Adam's hair is so fluffy and that wavy overhanging lock is well cut/pruned. lol! Outlaws of Love, my favourite, has taken on a second part, quick-waltz tempo and is less melancholy in the sense, you can dance to it without paying too much attention to the basically serious lyric; a sort of letting go and accepting one's lot and enjoy what we've got.

It's great that Adam has fans of all ages but it doesn't help Adam get more young fans, the demographic radio wants, when their moms and grandmas like that artist. It's not cool to like the same star as your grandma. There have been plenty of examples of young people saying this. It's fine to say you are a fan but not necessary, and possibly detrimental, to say your age on sites with lots of teens or radio station sites, etc. It's not about your age, it's about what is best for Adam's career.

Sorry, I have to post my "letter' to you here,on this thread because, sometimes comments on older threads seem to pass away unnoticed.
Allow me to intervene into a personal , possible choice of yours. It would be sad if you were contemplating such a possibility! Why? Because even if , it's my opinion, the forum has turned into a tabloid on-line, even if some of the topics are trivial, even if some of the comments seem to cover a larger scale than usual, from simple disagreements, to hateful, even irrational ones there is always a solution, The Tag. The User Name. People, in general, seem to have no restraint when it comes to spill hate, frustration, negativity when they think they can go with it unnoticed.
And let me make a confession, Adam 24/7 is synonymous , for me , with
unknown but strong-opinionated women=tags such as glitzy, Lam-my, JAK and many others.
Once, I had all the motives in the world to never come back to a forum where I was invited to feel free to leave because I expressed my doubts whether Adam's voice was suited to electo pop or not(I still think I was right) but I keep on coming back because I love Adam, his music and because I appreciate you, guys!

I'd like to say my honest opinion about why I don't want to use a tag. I want that the attention is paid to what I say and not me. I think some people want to draw more attention to themselves than others.

I mean this is not twitter, where you can be followed and unfollowed, if that matters to you more.

I like that the word Glamily was invented in an online chat. I don't know what Adam means by his Glamily, but I'd like to think he means all his fans, not just the fans of his band members or those who go to his concerts.

Since I've started collecting Soc Sec I will keep my mouth shut about admiring Adam or attending any future concerts. I don't want my age to destroy his career. Will it be okay if I still buy CDs? I still think if someone writes something, negative, positive or neutral, a simple name-tag enhances the comment rather than detract its focus as purported. The term anonymous connotes evasiveness, not so keen to stand by what one says / writes; this however does not apply to all the anonymous writers. I would like to see all anonymous writers here adopt a simple name-tag; same one throughout without unnecessary changes or replacements. The reason why some anonymous commenters do not want to put a name-tag is quite puzzling to me. For example, if I use a name-tag like ZZ, it does not reveal a single thing and yet if you keep it throughout without constantly changing it or purposely leaving it out, the comments made by ZZ have a virtual face and are more impacting rather than distracting or have less focus as suggested. I'd say it would give the comments more weight not less. The real reason why a few commenters prefer to remain anonymous is they want to repeat their negative or even scathing comments numerous times and confuse others into thinking they're from different people...that to me is cowardly and with an ulterior motive to carry out their agenda. Having said that, I have written to some rather kind and inspiring anonymous commenters. Just for the record, I have never changed my pen-name nor left it out on purpose in all my comments; not even once, here or elsewhere.

No, I stated quite clearly a comment be it negative, positive or neutral has more commitment and willingness to stand by what one says, if accompanied by a name-tag. As for more or less weight on the comment still depends on the content itself; but I said it as a direct rebuttal to an earlier suggestion that implies leaving out a name-tag gets the reader to focus more on what is being said...that to me doesn't make much sense. It still boils down to what is said that captures the focus; but a name-tag does add to the commenter's commitment regarding what is purported.

If someone deems you an asshole (first-time use lol!), if you post a negative comment, it's up to you to refute it and convince your opponent that she is the real asshole (2nd-time use lol!). That's why I say the weight of the comment depends largely on the strength, substantiation and reasoning of the argument.
