The nominations phase of the People's Choice Awards (PCA) has begun. Unfortunately Adam is not included as an official nominee in any category; however, you can write him in. It's going to take a whole lotta write-ins to get him a nomination, so rather than nominating him in all that he might qualify for, it would be more advantageous to do write-ins for only two (2) categories - FAV ALBUM and FAV MALE ARTIST. This strategy has been fully researched and make these two (2) categories the best chance for an official nomination when the voting phase begins on November 15.

FAV ALBUM - TRESPASSING debuted at #1 on the Billboard HOT 200 and got a lot of press and buzz as Adam made history. Rolling Stone and other critics raved about TRESPASSING being one of the Best Pop Albums of the Year - and it is charting higher on USA iTunes right now, and will probably continue to rise or at least hold steady.

Last year Demi Lovato was in fact a PCA write-in nomination - she wasn't on the nomination process ballot - and she won FAV POP ARTIST - so yep!, write-ins can and do work. And they have worked for Adam before - In the 2010 MTVO Awards Adam's Aftermath Remix was a write-in nomination and won that award category. Adam also gained a write-in nomination for the 2011 MTVO Must Follow Artist on Twitter and WON!

OTHER CATEGORIES
As opposed to FAV MALE ARTIST, the FAV POP ARTIST category has ALL of the biggies - like Adele (yikes!), Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Madonna, P!nk, Rihanna and Justin Bieber - HUGE fan bases that have the staying power to vote until the end, and they don't have to write in their artist.

FAV MUSIC VIDEO - Better Than I Know Myself - Why BTIKM over Never Close Our Eyes? BTIKM made VH1 TOP 20 and did well on Much Music, sadly NCOE didn't even make VH1 voting and didn't do as well on Much Music as BTIKM did. More of the general public have seen and know about the BTIKM video. The chance of a video nomination is slim, as the PCA factor in stats - including media buzz.

Keep in mind, the PCA are going to pick the TOP 5 in each category for the final vote ballot. Adam may have a better/the best chance if the focus is only on two (2) categories. If the write-ins are spread out over too many categories, Adam may not get on any of the final voting ballots.

well, I am a major, and I mean major, Adam addict..love, love, love him...but this upcoming election disapoints me in many ways..I stand where Adam does on the issue of Gay marriage..1,000 per cent in favor (why is this issue so debated, when it is just about affording people human and civil rights???)..I do not wish Roe vs. Wade to be recinded, but I am against using abortion as a means of birth control..and I believe contraception should be available to all women...even those who cannot pay..I mean a baby costs WAY more than birth control..however, I am against Obamacare..I belive it will end up costing Americans too much in tax dollars..there are some issues on both sides I favor, and some issues on both sides that I am against..what to do..??? at the end of the day, I guess I am a centrist...

why do you think that nobody has mentioned/complained that two girls kissed each other on PLL. I'm fine with their kissing -- i'm not fine that there wasn't a media uproar, that parents didn't come out of the woodwork and insist that their kids never watch the show again. another example of it's ok for females but not for adam lambert. and btw isn't ABC the network that held the AMA's when adam did that? so why is it ok for abcfamily to allow same sex kissing? makes me angry.

I'm watching a very interesting 2 part show in Australia that is profiling the lives of both Obama and Romney. Obama had a tough upbringing. Part 2 will be screened next week.

I'm glad Adam has officially endorsed Obama; I hope it gets the President some votes.

I'm not an American, but have been reading a fair bit of the election stuff on line, and the thought of anyone voting for Romney scares me.

@4:44 - was watching The Good Wife Sunday nite on ABC and IMO it's the best drama on network TV right now. There was a bedroom scene between 2 female characters, they are naked in bed together and you only see one of them until the other appears from underneath the sheets. I cant get anymore graffic than this but this scene was far more sexual, etc. than anything seen on The New Normal or other shows featuring 2 gay men. A station in Salt Lake City (Mormon owned) has refused to air the New Normal since it deals with 2 gay men using a surrogate to conceive a child for them. Am very surprised there has been no outcry over the Good Wife scene? Is the reason because it was 2 women and not 2 men? And we all know how straight dudes get off on seeing 2 women being sexual together. Any thoughts on this? Or did I just miss the outcry???? . . . Adamluv

A word of understanding to our darling Adam. The only reason that Obama came out in favor of gay marriage was the fact that he needed votes. Obama knows that gay marriage and other gay rights must be held to a state level. Everybody votes for a President according to their own needs. I can bet you that many navy seals will not be voting for Obama after his horrific lies and insults to our military about Libya. The gay people still stand a great chance of getting their due rights in the future. But, our ambassador and navy seals in Libya are DEAD because Obama refused to help them. Yes, it is very hard to understand why people vote for a certain person for president, but, all you have to really uderstand is that each and every one of us as Americans has our own right to vote for whomever we want. That is a right that no one should ever take away from us, no matter how another group is insulted by some one else's personal choice. It is called FREEDOM! I still love Adam with all my heart. He is the only singer that I would even begin to pay $257 for a row 5 ticket at the Phoenix State Fair. He was awesome! I was hoarse for 2 days.

I love Adam and I respect his views but Nobama for me.

It amazes me that citizens are so poorly informed that they think the president of the US can wave a wand and make things happen. Do they not understand the limits of the office? We're talking about a president not a king, not a dictator. On that subject, if Mitt Romney knows how to magically create 12 million jobs why hasn't he shared this plan with us, hasn't he seen our country is hurting? I guess it's another one of his "I'll tell you about it after I'm elected", so I guess if he isn't elected he will keep it secret and to hell with helping.

And now a word about the s.o.b. CEOs of companies who are threatening their employees that if the current administration is voted back in, they, the employees jobs will be in jeopardy. What a bunch of dictatorial di**heads.
Will people be able to chance that they won't be fired, they need their paychecks and anyway how will these jerks know who their employees did or didn't vote for?
In the old days they simply would have bribed the employees with a nice bonus to vote for the "right" candidate, illegal but much kinder.

This election has certainly proved that our election system needs severe overhaul. Starting with getting rid of Superpacs! What a lamebrain idea that was. It's like begging for corruption.

We have no right to criticise the governments of other countries when our own backyard needs to be cleaned up.
