I recorded VH1Divas ahd watched it few times. My Mom and husband told me that they will buy me the ticket for Adam's next show. I didn't tell them that mest show is gonna be in Bali:D
Adam is brilliant! Nobody can compete with him and nobody wants to have him around. I don't think Adam will have chance to perform in US in next few years after this show! And I hope my family can afford to buy the ticket for me to Finland or Russia:D

Yes, hang tightly on to him; he's one helluva rockstar and always takes good care of his family and friends. He employs them too. That black-white-sign theatric coat he wore to perform ROL fits his personality so well. Terrific choreography for that performance; alas missed his beautiful crescendos but still very very good! Lately I see many antique fashions on his shows along with the latest as well. I actually have a piece of display black/white blanket that resembles this motif; bought it at an antique shop many years ago. I imagined it might add a little stage effect if hung unobstructively at a corner of his stage with a light shining on it. lol!

@Lanm-my THeratrical-Yes! Choreograhy-Ho!We know that Adam can't dance. But I never knew that his dancing performance so poor.

9:41 pm You're not an Adam's fan obviously, so what are you doing here?

Sorry guys, i need to vent out! Adam performed Queen's songs so well but why couldn't he kill a song of Madonna who is known can't sing live that well. She is known to lipsync her own songs at her concerts. One well known artist went to her recent live concert and said she is great entertainer and dancer but she sang live only two songs and for the rest of her set she lipsync cause she was dancing and i guess it is hard to dance and sing at the same time. Does she on purpose make her songs so it is difficult to sing them live? Celever business woman!

I think Adam's dancing was good.He doesn't claim to be a professional one,but he did some pretty good dance steps. That, with his great vocals, made his part wonderful...all his songs and comedy sketches also.would love to see him on SNL.

Adam should seriously think about staging his own show; I tell you he'll send many borderline shows tumbling like tumble-weeds. lol! We can see even in this Diva show, his talents are multi-faceted; overlapping one another. And artists young and old respect him, even the seasoned ones; which means he'll be able to bring in diverse artists on his show, hmm...Queen! lol!

Adam's dance moves?? I say bring on his pelvic moves!!

Adam should do a VH1 reality show when he is working on his third album next year. We get to watch him on our TV every week.

There was some issues with ADAM's earpiece in ROL.
Here's what the sound guy said:

"We would be remiss if we didn’t mention what an absolute sweetheart that ADAM LAMBERT is. Here, he poses for a quick picture with his “Ray Of Light” dancers just seconds before he went on stage.
Adam was lovely to his dancers, making jokes and dancing dirty with them to keep everyone loose before the big performance.
Additionally, you would not believe how incredibly polite he was to this sound guy while asking him to adjust the volume levels of his ear pieces. What a great guy!"

A Review of VH1 Diva

"ADAM LAMBERT took a break from his VH1 DIVAS hosting duties to channel his inner Queen of Pop for smashing performance of Madonna‘s “Ray of Light.”oh boy! — did he show that he can do just that tonight.
Lambert performed the 1998 hit in a graphic tunic get-up that would certainly make Madonna proud (seriously, we could not have predicted anything so wild as this robe, and will definitely be doing some decrypting in the coming days!), and he managed to capture all the song’s emotions just right.

Between this, his best Bowie and that Donna Summer, he might need an entire VH1 DIVAS show to himself next year!"

"It was host ADAM LAMBERT who may have been the most entertaining and endearing Diva of all."

"Already renowned for his fab fashion sense and MAC guy-liner, Lambert's progressive (and may we say fun) approach to his wardrobe is second only to his spine-tingling vocal range."

RT @Wildaboutmusic: @adamlambert is a very talented host — as he showed on #VH! Divas. He ought to have his own variety series.

Adam not a dancer, he does not flip around and all that but the man does fine and has some great moves. There was a review a while back saying that guy can move. He was all around phenomenal last night period! This one person keeps trying to bring people down and post some crap and then posts more crap presenting she or it is someone else to seemije someone is agreeing with her! I thought Adam was just Suberin, and what dancing moving he did was good and on point! Loved every minute of him last night, watched over and over just his parts!

