If you have an extra $5,000, you can kick it with former President Bill Clinton and Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant at Santa Monica-based Step Up on Second’s grand opening of their latest affordable-housing project in Hollywood, known as Step Up on Vine.
The VIP tickets include a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with both President Clinton and Bryant. There will also be a live auction that will include private time with Bryant and an event with Clinton.
Money raised supports Step Up, a provider of housing and other services for those with mental illness, and the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, which is dedicated to ending homelessness in Los Angeles.
General tickets are $1,000 for the event, scheduled for Jan. 14.
Proceeds will help Step Up provide more permanent supportive housing in Hollywood, said Step Up CEO Tod Lipka........."

I'm a little confused, I guess. So, this charity event featuring Bill Clinton and Kobe Bryant will take place tonight, Jan. 15. Ok. So, when was this gorgeous picture of Adam taken? At which event? Oddly enough, I don't recognize it. Hope we get some nice pix of him at tonight's event.

Warning - This is way off topic: Has anyone seen Kelly Clarkson's video for Catch My Breath? I love Kelly, but she's just standing there singing the song. Nothing wrong with that, but I wish RCA would have Adam put out a video with him just standing there singing. Everyone would love it and how much money could it cost? Every time Kelly blinks, a new song and video is out and goes straight to number one. Sorry for my ramblings. I just get frustrated for Adam sometimes. I know Adam is doing great, but much more could be done....nancdruuu2

@6:44 This was a fund raiser. That means it was put on to raise money for a special cause. It cost the people who attended it either $1,000 to be there or $5,000 to talk with either Kobe or Clinton. GGPASS

I don't need a mini movie to enjoy a video of a new song....just Adam sitting on a stool or pacing and doing a shimmy shuffle barefooted is enough for me. I watch the AOL Sessions of his songs over and over, plus Iheartradio and vh1 Unplugged performances. Those keep calling me back.........JAK

Just asking about Kelly. Wasn't she having some issues with 19E way back? I think I read sometime before she cut off her ties with them? I heard also that Clay wanted to be out of his contract with 19E because it was for 10 years at that time. Then 19E shortened it to 4 years after a few years. Anybody can clear this up for me? Please!
