and then gave my ticket to someone who wanted to upgrade theirs. No money changed hands since we all just wanted to help each other! The second nite I had paid scalper prices for a pit ticket but best.spent.money.evar! @6:33PM That's what the music analyst on the streets are predicting. They are saying if Carrie and Adele sell less than these numbers then Adam will be No. 1 on the Billboard chart. If so, then it will be the lowest album sales since August of last year. If not then, he'll be in 3rd place. With the amount of TV appearances and promotions Carrie is getting I doubt she'll sell less than 100K and Adele have been selling over 80K for the past 12 months straight. Adam's physical album going out of stock on stores' shelves ain't a good thing for TP's first week sales. We should make some of these artists who Adam were tweeting about their stuff to tweet about his album. Where is Paula Abdul? Rhianna, JB, Ellen, Katy Perry, Gaga, Queen, etc.? Come on tweet about Adam's album. We should all post this iTunes link http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/trespassing-deluxe-version/id518854512 on their facebook pages. Adam's album should make it to the no. 1 on US charts. It'll be historical!

2 of JB's fansites have tweeted support for Adam, one with 500,000 followers, one with 800,000. A Brittany spears and Gleek fansites have also tweeted, as have Michael Orland, Pharell fans, Nina Garcia, Sutan, Claude Kelly, Terrance, Taylor Green, Anoop, Michael Sarver and Kriss Allen from Idol, Eden Espinosa, Nile Rogers, Brandon Hilton (30k followers), Kayvon Zand (80k followers). These are just the ones I found in a quick check. Hopefully there'll be more in the next few days.

I really hope he makes number 1, whatever the sales numbers.

I love almost every song on the cd but I am getting worried about how we are in massive debate about which should be the next single. If we don't embrace NCOE there may not be any more singles (or at least any more singles with music videos, which are expensive and, sadly, necessary.)

All of the songs are so good that we are split. My favourite is Trespassing but I will take whatever song RCA releases next. And yes, I like Runnin' very much but it doesn't fit the radio format that Adam's aiming for.

We have to start seeing radio as a means to an end - not a medium for commending or rewarding the best song or our favourite sonf. It's a marketing tool.

The cd is doing well and I am so happy for him but this is my concern - Adam is leaving the US at a crucial time promotionally for the cd - we have to push NCOE for him while he is away.

Some people are waiting for the May 28th ADD date - we need to request now so that he starts out high.

We have to listen to 3:57. We cann't forget to keep requesting and supporting NCOE ont he radio!!!! I hope we're not neglecting this because so excited about the album and about the NEW songs that we want to be the NEXT single. Well, in order for there to be a third single, we have to support NCOE!! The video is coming out next week, right? I think that's what I read.

We must keep supporting NCOE consistently to keep the ball rolling. BTW, I want the next single to be Shady, but I love all the songs.

@8:44 I see nothing wrong with them sending positive tweets to theses celebs. That may have been how some of their fans (who have alot of followers) noticed Adam. They look at their favorites feed every day and see what is going on and possibly saw that one tweet. I see no difference in telling a friend, but this one just happens to have millions of followers. As long as they are just saying have you seen Adam's new album and not being hateful or negative to that celeb it is fine. IMO You go girl, I would if I had a twitter account.

I don't like Runnin as much as the other fans. It's among the bottom 3on my list. I like the darker songs most and the other 2 my least favourite tracks are Pop That Lock (too Gaga) and Naked Love (too Katy Perry).

I'm sorry, but Adam's managenent and fans are wrong. BTIKM and NCOE were horrible choices for singles. And I know everybody likes Underneath, but that's along the same vein as the other two. If radio play is what you want, Naked Love is the only choice.

Trespassing, Cuckoo, Shady and Broken English are all hits. I also think chokehold is. The next single should be one of the first 3 cuts from the album