I love your haiku´s always

Netpages here in Finlad shows OUR OWN the most popular son-in-law with Sauli and lovely Mombert

Happy Holidays to you all, M

Hi M
Thank you!! Really nice to hear from you; yea, I was so touched to see the very first picture of Finland's son-in-law, Adam planting a warm kiss on Sauli's face! That sure is a clear sign they're still very much in love. And they are less self-conscious now and also very calm. So you must be all ready for the big show count-down; it will definitely have a significant meaning for the Finns attending the concert and the viewers as well. I wonder if Adam might invite Sauli on stage because Sauli is also a very popular figure in Finland. By the way, Sauli looked and sounded really good when he accepted his Elle award. :)

I cannot believe anyone that has watched Adam perform can say he cannot dance..wow..I love to watch hime dance and listen to him sing

Watching the TV show the ROL came off a bit strange - mostly over the shock of the outfit and not being that familiar with the song. But watching it back on video it was actually very good. so tired of all the over critical comments here, glad to see such positive reviews of ROL in actual media.

Adam moves well and he is never stiff or awkward on stage....his natural dance moves are sexy. If you look at the end of NCOE video you can see that he is actually pretty good dancer. In order to do big production numbers with lots of choreography you needs time to practice to perfect a routine and I don't think that was Adam's main job on Divas.

What ever happened to that new Drummer that’s
Only did a couple of concerts a few months back.

I agree with Jordan: ADAM WAS..AND IS...INCREDIBLE. I have nothing critical (as in "negative" criticism) to say about his DIVAS performances from start to finish. He did a fabulous job and anything else is just nit-picking. He dances, he sings, he speaks, he acts, he laughs,..he kisses and loves Sauli...all very well. He had a couple of minor sound issues but so did most of the others. Not his fault. I was there...and enjoyed every second..

Anonymous said...

Well there's a video where he sang 'Crazy'...it's an actual dance routine where he even did a pirouette...he's a very expressive, sensual dancer. Google it. Apart from that, already pointed out, his spontaneous sexy moves; also have seen videos of him performing sexy dance routines, younger days. He did say once that if he was not a singer, he probably would have pursued dance.

BillBoard:
Lambert joined in on a few of those numbers, belting a selection of Summer's disco classics ("Love to Love You Baby," "Hot Stuff" and "Last Dance") alongside Rowland and Hilson and later nailing Madonna's "Ray of Light." He also opened up the show with a dramatic entrance followed by David Bowie's "Let's Dance."

Are we still requesting BB's songs on the radio??If so,which ones??Trespassing and Cuckoo??URL's please.Thanks,

I LOVED the Vh1 DIVAS! Adam has a natural presence on stage and hosting and singing . WOW. I think "Ray of Light" started shaky but finished great!. Adam moves like a cat soooooooo confident . I think in current pop though dancing has to be part of what you do. A little choreography would be great! and a few dance lessons would certainly put that act over the top! Jordin is really beautiful!

4 Adam Lambert
“Never Close Our Eyes”
“Never Close Our Eyes” was one of the most underrated crowning achievements of the year and the perfect melting pot of all the different shades of Adam Lambert’s music. It is not only a pulsing techno/club raver, but an intelligent ballad as well. Unlike other party tracks that travel into a seedy message of impending doom, this presents the point of view of an all-night partier who isn’t crying out for help, but just wants to enjoy every moment he has. There’s a subtle touch of romance in the lyrics as well, as it is not “my” eyes being referred to, but “our” eyes instead.

Mark my words I have always felt it Adam's gonna have a big year next year, I realize he gonna work on Album may be out of the loop awhile mid year, but possible he will be in lime light while making it l, 2013 and a lead into 2014, do not know how to explain it but feel this man I'm next two years gonna explode, even here! Probably quite mid year as working on album next year! Adam was beyond wonderful on Diva's and only reason I watched. There were good performances, but Adam stood out on everything! Read vh1 article said half people there were there because Adsm was hosting!glitzy Lady you go by yourself are with your nice husband? That GlitzyLady!

Vh1 said half the people there attended because Adam was Hosting the show main reason they were there! Sue

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE DRUMMER, HE HAS GIVEN UP MUSIC, BECOME A PATHOLOGIST AND NOW APPEARS WEEKLY ON CSI NAIROBI. note: he is very happy living in Kenya.

I noticed most of the news about VH1 Divas is about the female performers. Is Diva used only for females?

Anonymous said...

Diva is feminine...Divo is masculine

Anonymous said...

Hi nancdruuu2
Yea, 'Crazy' very sexy dance routine and at the same time, he wails...that song is not easy to sing; remember, in a duet the partnering singer scraped through. :)

Ahh I see my intimidated opportunist stalker strikes again. So now you use a new tactic...slips in when I have left...why don't you just openly confront me, with a name-tag; this is so slimy.
